Many housed so much history so figured we make a nice tribute thread here. Me being from Philly gotta start with The Spectrum... Home of my fav SSlam in 1990 and worst KOTR in 1995 . A true mecca for rasslin back in the day.Nothing like seeing a show there with a HOT crowd. I remember passing by it numerous times when they were tearing it down back in 2010/11 and feeling sad as it was a big part of my fandom back in the day. Wells Fargo is nice and all but it just isnt the same.

I liked how they had the Spectrum logo on the ring canvas during the televised house shows
Never was a fan though of Dick Graham in the booth. I'll always remember his famous line ''Dontcha just love it!''

Lots of great memories in the old barn when it comes to the Bruins, Celtics and of course the WWF. My first live event here was in June '89 with a Hogan-Savage main event. Savage won via CO, but in the end you know how it goes, Hogan must pose. Another memory is my uncle taking me and my cousin to Survivor Series '93. Getting out of school early was awesome even if the show itself wasn't the best. One thing I liked when seeing the Garden on TV was all the banners in the rafters. Later on I learned the reason there were so many Bruins banners was because they were jealous of the Celtics success. Red Auerbach would only hang a banner for a world championship and they won many, the Bruins would hang one for blowing their nose just to keep up.

It was said that there weren't any bad seats in the building. Well, that was very false since quite a few had this.

Savage beating Tito for the IC strap in 86 always comes to mind when I think of the ol' Boston Gahden
Plus I'll always have a soft spot for the Bruins as they were my dads fav team

Silverdome another one. WM III looked awesome.Wouldve been cool to see another one there at some point They ran quite a few house shows there with not so great gates. WWF @ Pontiac, MI - Silverdome - May 29, 1988 (1,800) Rick Martel & Tito Santana defeated Haku & High Chief Afi The One Man Gang pinned Bam Bam Bigelow Jake Roberts fought Rick Rude to a double count-out The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hercules Greg Valentine defeated George Steele via disqualification Don Muraco pinned Jim Neidhart Jim Duggan fought Andre the Giant to a double disqualification Probably configured for a smaller attendance, but ouch 1800.

Not the smartest move to host house shows in an 80k plus stadium. That's what the Joe and Cobo were for

For me, it has to be the old Meadowlands Arena/Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, NJ.
It was the venue that hosted SummerSlam in 1989 as well as 1997 which was the first PPV I ever attended live. My first-ever wrestling show also took place there which was part of a house show loop in July 1994 dubbed the "WWF Summer Sizzler Tour." Still have the picture of me and my brother sitting in our seats rocking some brand-new Hitman shades.

Where? Continental Airlines Arena? Where? The Izod Center!? Oh! You mean the old racetrack! But I always wanted to see the Sportatorium in Dallas, TX.

Also gotta shout out the Philly Civic center. WCWs spot back in the day when they came here. Hosted Havoc 89/92 and Slamboree 94. Also the spot where the Midnights beat Arn/Tully in 88

We used the have the Hara Arena, home of such classics as the 1993 King Of The Ring and ECW Heatwave. Hate that they tore it down but tornado damage did it no favors.
