Pretty rough IMO. I get that Mattel can't dive deep into producing better attire since it's mass produced, but this should've been one where they at least did a little extra. The jacket looks so cheap.

Only thing I dislike is the torso, as it's my least favourite of the UE torsos. It looks awful and because of how wide the top portion is, it's impossible to get the arms down in a neutral position, and as a result they end up boeing out.

I really wanted this to top Jazzwares Supreme figures, but man I can't get over the blunder on that torso choice. Even the USOS had the same problem with he render showing the smaller UE torso and they swapped it with that Ric Flair one. Why the inconsistencies with the renders and figures?

The jacket looks awful. They had the jackets perfect on previous ultimates like Rousey, Nakamura, Bret etc. This is a huge step backwards. I hope Logan Paul’s ultimate is done better.

I think it’s just poor execution on the Cody. The upcoming DM Bret coat looks a lot better than the jakks style sleeve arms and rubber chest piece |

I just finished listening to a podcast Steve did yesterday, and he said if they did WM 39 Cody he’s sure they would have to do that coat in plastic form. And I’m here for it! My number one want right now.

The jacket looks absolutely awful. I was pulling for it but the finished execution is for 💩. The torso is a swing and miss as well. To that point the single UE ab crunch stinks! Mattel should have gone with the Hasbro route, include both ab crunch variations on future figures. Kudos on the butterfly joints though. Awesome range to perform pedigrees for one example.

glad i canceled. gonna wait for the reg UE release down the road. yea i agree the torso isnt the best choice . . but its not horrible. canceled? Ouch, certainly it's worth keeping to trade or help a member instead of a cancel? |

Yikes. This figure is absolutely brutal other than the packaging. Face scans blow. Coat is horrendous. Upper torso parts choice is cringeworthy. Nothing about this figure feels premium.
Mattel is really dropping the ball with Ultimates parts choices. It's WAY beyond time for them to invest in some additional upper body molds as Ultimates are now regularly disappointing and looking awkward in the torso department.
