Matt Hardy in MITB is win, hope he wins the match tbh. Main event was great, though the ending was disapointing.

Mr. Kennedy’s injury has been a major blow to WWE’s WrestleMania plans. Kennedy was being pushed to go over Shawn Michaels at the event, but due to the injury plans have now been changed. Michaels will still be involved in a match, possible with Randy Orton or John Bradshaw Layfield.
Despite Kennedy’s injury expect him to make a non wrestling appearance at WrestleMania. It has yet to be decided in what role he will feature though.
WWE have signed Frankie Kazarian to a written contract. Kazarian is expected to head straight to the main roster, and be used in the cruiserweight division on SmackDown.

25th February 2008The RAW opening package aired, followed by Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler running down tonight’s card, and announcing that Mr. Kennedy has picked up an injury, and will not be back until after WrestleMania. The show kicked off with Triple H, who made his way to the ring to a chorus of “You Suck” chants from the crowd. Triple H cut a promo on WrestleMania, and how he will defend the title against Ric Flair. Triple H talked about how he may respect Ric Flair, but that he will not give up the WWE championship that easy, despite it being Ric Flair’s final match. Triple H then announced that heading into Mania he will show his respect to Flair by allowing him to make it there in one piece. Charlie Haas Defeated Hardcore HollyThe fans are really starting to react to Haas, who continues to play his new cocky gimmick well. Haas controlled this match, but Holly would not go down easily, and it took a lot for Haas to take him out. Haas managed to escape an Alabama Slam, and hit the Haastile Takeover for the three count. It’s Time! Gregory Helms returns to the WWE soon! Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch Defeated The HighlandersA decent match, although it was nothing special. Cade & Murdoch looked back to their best, and really dominated this match, and quickly hit Rory with the High Low for the pinfall victory. Randy Orton was backstage with Interviewer Eva Torres. Orton cut a promo on how he lost his drive when he lost the WWE Championship, but that he is now ready to dominate again, and that the Legend Killer is truly back. Money in the Bank Qualifier John Morrison Defeated Paul LondonAn excellent interbrand match that saw two superstars that are really exciting to watch. Morrison put on the star performance here and the crowd were really against him from the start. Morrison focused on using technical move while London used a high risk offence to keep Morrison guessing. London’s style would work against him however when he missed a 450 splash allowing Morrison to hit the corkscrew Neckbreaker for the win and entry into the Money in the Bank match. Please Welcome Bruiser Brody to the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2008!Ric Flair is backstage getting ready for his match when Maria walked past. Flair immediately stopped getting ready and started flirting with Maria. After several minutes Santino Marella walked by, told Flair to back off and left with Maria. Shawn Michaels Defeated Santino MarellaThis was surprisingly and excellent match, although it was apparent that Michaels was carrying the match. Maria was at ringside, once again wearing revealing clothing, which seemed to put Marella off. Michaels controlled a lot of the match, although there were parts that saw Marella take it to Shawn in a rough fashion. Michaels ended up sending Marella to the fround, and quickly followed it up with the Sweet Chin Music for the three count. Post match as Michaels celebrated in the ring Randy Orton came from behind and attacked him. Orton laid into Michaels, and nailed him with the RKO. Orton then went outside and grabbed a steel chair. After nailing Michaels several times with it he followed up with another RKO, this time onto the chair. Orton left, with Michaels left bleeding in the ring. John Cena returns to RAW… Soon!Ric Flair Defeated John Bradshaw LayfieldA good main event which saw two contrasting styles go at it. The crowd was 100% behind Flair from the start to the finish, and just booed whenever JBL hit a move. JBL used his strength advantage to control the early parts of the match, but the second half saw Flair come back hitting some vicious chops and working away at JBL’s legs. Flair looked close to getting the win when JBL nailed him with a stiff big boot, and went outside the ring to grab a chair. JBL nailed Flair with the chair getting himself disqualified. Post match JBL continued the assault on JBL, and was quickly backed up by Santino Marella, still obviously angry about Flair flirting with Maria earlier in the show. JBL and Marella continued the assault when Triple H’s music hit, much to the shock of the crowd. Triple H made his way to the ring brandishing a sledgehammer. Instead of going after Flair he stopped the assault by nailing Marella with the sledgehammer, while JBL slipped out of the ring. As RAW came to an end Flair and Triple H shared an uneasy look while JBL made his way up the ramp.

Excellent RAW. Morrison in MITB spices things up nicely, and his match with London sounded great. Glad Haas is getting a push, and HBK/Marella sounded good. Orton demolishing HBK will lead to awesome things. Glad to see Cena back soon, and the main event was pretty good.

RAW was really good this week! I like the build up for HHH/Flair, I just hope Triple H wins. The first two matches were typical RAW matches really with no purpose but that's ok. I'm glad John Morrison is in the MITB. Bruiser Brody in the Hall of Fame is really good, from what I've heard about him. The HBK/Marella match sounded great! The ending was nicely done, as was the Main Event. Overall, good RAW man, the diary continues to impress.

Raw was a good read this week. Every match was detailed and just great. Glad Bruiser Brody is going to be in the HOF. Love the build up with Triple H and Ric Flair. If any one should end Flair's career it should be him or Michaels. Atleast you are doing somethine different. Keep up the good work. Reply to TNA 2008?

