I can't really leave that good of a reply but I'll do my best since you've done a great job with this.
First off your write-ups are top notch great stuff and your show's and newswires are a good read, I love the way you've been booking Davey so far and glad he's still champion to this point and hope he has a lengthy reign. Your shows are really well set out and easy to read, all the anniversary shows were good, keep it up.

Really loving this diary man, loving you give Lacey's Angels the win but I can't help wonder what has happened to Lacey.
I hope Jimmy Jacobs makes strong run at the ROH Title only for him to lose but not to Davey Richards. Hope to see Richards drop the strap to maybe Claudio because he a good face or even if need be to Nigel McGuinesss.
Really saddend that Jimmy Rave is injured but I hope when he comes back that he will win the ROH Title before or after Jacobs or even if possible get Alex Shelley or some other superstar that Rave has a history with to win the ROH Tag belts.
This diary is good and I'll be reading up on it. It looks like the 6th anniversary shows were extremely sucessful.

ROH Newswire
April 16th: The stars of Dragon Gate will return to Ring of Honor for All Star Extravaganza IV & Supercard of Honor III. At All Star Extravaganza IV Dragon Gate & NOAH will team up for a special All-Star Eight Man Tag Team match. Bryan Danielson, Delirious, Jimmy Rave & Austin Aries will team together to take on KENTA, Takeshi Morishima, Naruki Doi & Ryo Saito! At Supercard of Honor; Dragon Kid, Naruki Doi & Masato Yoshino will face KENTA, Naomichi Marufuji & Go Shiozaki. These are two huge main event matches and we here at ROH cannot wait to see them!
April 16th: Davey Richards will have a tough weekend, at All Star Extravaganza he will defend the ROH World Title against Nigel McGuiness. Nigel will be looking to bounce back after a string of losses to Jimmy Jacobs and could prove to be a formidable opponent for Richards. At Supercard of Honor he will defend the belt against the man that gets the pin fall in the All Star Extravaganza Eight Man Tag Match. Davey will have to prepare for all eight possible opponents if he wants to stand a chance of retaining his title.
Ring of Honor ROH All Star Extravaganza IV April 29th, 2008- 7:00 pm belltime Manahttan Centre 311 West 34th St. New York, NY 10001 Tickets are available at www.rohwrestling.com or www.Tickets.com as well as calling 215-781-2500.
Current Line up: All Star Extravaganza: Team NOAH/Dragon Gate vs. Team ROH ROH World Title Match: Davey Richards © vs. Nigel McGuinness ROH World Tag Team Title Match: The Briscoe’s © vs. Lacey’s Angels Four Corner Survival: Featuring El Generico, Chris Hero, Ruckus & Rocky Romero! Naomichi Marufuji & Go Shiozaki vs. BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs Mike Quackenbush vs. Roderick Strong Erick Stevens & Matt Cross vs. Fast & Furious Eddie Kingston vs. Kevin Steen
April 16th: Tyler Black & Brent Albright defeated three other teams in Ultimate Endurance to earn their shot, and now the Angels will face Jay & Mark Briscoe with the belts on the line. Black & Albright will once again be without manager Lacey who has been conspicuous by her absence as of late, however they will try to put that aside as they face ROH’s Tag Team Division standout’s The Briscoe’s.
April 16th: Tag Team Warfare continues in ROH as Eddie Kingston squares off against Kevin Steen in singles competition. The BLKOUT eliminated Steen & Generico in Ultimate Endurance through nefarious means and Steen will be looking for revenge on BLKOUT “leader” Eddie Kingston. Also, one member from four of ROH’s top teams will face one another in Four Corner Survival. Chris Hero of The King’s of Wrestling, El Generico of Steen & Generico, Ruckus of the BLKOUT & Rocky Romero of The Havana Pitbulls will square off with all four men looking for victory and a possible World Tag Team title shot in the near future.
