This thing is dragging..
I know it’s early and I’m trying not to be pessimistic about this but I think it’s gonna die out by the Hogan deadline and then it’ll just sit for 30 days

April 12th they will have a video about it but if it's not backed to 5k by the 7th Hogan is off the table
Good bye wvw logo belt Wcw debut Hogan
Mattel doesn't have to offer anything extra if this doesn't not get funded new parts don't get made stages won't be made and we will be left with cheap target Walmart versions and crying of people begging for large items that will likely fall on deaf ears as the thought will be there's no market for those items wrestling community is not large enough. Most of their sales come from parents buying 10-20 figures for their kid and those retro sub lines and casual collectors. You keep thinking they are at our mercy when Mattel has barbie and he man and other properties we don't control them we cooperate and work to a healthy mix not want you wanted or can't afford ok no problem. But sitting here trying to tell others yeah they will add or beg for us to fund this I don't think they will sure Steve might as he's a collector but the higher ups will just scoff ok back to making Roman's cenas hogan's mysterios maybe 1 new guy here and there. So no Mattel is not gonna beg you the stage is huge people wanted it they offered it so now we either go ok let's fund it or put our foot in our mouth and realize this could be the end of crowd funders for wwe products for awhile or ever. Look at hasboro once stuff failed they slowed down on anymore crowd funders long rant over. BRING ON REVEALS.

Steve just mentioned on the Q and A that it’s a ‘shipping surcharge’ that varies country to country. Must be some calculator they’re using! Must be yeah, they posted the numbers in the FAQ page. Shipping surcharge is $40 CAD for Canada. Fair enough. But $400 US is not converted to $655 CAD, it's $542. So there's still the $113 discrepancy.

Fix the international charges
And let Halloween havoc 96 macho man come to rescue. The only way this thing will get close to 11k

I'm one of likely many undecided ones! 50/50, likely will end up backing and am in hope for the 9k Backers..... Figure choices are wrong for me. Hogan, Mysterio and Warrior don't give me a bust to buy! DDP is good, but should have been in Jeans! There were other good options for characters to choose! $400 is ok, if all figures are included, even if the Warrior won't make it!
Access and April 7th will tell, if this crowdfund can make it! It's gonna be stuck similar to the New Gen Arena. But the time of year is better with Wrestlemania Season! I see the 5k happening, but 7k or even 9k will be hard! International customers are discouraged by the price! Understand!
Let's hope for all the Die-Hard collectors, that the crowdfund will make it!

Unfortunately, that is going to be the problem with most, if not all crowd funded items. There are so many collectors out there, that Mattel could never make everyone happy. If they had 5 completely different figures, you would still hear the complaints that the figures aren't the right choices. It's kind of a lose/lose situation for Mattel in that regard, but a win if the thing gets backed.

Wow there is at least $100 CDN unaccounted for in the cost, even when considering the shipping surcharge and CDN taxes. Now I’m not just tuned off, I’m pissed off unless they can better explain this. The lack of transparency by mattel WRT international order costs is atrocious.

So if this doesn't fund seems like we lose new parts
Wcw logo belt New Hulk scan New big Scott Steiner arms meaning big poppa pump will.have inaccurate arms Torso choice Legs
Crowd funders not only give us the stage but they allow New parts to better make figures.
So I'm guessing any Scott's planned this year will be flashback with non freakzilla molds because only 2 guys had arms that jacked Steiner and Billy Graham.

Shipping is not duties and import taxes, which are the remaining numbers you didn't factor in. That's out of Mattel's control. If anyone is to blame, the government is to blame. I get that this thing is expensive but I don't understand why people continue to villify Mattel over taxes or charges that we as customers are legally required to pay upon importing items into our country. Some companies don't even calculate these for you at checkout. Would you rather be hit with a surprise customs bill from the courier and they hold your package until you pay up? Cause that's the other option here.

You're not wrong! I get why they do Hogan, Warrior or Mysterio! These names sell and should boost the project! Just think, that there could at least have been that 1 big one to boost the 9k or 11k. Steiner at 9k is a good choice I guess, I don't see Warrior taking it to 11k. I'm one of likely many undecided ones! 50/50, likely will end up backing and am in hope for the 9k Backers..... Blame Canada lol no seriously it's governments that have screwed over international buyers. I had a buddy ship my 5 gargoyles figures and 1 a month I have to send because the custom charge is way to high. Luckily he found me a elite hideo itami so we are even.

Of course he’s gonna say that because they want this to fund without having to add to it. They could seriously just add a ring skirt or announce table and that won’t cost them but a couple dollars. Hogan and Rey are already molded figures so they’re only gonna cost Mattel just a few dollars for each set sold. So that leaves the Stage at let’s say $350 ……Id say Mattel is making that stage for $100-$125….So they have room to add more. All I’m saying is if on May 6th this has 4500 backers thsts over 2 million dollars that Mattel has on hold with everyone’s credit card. I just don’t see them not securing that. I'm not sure he'd outright state that though, if they had any sort of backup plan to add more. He'd just avoid the question. There was no real reason to actually offer a response (given he's rightfully selective about what information is given), unless it was an absolutely set and fixed situation. Yeah I think Steve’s upfront and fair - some unfortunately he can’t give but he’s pretty good at giving hints “patience” or “hopefully soon” type comments and if he says no imo I’m confident it means no. Otherwise as stated he’d just not respond Also from Mattel’s perspective they don’t want to be held hostage. The first one had macho added. If this one had someone added no doubt the next one people would be expecting another ‘surprise’ / addition. They need to draw the line somewhere

Go check hasboro they had stuff start failing and now I'm not seeing any new crowd funders. Once a Crack in the hull shows the ship will sink. How many mo the have people begged pleaded for a Nitro or raw stage only for the option to come and no it's like we'll it's not what I wanted so screw this Mattel fix it next time. 🤔 I wanted a hell in the cell but most wanted a stage gotta have the stage ok so here's there stage let's get it and show them we're loyal not being stuck up little babies wanting everything done their own way. No Buff Bagwell sucks but he's not signed no hall or Nash probably saved for a 2 pack deal no other cruiserweight not every wrestler loved wwe and want nothing to do with them. We get who we can and hope for more we hope hhh mends fences we hope lawsuits end but the figures were bonus last time we got 3 UE a ring and a decent but tiny co.pared to this thing entrance piece. They already stayed these are 1 of a kind no to be reduplicated new parts so do t except Billy Graham or scotty to have jacked arms if new parts are not funded. And when a wcw ring comes out in the fall don't expect this stage to be offered again or a raw one next crowd funder. The raw stage by the way would likely not needed much to not be just produced as it didn't have near that many lights.