26th February 2008The ECW opening package aired, followed by Tazz and Joey Styles running down tonight’s card. Shelton Benjamin’s music hit, and he made his way to the ring to a good reaction from the fans, who are really starting to get behind him now. Benjamin cut a promo on his match at WrestleMania 24 and that he intends to win the ECW heavyweight title, but that tonight he will prove he is the Gold Standard of the WWE by beating the United States Champion Finlay. Sean Morley Defeated Stevie RichardsThis was pretty much a squash match. Richards got in some good offence early on, but Morley quickly took control, and hit Richards with the Knockout, followed by the pinfall. Hell wouldn’t take them. The Devil’s Rejects are coming to WWE!Elijah Burke Defeated The BoogeymanA rare appearance by the Boogeyman didn’t impress. Burke had to carry this match, which he did well, actually making the match watchable. The fans are really getting tired of Boogeyman, so it was a godsend when he was put away after the Elijah Express. Kane’s music hit as Kane made his way to the ring, receiving a huge reaction from the crowd in the process. Kane cut a short promo on the Big Show’s attack and challenge for a match at WrestleMania 24. Kane then accepted the challenge, to a huge reaction from the fans. Shelton Benjamin Defeated FinlayAn interbrand main event to finish this week’s edition of ECW, and what a main event it was. The two contrasting styles really made for a great match, with Finlay focusing on using hard hitting power moves and stiff shots, while Benjamin’s unpredictable style continued to keep him in control. The match went back and forth for a good fifteen minutes when Finlay went for Celtic Cross, while Benjamin reversed it, and hit a devastating Knee-up Bulldog for the pinfall victory. As ECW went off the air the ECW Heavyweight Champion CM Punk came out onto the ramp. Punk did a sarcastic clap as Benjamin signaled for the gold.

29th February 2008The SmackDown opening video aired, followed by Michael Cole & Jonathan Coachman running down tonight’s card. Shane McMahon kicked off the show, much to the shock of the crowd. Shane made his way to the ring to a mixed reaction, and cut a promo on WrestleMania, and the current situation with The Undertaker and Umaga. Shane announced the it is now official, the two will go one on one in an interbrand match at Mania. Shane then announced that he has a big announcement to make next week, and that the entire SmackDown roster better show up. Kane Defeated Kenny DykstraWhat looked like a squash actually turned into an excellent Power V. Speed style match. Kane came out strong, dominating the early parts of this match, but when Dykstra finally got a chance to fight back he took it, hitting some quick moves and targeting the right leg of Kane. Dykstra went for the superkick but Kane stopped it, and hit Dykstra with the Chokeslam for the pinfall. Post match Kane started shouting “Big Show, your Next!” Matt Sydal and Ashley are backstage with SmackDown interviewer Max Bretos. Bretos asked Sydal if he had found a partner for the upcoming tag match, to which Sydal introduced ‘The Future’ Kazarian. Kazarian told people to get ready, because there will be new Cruiserweight champion soon enough. Matt Sydal & Kazarian Defeated Chavo Guerrero & Jamie NobleThe debut of Kazarian definitely impressed the fans in attendance. This was an incredible tag team match, and really displayed why the cruiserweight division is getting more airtime. Noble looked particularly good, hitting some incredible moves. Noble proved the difference maker in the end, turning on Chavo and hitting him with a Tiger Driver. Kazarian followed up with the Wave of the Future for the win. Max Bretos caught up with Jamie Noble backstage, asking him about why he turned on Chavo. Noble cut a promo about how everyone looks down on him, but that from now on Noble is looking after number one. Money in the Bank Qualifier Montel Vontavious Porter Defeated Chuck PalumboA surprisingly good match, although it was clear that MVP was carrying it. Palumbo looked good early on, connecting with some strong power moves, but as the match went on fatigue seemed to set it. MVP capitalized on this though, hitting some great moves, and finished Palumbo off with the Playmaker for the win, and entry into the money in the bank match. Post match MVP grabbed a microphone and demanded that Finlay grant him his rematch for the United States championship next week on SmackDown. Instead of Finlay all MVP got was Matt Hardy, who told MVP that he was the rightful contender to the United States title, and that if MVP wants a title match, then he has to go through Hardy first. MVP accepted the challenge, and the two will go one on one in a number one contenders match on next week’s edition of SmackDown! WrestleMania 24 … 31 days! Umaga Defeated a LocalThe Local was actually CZW star Drake Younger, although it was obvious that none of the crowd knew him. Umaga destroyed Younger, putting him away in under a minute after the Samoan Spike. Post Match Umaga grabbed a microphone and cut a promo. Although nobody could understand what he was saying part of the promo was noatable - “Undertaker, WrestleMania, you are done” Please welcome Bruiser Brody to the class of 2008!Edge & Rey Mysterio Defeated Chris Jericho & BatistaAn excellent main event that had a controversial ending. The match saw two feuds collide, and it was obvious who wanted who in this match. Edge and Jericho had some excellent exchanges, and really displayed what they could pull off at WreslteMania. Batista was the downer of this match, he just didn’t seem up to his usual standard, and could not keep up with the other three superstars. A shock ending came when the referee was knocked out, followed by the Edgeheads making the run in. Batista left the ring to deal with the Edgeheads, giving Edge and Mysterio the opportunity to double team Jericho. Edge ended up nailing Jericho with a chair, and followed up with the Spear for the pinfall. SmackDown came to an end with a 4 on 2 assault by Edge, Rey Mysterio and the Edgeheads on Chris Jericho & Batista. Edge stands tall over a bloodied Chris Jericho as SmackDown goes off the air.

Smackdown was a solid show, good storyline development, and good matches all around. Shane McMahon's opening announcement was a good one, but I am hoping Umaga/Taker is turned into a No DQ match, it would make it better. Cannot wait to see Shane's announcement next SD. Dykstra/Kane was a good match, glad you gave Kenny some substance here, and not squash him. MVP/Palumbo was alright but pretty meh, Hardy/MVP is one to look forward to though. Kazarian debuting was sweet, glad he picked up the win. The main event was awesome, shame Batista didn't carry his own too well, and Mysterio working with Edge is pretty interesting, the little mexicans will be sad
