It never ceases to amaze me how far these arguments about Cena go and how inaccurate they are most of the time. Cena had everything handed to him? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Rock get his spot in wrestling because his grandfather and father were stars in the business? And as far as Cena getting the belt after three years of, apparently, doing nothing, am I the only one that remembers Rock winning the WWE Championship at SUrvivor Series 1998, almost exactly TWO years after debuting. So in my opinion, the argument is invalid AND really has nothing to do with Cena's comments.

Who gives a **** what Cena thinks of Rocks choices regarding his wrestling and movie career. Cena has no business making any statements on this given the fact that he is in the same boat as Rock getting movie deals. But wait....the difference is Rock is and always will be a much bigger star & legend as a wrestler and lets face it as a movie star as well. Further more who gives anyone the right to question a man for expanding his horizons as a performer let alone sparing his body the aggravation wrestling takes on these performers bodies over their lives. Cena fans here is your reality....he sells merchandise and the asses in the seats do not know a good wrestler when they see one albeit "The Rock"..... Uhh..no they're not in the same boat. Cena is a full time wrestler( why else would people constantly complain about him?). The Rock hasn't stepped foot in a wrestling ring in almost 4 years. Big difference. |

Because I don't think he deserves what he's gotten, and I have every right to that opinion without being called an idiot. Well then tell me who DID deserve to end JBL's nine-month title reign? No one. He should have kept it until he retired. |

I  ing hate it when Austin or Foley comes back just to promote a book or something. That the Rock is staying away actually helps his legacy as keeping yourself elusive makes the fans want him back more. You never miss anything until it's gone. Oh sure Austin and Foley love the business... when they have something to plug. At least The Rock isn't tarnishing his legacy. |

I like The Rock a lot more as a wrestler, but I think Cena is absolutely right. Rock should at least make a couple appearances a year, is that too much to ask?

Honestly people just don't really care that much about Foley & Austin appearances anymore it's just not special and the pops get smaller and smaller everytime, when The Rock returns for Wrestlemania weekend it will be something special.
The Rock doesn't owe anything to the wrestling business, he gave as much (more actually) back to it when he was the top guy probably more so than any face of the WWE ever.
