This is the stuff that makes people angry. It's not a one off and when it happens with products that's only available to you that's an even bigger slap in the face. How do they expect us to back the stage with the announcement of Monday night wars figures when we probably won't see them especially if your international.

How many times r y'all gonna fall for this. I'll just try my luck in store Easier said than done. My closest Walmart is a tiny store and never gets any endcaps or shippers. There was a well stocked store nearby, but it closed last year. Now my next closest locations are about 30-40 minutes away, which is just too far to justify the crap shoot that the stores are both recently stocked and not yet picked over. For us international collectors we have to rely on online pre orders from Wal-Mart and Target because we either won't see these here or don't have the stores

Same case for me too, and I live in a major Canadian city. My local Walmart never receives anything because it's too centralized, but the Walmart's closer to the US border, and the ones outside of the city always receive new stuff. I constantly see posts from members of a Facebook group showing off their purchases from Walmart, then I'll visit mine and they either have nothing or they're stuck with a small handful of figures from months back.

I just ordered RA3 on Ebay because of this thread, past threads, and the fact that out of all the 50+ Walmarts in my entire state, NO ONE got the WWE 2K23 sidekick containing RA3. I had to drop $40 per fig, but y'know what... that $15 per each fig would've been all the gas I spent to determine no one got the sidekick. I don't feel bad about it; I just want the darn figs.
I am NOT looking forward to Walmart handling the Monday Night War line. I'm already not looking forward to RA4, RA5, RA6, and the UERAs.

They cancelled every Mattel WWE product I had on pre-order, from Superstars to RA. Meanwhile we know they had at least some of the RA figures that were on shippers recently. Yup, I've seen the Nash on Fleabay and Mercari...they obviously exist...

RA3 and Superstars (Mr. T, Typhoon, Rock, Macho) were all cancelled days after they were "delayed" yet again.
Glad I got Kevin Nash from Paul.
The Walmarts in Chicago suck (bad neighborhoods, empty shelves, horrible employees). Not looking forward to the MNW line if this is what we can expect.

I wish I knew the contract details between Mattel and Walmart before investing in a line lol .
I feel like Walmart has a ton of outs if a certain line doesn’t sell “x” amount of units after the first few waves . Like they can scale back their purchases on future waves which is why they would cancel preorders . Because they wouldn’t have enough to fulfill all online orders plus store orders . Could be dead wrong , but what others reason can they have for canceling orders ?
I work for a distributor that does preorders for items that sometimes take a year to get to us from the manufacturer. And the only reason we’d ever cancel a preorder is if the manufacturer just doesn’t send the items
Mattel says they are sending the items so ? ? ? ?

Yes it happened to me as well. I usually get things from Ringside ... but will get things from Target, Walmart and once in awhile Amazon. Walmart does this often. Sad.

can we just stop pre-ordering mass retail released figures? its not necessary How so? So, you on the side of the argument to just walk into the store and buy it? Cause NONE of the stores near me have the product. So what do you suggest we do?

can we just stop pre-ordering mass retail released figures? its not necessary They're supposed to be mass released, but they aren't. Not even close. I live in an area where there are about 7 Walmarts within an hour from me, and only 2 of them ever received any of the RA series and they hit once and were never seen again. The better question is, "Can they just stop offering pre-orders and holding your money for items they have no intention of delivering?"

can we just stop pre-ordering mass retail released figures? its not necessary how can it be mass released if they cancelled every single order? Are you finding these in abundance out there? Yes it happened to me as well. I usually get things from Ringside ... but will get things from Target, Walmart and once in awhile Amazon. Walmart does this often. Sad. My problem with ringside, is they often slap the ringside tax on things because you get it "early"

I think it's pretty obvious Mattel doesn't care if we actually can find Walmart exclusives in Walmart stores or get them in the mail. Mattel already got paid for them, that's all that matters to them as a business. I mean, people have been rightfully complaining how lousy Walmart is at stocking these things at retail, and what an absolute joke their pre-ordering system is, but Walmart threw Mattel the cash,so it doesn't really matter to them. They gotta make money to stay in business. That's a hard truth, but it is what it is. On a more positive note, I've only had one figure I pre-ordered out of every Legends line put out by Target as exclusives to be canceled so far. That was Beefcake, and we still don't know what happened with that series. That was just weird. So yeah: Walmart bad, Target good.

can we just stop pre-ordering mass retail released figures? its not necessary Preorders wouldn’t be necessary if a retailer stocked them online regularly, but they don’t. And ordering them online is necessary because not every store of said retailer gets certain series in stock. I can’t count how many times I’ve had a Target or Walmart near me in 3 different states not receive an entire series of a store exclusive line. And I know this because I worked in the stock room at Target many years ago and there were several series of Hall of Fame, NXT Takeover, and Hall of Champions that the store I worked never received. And many towns only have a single Walmart or Target.
