The issue is patience. Everyone wants everything OMG RIGHT NOW FIRST YES.
Remember when the Target Ultimate Macho Man pre-orders sold out in 3 seconds? and people were getting alerts at 4AM for the in stock so they could just get it right away?
It's still in stock online today, and most stores have put it on clearance for less than $10
The POINT is patience. What happened with the Hollywood line was not the normal.

These are mass produced toys, made likely in the tens of thousands in quantity. How many times do people have to get pissed about cancelled pre-orders before they just stop doing it and wait until the products are actually in stock? because when they are, there's literally plenty for everyone.
The 2020 era where current figures were disappearing from store shelves instantly and being re-sold by scalpers online for triple the price is over.
So, your solution to RA figures is to order a random assortment in hopes to get the only 1 you want.
Have you ever returned something purchased online in Walmart? It's not that easy, they require you to go to a Fed ex store to drop it off.

A couple times one was for an item that was damaged in shipping (McFarlane Super Powers Superman) and the other was the wrong item.(work boots that were the wrong size) Both times I took them to my local WalMart. One I got reimbursed for and the other WM.com sent me the replacement once the store entered it into their system that they received my damaged figure.
