Wow bad choice by Ric. Just wait to see if they get you in a storyline leading up to WM, have your retirement match, and end your career on the grandest stage of them all. Hopefully all gets worked out and Flair can end his career where it belongs at WM 24.

Flair one of the big four Lmfao Austin Rock and Hogan? When saying it like that media wise none prolly know who the hell Flair is. I would say Taker but then again only a select few know who he is too You are joking, right? Austin, Hogan, Ric Flair, and The Rock all made huge marks on the wrestling business for the positive, above and beyond anyone else really. And given Rock's limited time in the ring, for him to be seen as that important is truly an accomplishment. But, right under those four you've got Taker, HBK, HHH, Foley, Sting, Goldberg, Warrior, and Kurt Angle....

Some of these replies make me sick. It's obvious most of you are too young to have appreciated how great Flair was...

To be fair, Warrior doesn't DESERVE to be in the same sentence.. but I can guarantee if you pull non-wrestling fans off the street and ask them about wrestling.... these will be the names that come up most (Barring Chris Benoit's and Eddie Gurrerro's, who's fame outside wrestling came after they passed).

Nah if you're gonna talk most recognizable names in wrestling it's Hogan, Austin, and The Rock. Everyone knows who they are. You could probably make a case for Goldberg, too. As far as Flair, Taker, Michaels, HHH, Foley, Sting, Angle, Warrior...no, just no. No one really knows who the hell they are outside of wrestling fans and maybe the families of wrestling fans.

I love Flair and everything he's accomplished throughout his career (he's one of my favorite wrestlers of all time). For a guy his age, he can run circles over many wrestlers half his age. There's been rumors for awhile that he's been wanting to pack things in and he was unhappy the way things have been going with the WWE lately. I was just hoping he'd make it to Wrestlemania 24 and ensure his legacy as one of the greatest of all time.

Flair was a great wrestler, but for the last few years he hasn't done many great matches. A lot of them are the same. I do have to admit, for a man his age he is still in great shape and can still do most of the moves.

If Flair does wind up in TNA, all I can say is this: It's a shame it didn't happen a year or so ago. It would've been great for Ric to have won the NWA Title one last time . . . .
But then again . . . . he could still take the NWA strap one last time. If things get bad enough for him, he might go the indy route and then take it off of that over-rated Danielson.