April 16th: After suffering a vicious beat down at the hands of Ring of Honor duo BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs, Go Shiozaki will get another chance at revenge as he teams with fellow NOAH competitor Naomichi Marufuji. Jacobs & Whitmer have thus shown Shiozaki anything but Honor, Shiozaki will have a chance to rectify that with a victory in tag team competition.
April 16th: Roderick Strong has been on a fairly large losing streak since returning, he’ll have another opportunity to get back on track when he faces Mike Quackenbush. Quackenbush has had several impressive performances as of late and will look to continue against Strong on the 29th.

I'm on the shitty computer in the room right now, and I'm about to go out with a friend. I'll read the last few shows and throw a reply down when I get home, when I can use the good computer.
Sorry for the delay

ROH: All Star Extravaganza IV (April 19th; Manhattan, NY)
-Before the show Bryan Danielson proclaimed himself captain for team ROH, he was interrupted by Jimmy Rave. Rave questioned why Danielson would think he’s captain. Danielson ignored Rave’s question and asked why his former tag team partner attacked him on Night Six of ROH’s Sixth Year Celebration. Rave & Danielson squared up and nearly came to blows however they were interrupted by Aries & Delirious who told them to calm down and focus on the match ahead.
Fast & Furious def. Erick Stevens & Matt Cross Cross and Stevens have gelled well together as a team, and put on a good tag team display with Jay Fury & Jerrelle Clark here. They did their job out there to warm with crowd up with a fast paced, fun match. Eventually Fury & Clark picked up the win after a brief moment of miss-communication between Stevens & Cross.
Eddie Kingston def. Kevin Steen Very heated match, both men worked the audience well and managed to create a great environment. Lots of good brawling throughout, the match never slowed down and kept the fans entertained from beginning to end. Steen nearly gained the win with the Swanton however it would be Kingston picking up the victory with a Lariat following interference from Ruckus.
-After the match the BLKOUT attacked and beat down Steen until Generico rushed to the ring. The two teams brawled with The Havana Pitbulls & King’s of Wrestling rushing to the ring and joining the Chaos. Eventually Claudio, Reyes, Kingston, Sabian & Steen fought to the back leaving the remaining four to compete in their scheduled Four corner Survival Match.
Four Corner Survival: El Generico def. Chris Hero, Ruckus & Rocky Romero Really food stuff here, the match started with the brawling but eventually settled down. All four guys had their chances of taking victory; Hero nearly gained the victory after connecting with the Cravate Neckbreaker on Romero. Romero nearly gained the win when he locked Ruckus in the Diablo Arm Bar. Ruckus nearly gained victory with the Razzle Dazzle and Standing Moonsault on Generico. However it would be Generico gaining the victory with the Top Rope Brainbuster on Chris Hero.
Naomichi Marufuji & Go Shiozaki def. BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs Marufuji & Shiozaki have ridiculous amounts of talent and put them to good use here in a great tag team display with Whitmer & Jacobs. Jacobs has just amped up his game since his most recent heel turn and really gelled well with both Shiozaki & Marufuji here. As the pace picked up so did the near falls with both Jacobs & Whitmer nearly gaining victory for their team with the Spear & Exploder respectively. It would be Shiozaki who eventually got the win after hitting Whitmer with the Go Flasher.
--Intermission--
-During intermission Tyler Black & Brent Albright claimed they would win the Tag Team titles even without Lacey.
--End Intermission--
Mike Quackenbush vs. Roderick Strong ended in disqualification Decent match until the finish, the crowd continue to adore antagonising Roderick Strong which made for some comedy as Strong tried to shut them up. Quack dominated for the most part countering any offence Strong tried to amount. He came close to victory with the BTS and La Quackica but Strong somehow held on. Then it came, the finish that saw Strong snap and relentlessly attack Quackenbush before hitting the Gibson Driver onto a Steel Guard rail. The fans did not like the finish, they did not like that Quack took such a nasty bump despite his history of back injuries. The only thing it managed to achieve was to get Strong some needed Heel Heat.
