So I go out of my way to pre-order as soon as Walmart lists their items.
The release date is like 8 months away.
The items experience multiple delays regardless.
The item randomly gets put up over the weekend, showing in stock, and I order solely because I think Walmart would cancel my original.
Walmart says "LOL, we're cancelling both your orders."
Bro. I am 2/3 of the way toward finally completing ring gear versions of WWE's NWO in figure form, which I have been waiting for since 2002. Why can't I have nice things, Walmart? (Oh, and I have no hope for my Ultimates Eddie anymore.)

For the record their customer service is saying that Walmart never received the figures from Mattel distributors which we all know is a lie. I maybe biased, but i think that walmart rep was telling the truth. |

My Superstars Macho Man, ordered in October, was just cancelled. I will not pay a scalper for this, if it doesn't show up in a store near me I won't be buying it.  |

RA has not been easy to find in stores and ordering quantities from a “styles may vary” listing isn’t exactly the answer.
But go ahead and just classify everyone in the “omg gotta have it now” section

So, your solution to RA figures is to order a random assortment in hopes to get the only 1 you want. Have you ever returned something purchased online in Walmart? It's not that easy, they require you to go to a Fed ex store to drop it off. It ain't like target. I'm glad you have a Walmart that stocks what you want. My store had 1 HBK, and 1 Brock Lesnar since RA came to stores and nothing since. Yeah patience. |

Yeah, my main issue is that Walmart has vary little consistency in how and what they stock, at least in my area. I have 5 Targets within a 20 minute drive. All essentially get the same product, in roughly similar quantities, and at roughly the same time. And their figures are regularly in stock online if I can't find them in store. I have 1 Walmart within that drive. It's a small store and never gets shippers or end caps, which tend to be how Walmart distributes their exclusives. A second store (that was well stocked) closed last year. The next closest stores are 40 minutes away and inconsistently stocked. I just can't justify the time and gas to make that drive in hopes that maybe the figure I want is in stock when I go there. And Walmart's online orders are a coin toss at best. I ordered an in stock RA Nash last Friday. It was scheduled to arrive Sunday. On Sunday I got a delay notification. Yesterday they cancelled the order completely. It's not a matter of "I want my toys first." It's that I want to purchase these products, but not enough to waste gallons of gas and hours of my time hoping I luck into finding what is supposed to be a mass produced toy. |

Walmart took preorders for RA series 4 back in late Feb/early March and everyone that I've seen has had their preorders canceled, including mine.
I asked Steve for clarification in the Q&A thread so fingers crossed we get some answers. I doubt Walmart would outright cancel preorders without a good reason. Their goal is to make sales after all, and they can't do that if they don't have the items. I'm thinking Mattel hasn't shipped certain things out on time.

Wish Walmart would get their shhhhh together. I rarely find figs at stores, so pre orders are the way to go for me. So happy Target got the legends line.

Nah, the POINT is their pre-order system, which should be a viable way to purchase and receive items, is a joke. It's not about getting them first, it's simply about actually getting what you ordered after they offered it to you. And you think ordering RA figures blindly, hoping to get a certain one (and not one you might already have), is a solution? You're trying to blame the consumers here and it's not true. And these Walmarts you mentioned having so much in stock? I haven't seen them, must be nice! |

Well if that's the case, why did they put this item up for sale in October of 2022? If they are going to be so plentiful (and I do believe you are probably correct) - - - why aren't they available online, especially when they are/were FOR SALE online? Distribution has been so piss poor that I have no further desire to drive to these stores to find nothing but empty shelves, I'd rather just have it sent to my home whenever they can get them to me - - - but they can't. |

Now WWE related but oddly enough I pre ordered the LEGO ant man figure from Quantamania since they don’t charge until they ship. No movement on My original March order (same day superstars and Eddie/rey went up) however the item came up in stock online yesterday and my new order will be here tomorrow.. oh Walmart

This is one of my Walmarts. They ordered a crap ton of E93 and for some reason won’t clearance them even though they’ve sat here for months. There are at least like 6-8 more on the shelf above this.  |
