Walmart doing Walmart things...cancelling pre-orders

Me too. I ordered it twice. Two separate times ot was available for purchase. Why even make it available for purchase if you don’t have it? And two separate times!

For the record their customer service is saying that Walmart never received the figures from Mattel distributors which we all know is a lie.

You all just need to embrace our friend Paul.

They cancelled every Mattel WWE product I had on pre-order, from Superstars to RA. Meanwhile we know they had at least some of the RA figures that were on shippers recently.

The only thing I didn't have on pre-order was the Cena from RA3 since I found leftovers in a store, but everything else from October 2022 looks like it got cancelled.

RIP to the Monday Night Wars line. I really wanted to have those figures.

October 5th is when we ordered these Walmart... What a trash company (for so many reasons beyond this). One of the key reasons Bed Bath and Beyond failed = terrible online presence

I'm glad everyone is bombarding Steve with Walmart issues.

I get it, for Steve it's probably getting annoying looking at all these questions. But come on, SOMETHING has to be done.

Revoke the mnw contract or whatever and just sell on Mattel creations. Does Mattel want happy consumers or a bad relationship with Walmart?

The tail wags the dog since TRU went under.  Walmart is almost certainly their largest account, and is buying a ton of figures each year.  They've been a nightmare for ages - constantly cancelling orders (Mean Gene BAF, Hollywood 2) or short ordering (Fan Central, Flashbacks).  I'm sure Steve has done and will continue doing what he can.  But at the end of the day, Walmart can get away with this crap, there's nothing Mattel can do except bend over backwards to try to keep a massive account happy, and we all continue to get stuff like this.