ROH World Tag Team Title Match: The Briscoe’s © def. Brent Albright & Tyler Black A really good tag team contest, Albright & Black have come a long way as a team since last year and The Briscoe’s continue to improve. Albright dominated the match coming close to victory for Lacey’s Angel’s on a multitude of occasions, hitting Mark with a Half Nelson Suplex and later locking him in the Crowbar. Jay would make the save on both occasions and would come close to victory himself after nailing Tyler Black with a Death Valley Driver and Leg Drop combination. The fans were red hot for the finish, which saw all four men trade signature moves finishing with Tyler Black hitting the Small Package Driver on Jay only for him to kick out. The Briscoe’s would later scrape a victory when they nailed Black with the Springboard Doomsday Device.
ROH World Title Match: Davey Richards © def. Nigel McGuinness Richards and Nigel McGuinness had an average match here, the fans would have felt slightly let down by it but something between Richards & McGuinness just didn’t click here. The match was fine, just below the standard of Richards most recent title matches. Both men tried to pick up the pace towards the end with Richards kicking out of the Tower of London and both men coming up with some innovative counters to the others finishing moves. The finish eventually saw Richards avoid the Rebound Lariat and connect with a Tombstone Piledriver. He transitioned into the Kimura Lock which gained the submission victory.
All-Star Extravaganza: Team ROH (Bryan Danielson, Delirious, Jimmy Rave & Austin Aries) def. Team NOAH/Dragon Grate (Takeshi Morishima, KENTA, Ryo Saito & Naruki Doi) Great stuff throughout. All four guys put on star performances and help build an early MOTYC. Danielson & Rave didn’t co-exist at all and eventually things broke down between them leading to a brawl on the floor. Danielson also had several heated exchanges with Takeshi Morishima. At one point he and Rave would lock Morishima in their former finishing combination of the Heel Hook and Cattle Mutilation. That would not finish things off, and neither would Naruki Doi when he hit Aries with the Doi 555. Delirious would eventually pick up the victory over Ryo Saito with the Shadows over Hell & Cobra Stretch combination, earning himself one last shot against nemesis Davey Richards.
-After the match Team ROH extended their hands to their NOAH and Dragon Gate opponents. The sportsmanship would not last long though as Takeshi Morishima & Bryan Danielson began to brawl after the bell, Jimmy Rave would also get involved before Aries, Delirious, KENTA, Doi, Saito as well as security where able to separate them.

ROH NewswireApril 30th: Last night Delirious forced Ryo Saito to tap to the Cobra Stretch and now Delirious will do battle once more against rival Davey Richards with the ROH World Title on the line. Richards managed to scrape through their previous title encounter and will try to do the same tonight in what should be one hell of a grudge match. April 30th: For months now Jimmy Jacobs has been on a quest to reach his “Ultimate Goal” whilst we may not know what that is, we do know Jacobs has targeted Nigel McGuinness as a way of reaching it. Jacobs has managed to defeat Nigel in singles action on two separate occasions, and they will do battle for a third and final time in a Fight without Honor. Nigel will be looking to gain retribution for the brutal beat down he received on Night 3 of our Sixth Year Celebration shows, whilst Jacobs will be looking to rack up another impressive victory and come one step closer to his “Ultimate Goal”. Ring of Honor ROH Supercard of Honor III April 30th, 2008- 7:00 pm belltime Manahttan Centre 311 West 34th St. New York, NY 10001
Tickets are available at www.rohwrestling.com or www.Tickets.com as well as calling 215-781-2500.Current Line up: Dragon Gate Rules: Dragon Gate vs. Pro Wrestling NOAH ROH World Title, Grudge Match: Davey Richards © vs. Delirious Special Attraction Match: Takeshi Morishima vs. Bryan Danielson Fight Without Honor: Nigel McGuinness vs. Jimmy Jacobs Four Corner Survival: Featuring Jimmy Rave, Matt Cross, Erick Stevens & Claudio Castagnoli! Mike Quackenbush vs. Chris Hero The BLKOUT vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico Havana Pitbulls vs. Brent Albright & Tyler Black April 30th: Bryan Danielson was involved in a heated confrontation after the All Star Extravaganza