WWE News: Ric Flair quits WWE, both sides trying to work things out By Wade Keller, Torch editor Sep 4, 2007, 21:40
Ric Flair quit WWE this week over frustration with his push and a lack of any encouraging communication from the front office.
His situation doesn't appear to be at all related to the suspensions, although he's now more valuable with some names being gone for a month.
If things don't work out, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Flair could be offered a sweet and tempting deal to be part of TNA's two hour launch. TNA is interested and aware of the situation.

Well thank god. Lets be honest Old Man Flair could barely string together a match and all of them were the same.
He's only working because in his hey day he didn't invest any money AND he got screwed over by his ex wife.
Now maybe he can be a road agent for once

He would be a great manager for a stable of heel rookies

Wow, that's random. I can't say I'll miss him, since he hasn't really contributed anything great since the fued with Foley last year.

Damn! It seems like WWE just LOVES to drive good talent over to TNA. At least it seems that way. I really hope Flair works this out with the company.

Whatever Flair does -- Flair pwnz!
he's my favorite wrestler (HBK and HHH follow closely in second and third), and him in TNA would boost things, I know it.
The 2001-2007 WWF/WWE run of Ric Flair has ended. Kinda lame. But now a new era can start!

Wow. Somewhat shocked by this one. Would be a nice pickup for TNA.

I was just about to post this. I'm all for TNA grabbing him if they get Two hour's and out of the iMPACT Zone.

Maybe this was the "Major Star" who was rumored to have given his notice to the company at the RAW taping?

That really sucks, I hope him and E work things out. His career is coming to a close and it shouldnt be like this. I hope he comes back with a push and has the grand Wrestlemania send off like he deserves. If a world title is vacted anytime soon, they should award it to him just until a new champ is crowned, so he can go off being the 17 time (WOOOOO!) worlds champion

I don't blame him for quitting. If Khali was being pushed more than me, I'd want to quit as well. I hope WWE can convince him to stay. If not, there's always TNA, right?
