glad i canceled. gonna wait for the reg UE release down the road. yea i agree the torso isnt the best choice . . but its not horrible. canceled? Ouch, certainly it's worth keeping to trade or help a member instead of a cancel? people itt saying they're selling/canceled this are the same dorks who would claim they canceled the WWE Network when some lame craphappened, but kept and are still watching. They bought multiples of this and have a shrine dedicated to this figure set up. |

They really should do all Ultimate jackets and coats like that outside maybe Macho. I canβt even imagine how crummy Warriorβs duster or Flairβs robes would be as plastic. π Personally, I really like the jacket... I prefer it done like this to the plastic/swappable arms coats (Edge, Bret etc). And I'll be the first to criticise UE torsos - but this looks pretty good to me. |

I watched a YouTube review. Very boring figure and the coat looks silly. Mustard yellow pants too.
I do have a bias though. I think kneepads, elbow pads, and wrist tape add a lot to a figure. Mattel is limited since Cody doesn't wear any of that (other than kneepads under his tights).

Based off Alex Wests video - I think the Jazwares Supreme fig wins on the jacket, boots mold, molded tights and the weight belt molded buckle. Everything else goes to Mattel. I canβt wait to get mine - and most likely Iβll track down a second as long as the price isnβt absolutely ridiculous.

Yo I think I just got a FedEx notification from Mattel Creations for an item coming next week! I havenβt ordered from Mattel directly for awhile, only preorders I have are this Cody and UE Logan Paul.
Anyone else get an email??

Iβll also add - on any further Cody Ultimates I hope they give him the Rick Rude torso. Cody is in phenomenal shape now compared to when he returned at WM 38. this right here. |

Now that they seem to be going all in on ultimates they need to invest in more parts and not just torsos. Some of these have been just lazy, poor in execution and downright terrible.

Really disappointed in the figure. The torso is horrible imo. I like Elite 101 more.
I donβt care much about reselling and am considering trying to cancel.

Gonna keep my Cody moc. The torso is terrible, the tights color is off. The heads a are great tho and I like the jacket even tho most donβt.

After seeing in-hand pics, the only thing keeping me wanting this is what it stands for and represents: his WrestleMania return.
Because if I look at the figure in a vacuum, it's really rough...
- Mattel refuses to make a good looking weight belt
- Ill-fitting screen printed baggy coat opposed to molded with replaceable arms (Ex: how they did Logan Paul)
- Tattoo should not be split between the neck and the jaw
- Torso looks strange
And yes, I preordered two. I don't regret preordering. I just wish Mattel rethought some things about this.
Packaging is still awesome.

I will receive this figure and admire the packaging, but thatβs probably about it. Canβt say that Iβll be too eager to plop down $50+ on anymore modern guys in UE form. I thought it would be neat to get Codyβs first, and I appreciate the open pre-order format, but I think this one will easily be surpassed by the next UE Cody figure whenever that may be. Lesson learned (if only that were true lol).