match last night with former partner Jimmy Rave and rival Takeshi Morishima. Morishima and Danielson have squared off several times since the beginning of the year and will do so once more at Supercard of Honor. Danielson will have his work cut out for him as Morishima has proven to be a tough opponent in the past, however the American Dragon must also have eyes in the back of his head as Jimmy Rave is still out for revenge after taking a loss to Dragon at Final Battle 2007. April 30th: On Night 6 of out Sixth Year Celebration Kevin Steen & El Generico were unjustly eliminated by the BLKOUT, that injustice continued last night as Ruckus aided BLKOUT leader Eddie Kingston to a victory over Steen in singles competition. Those two teams will now face off tonight in tag team action with Steen & Generico looking to right the wrongs done to them at the hands off the BLKOUT. April 30th: Tyler Black & Brent Albright have developed quite the rivalry with the Havana Pitbulls in the absence of manager Lacey. They have faced off several times in the past few months and will do battle one last time with the winner getting a shot at the ROH World Tag Team titles. Albright and Black lost to the Briscoe’s last night and would love another shot, as would Romero & Reyes who teamed with the Briscoe’s at the tail end of last year to battle the invading force the BLKOUT.

ROH: Supercard of Honor III (April 20th; Edison NJ)-Davey Richards cut a promo before the show complaining about having to defend the title belt against Delirious once again. Richards said tonight he’ll defeat Delirious and prove he’s better than him once more.Four Corner Survival: Jimmy Rave def. Matt Cross, Erick Stevens & Claudio CastagnoliGreat choice for an opener, and these guys all delivered. Whilst the match was designed to put Rave over and give him a safe match to work after returning from injury it also helped elevate Cross & Stevens a notch with good performances of established main eventers and mid carders like Castagnoli & Rave. Finish saw Rave force Stevens to tap to the Heel Hook following a slight moment of miscommunication between Stevens & Cross. -After the match Erick Stevens & Cross argued.Brent Albright & Tyler Black def. Havana PitbullsReally strong tag match, these two teams picked up the pace after their last encounter and they seemed to gel better here than they have in their previous matches. Albright once again looked like an absolute beast as he threw Romero & Reyes around with various suplexes. Black has also improved his in ring game and continues to grow as a performer. Lots of false finishes towards the end, Romero came closest to victory with a Tombstone on Black. Eventually Albright and Black hit a Dropkick/Half Nelson suplex combination for victory. -Before the following match Larry Sweeney claimed Mike Quackenbush was too lazy to show up tonight to face Chris Hero. He would demand Hero be added to the World Title match between Delirious & Davey Richards later on, however that request would not be granted as Austin Aries came to the ring, dressed to compete. He informed Hero that Quackenbush was out of action due to Roderick Strong’s attack last night, and that he would be replacing Quackenbush in their scheduled match.Austin Aries def Chris HeroThese two have chemistry off the charts, and it showed here. Aries was dominated by Hero for large portions which helped Hero look strong, something that hasn’t been true for quite some time in ROH. These two were given quite a fair amount of time and it let the match really develop into something special. The crowd were red hot as Aries made his usual comeback, he would come close to victory with the boot to the head/brainbuster combination but Hero kicked out before three. Later Hero would lock in the Hangman’s Clutch but Aries refused to give. It looked like Hero may take the victory after a bog boot but Aries managed to stay on his feet and come back at Hero with the Roaring elbow. He’d go onto hit a second brainbuster, and this time the 450 giving him the victory. Kevin Steen & El Generico def. The BLKOUTThese two teams continued their feud here with an average encounter. Both teams failed to really capture the imagination with this bout and at times it seemed as if they were going through the motions. Highlight of the match saw El Generico hit his diving tornado DDT deal on the floor as Steen hit Ruckus with the Package Piledriver in the ring for victory. -After the match The remaining BLK OUT members attacked Steen and Generico leaving them spread eagled on the mat.