Now that Vince is yeeted into the sun and a separate company owns WWE, are we closer to Owen Hart’s estate being open to making a deal with WWE? Wasn’t Owen’s wife refusing to allow Vince to profit off Owen’s name? I don’t know the story.

And on the flip side I don’t think Jazwares will ever to make Owen in any of his WWE attires. Just more line the ones they gave us. They can ask for permission,(jazzwares) and may get a better result without Vince, to create maybe black tights with pink trim and no logos. That's prolly our only chance if that. |

Vince still owns about 34% of the company so he is still making money from the company.
I think it depends. The odds were 0% before so Vince no longer having control helps, but is it enough?
With that being said, I wouldn't blame them if they never do a deal with WWE. Some of the comments about Martha that I've read on social media/wrestling sites are disgusting (all over an action figure).
On the flip side, I think the last thing TKO wants is to remind people that Owen died in the ring under the company that they now own. I really don't think it makes business sense for TKO to ever make a deal with them (regardless if we like it or not).

Not a damn chance. There aren't a whole lot of figures in WWE that are hard, 100% NO-GOs but Owen is one of them.

Honestly if turns out TKO nuke all people McMahon connected and buyout Vince completely, there's a chance I think. Especially if The Rock continues to gain power in WWE.

Eh, I highly doubt WWE figures of Owen are a high priority. I think we need to factor that there’s emotional baggage in this whole situation. I surely wouldn’t want a company that was responsible for my partner’s death to profit off of anything in any shape or form. I’m okay with not having a Owen Hart figure for now.

Best case scenario is Zombie is able to sign a deal with Martha and he does elite scale figures of him along with those Hasbro-style figs. He seems to exploit loopholes where he can do WWE owned looks. Like WM7 Macho he is saying is a match in Japan or Pillman is the period of time in between ECW & WWF.

Could you imagine how special a moment it would be when Vince is finally completely out and not making a dime off of WWE and hopefully in a hole somewhere in obscurity (either figuratively or literally) it’s the night before Mania and Owen FINALLY gets his hall of fame induction. The whole Hart clan is there with Bret and Martha and Owen’s children on the stage to accept it. Triple H, The Rock, and Mick Foley greeting and hugging Martha, a great video package of Owen plays. That would be a beautiful moment, screw figures, screw merch, she gets even more closure and the crowd is cheering her and thunderous chants of “Owen, Owen,Owen” happen. Please stop writing awful fanfic. Martha and her children have said the company will never make a dime off Owen as long as it’s their decision. And they’re gonna tell their children to keep the same attitude. It is never happening, buy a custom. |
