Yeah I think this is DOA and maybe unsalvageable. Mattel killed the international market and the winds gone out the sales. And there’s no ace up the sleeve lol what? Bro, we're eight hours in lol If the last time taught us anything, there was an enormous surge ahead of the deadline for Macho. This time there will probably be a surge ahead of the Hogan 5K deadline. I'm happy that we're off to a much higher Day 1 start than we were with the New Gen set. |

ShopPay offers pay in 4, I literally just paid that way. Can shop pay take the payments from PayPal? Ive never used it before. Only way I can back this is if I use my PayPal money. I don't think so, I believe credit cards only. Can't you transfer paypal money back to your bank and use that to pay your card? I do that all the time |

You have to remember though: the New Gen set got off to an incredibly poor start... there was very little hype or excitement for it, compared to this set. That's why they added Macho afterwards. As of me sleeping it’s at 924.
I’m expecting it to be around 1200 minimum by the time I wake up. Ideally you’d want it to be approaching 2k in the next 7 hours or so if it has a chance of hitting 11k

As an international fan (Ireland) it seems to me that there is serious money to be made by someone out there in the US offering to buy this on behalf of the international fans and ship it out afterwards. If you charged an "admin" fee of $20 (ie; charged international customers $420) and then worked out a bulk shipping cost with your local post office or whatever next year, and didn't charge customs/etc. in advance, you would assume that you'd get a few thousand international customers willing to back it via you? You'd obviously need to have good logistical skills to get all the parcels shipped out as they arrive to you, and somewhere to store them (although you could literally re-ship them out as they arrive with you, same-day) but there must be a few thousand dollars to be made offering this service. You'd have 2-3 weeks of mayhem next year when all the WCW boxes start showing up at your door, but it would be well worth it. Was thinking about this. Does ringside ship internationally? Don't see how or why you could place a preorder for them, say $450 plus shipping and they just buy it straight from Mattel Creations and then ship to you at a standard price |

One thing that this place has taught me, is that I bet lots of you guys are real fun at parties 🙄.
Of course the project could always be better or something different, but to tell yourself if this fails that they’ll come back and try something else like this is asinine. This fails, other stuff is going to be a MUCH harder sell for them to spend time, money, and resources into planning yet another project when the last huge stage failed.
It’s not a hard concept to see that the base stage on this nitro and the raw is war are the same mold. If you want the raw stage, don’t hope for this to fail. Hope it succeeds (no, that doesn’t me YOU have to back it) because that means when/if the raw is war stage comes that the mold will be done and it’ll help Combat the price for funding raw is war.

Plus apparently we will get a little bit Friday and even something Sunday. It’s going to hit 5k for sure. If only Nitro debut Lex was the first figure, it would have been backed already...  Backed up and dumped out by a garbage truck maybe! I’ll give Steve $400 to never make an Ultimate Lex, which is more than that bums figure will make total! On a serious note though, I think if it hits the Hogan goal that will encourage more people to back it. With this set, I don’t think the first day will tell us much of anything like most are acting like. Too many factors in coming days to be pessimistic only a few hours in. |

We have no idea what Mattel might come up with if this starts to struggle. Remember that 4/5 figures are using existing molds so really the stage is the only expense here. Even thou Steve said nothing will be added I really doubt Mattel won’t pull something out at the last minute to help this get to 5k. |

Ahh seems like Steve-O did say it. Steve is pretty straight forward and easy to read. Not in a bad way either.
If there were to be a possibility for an add-on, he would either not respond or say “not in the works at the moment.” A flat out no I would tend to believe is final. A part of me feels they should’ve kept DDP or even the Warrior to excite some folks when it slows down.
