You mean Jakks it like it’s 1997. Yeah, I’d be fine with that. But I can imagine the incessant whining and complaining if it’s not a perfect replication of an attire they’re legally prohibited from using.

I actually think it's a lot *less* likely now -- even more proof that WWE is the worst of what Martha said...

The biggest thing that changed is Vince is gone. The letters wwf did not put Owen in a compromising situation, Vince did. Maybe Martha held a grudge against Vince. The creative team of the 90s is gone from wwf. No McMahon is involved with wwe these days.

I think Vinces departure may be the beginning of Martha coming around? I would think, if I were Martha, I want nothing to do with Vince after what he did to my family. Vince is gone now, and not just gone, but booted out and exposed. With Vince out, I dont see why Martha wouldn't put her husband back, in his well earned spot, as one of the stars on wwf.

I can see if McMahons still profit from wwe via stock being a reason though.

Vince stepped down, but he still owns something like 35-40% of the WWE. So he’s still there making money off the WWE. A Mattel Owen Hart still isn’t coming.

There’s definitely no harm in speculating but at some point one needs to accept reality and know this is one of those instances in wrestling where you can indeed say “never gonna happen” when it comes to a working relationship between WWE and Owen’s estate.

I made peace with that fact back in the early days of the Classic Superstars line. Would it be nice? Yeah. But any person that was a fan during the time of his passing and followed the aftermath knows that 99.9 percent that we won’t see an official Owen with “WWE” branding on the packaging. It’d be nice though. I genuinely enjoyed Owen’s ring work. And I used to love hearing Mick and Bret and those guys tell stories about him and how funny and great a guy he was. We were robbed of a great performer and wrestler and person, but more important, Martha and Oje and Athena were robbed of a Husband and Father…and it’s not like Eddie dying where it was in a sense “natural causes” the way Owen died…it was 100 PERCENT avoidable. As I said I don’t blame her one bit (I remember back years ago when some people would complain about Martha and call her a “bitch” because they couldn’t get their precious official Classic Superstars Owen Hart…some even…I hope jokingly…but sadly you can never be sure…because people suck…wishing she would meet an early demise so someone could take control of his and estate and give us that precious action figure!) and Martha is completely justified in saying “ WWE”. That said, IF they did repair the bridge and we got an Owen induction and celebration of his legacy, it would be great. But this is 99.9 percent not going to happen, it’s probably on the plane of likelihood of them celebrating Benoit. The difference is, Owen is a life worth celebrating, sadly on that June night, Chris made sure that his was a life not worth doing so.

A lot of people are familiar with the pink singlet, but Bret wore a black one that is VERY close to Owen's, too!

Worn on Superstars in late '93 for a promo. I would love at least a Basic of this look, if not an Elite. He even has the pink trim on the shorts! It would be as close as we could get to make it easy for customization.

I wonder if the Mattel guys (Action Figure Attack) are aware of this, because I always assumed Bret just wore the pink version of this.