--Intermission---During intermission Nigel McGuinness cut a promo saying he didn’t care about Jacobs’ quest, or his goal. He said Jacobs made this feud personal whether he meant it to or not. McGuinness said tonight he’s not in it to win it. He’s in it to kill Jimmy Jacobs.--End intermission--Fight Without Honor: Nigel McGuinness def. Jimmy JacobsJacobs and McGuinness had a very high impact, and bloody match here than the fans enjoyed every second of. For the most part Jacobs was dominated and thrown around by Jacobs however Jacobs picked his spots and it looked like he might pick up the victory with the Spear. Spot of the match saw Nigel inadvertently lariat the ring post as Jacobs moved out the way. This lead to Jacobs working over the arm, placing a chair around it looking to do more damage; this would be his downfall as Nigel would connect with a modified Rebound Lariat, chair and all which gained him the victory over Jacobs. -After the match a bloody Jimmy Jacobs told Nigel that defeating him meant nothing. Jacobs rambled on saying nothing will stop him from reaching his Ultimate Goal. He continued to ramble until Nigel re-entered the ring and gave Jacobs one last Lariat for good measure. The fans cheered approvingly.Takeshi Morishima def. Bryan DanielsonGreat stuff here as you’d expect, the rivalry between these two could have played out better but they really sold it here and things got very heated very quickly. Morishima tried to injure Danielson’s arm as Bryan just tried to survive and pick his spots. In some respects it was a little too much like Jacobs/McGuinness without the weapons however some of the strikes and holds Danielson busted out to take and keep Morishima down where extraordinary are noteworthy on their own. They teased a Dragon victory on several occasions as he locked in the Cattle Mutilation and busted out some MMA Elbows. Morishima survived them all and eventually but Danielson away two consecutive Backdrop Drivers. ROH World Title Match: Davey Richards © def. DeliriousIn his four month reign as champion, Davey Richards has managed to get the crowd solidly against him in every possible way. Delirious is the polar opposite and the guy everyone wants to see regain the belt against his former partner. That emotional investment made this match, and even though in the ring work isn’t always spectacular or as good as either man can produce it simply didn’t matter. Richards try to avoid Delirious at every turn before being forced to fight, he used every heel manoeuvre and shortcut in the book to try and walk out with the belt but every shortcut he tried he was cut off and it truly felt like Delirious’ night. When the Lizard man finally hit the Shadows over Hell and locked in the Cobra Stretch everyone thought it was over but somehow Davey hung on. When Delirious hit the Chemical Imbalance II after countering Davey’s hand spring kick everyone thought he had victory. It was not to be and after barely surviving the very best of Delirious’ attacks Richards hit the D.R Driver and applied the Kimura Lock for a very narrow win. Dragon Gate Rules: KENTA, Naomichi Marufuji & Go Shiosaki def. Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino & Dragon KidFast paced high impact and fun are all words to describe this match. KENTA matched up very well with Doi and they had some extremely good exchanges throughout, Shiosaki was also very impressive coming close to victory with a bridging German suplex hold which he seems to have adopted as a secondary finisher in ROH. Dragon Kid like wise came close to victory for his team when he hit the Dragonrana on Marufuji but Naomichi kicked out. It would be Marufuji and KENTA who finally put Team Dragon Gate to rest when they hit their Powerbomb/Shiranui combination on Yoshino.

Claudio and El Generico have had much success in their respective tag teams and have both been at the forefront in the tag team warfare that has currently developed in ROH. ROH: Road to the Title 2008 (May 10th; Hartford, CT)-Before the show Jimmy Rave cut a promo about Bryan Danielson. He claimed Danielson started all this competitiveness between then last year and now he [Jimmy Rave] will prove why he was the captain of their tag team, and why he is the Best in the World.Erick Stevens & Matt Cross def. Eddie Edwards and Bobby FishHot little opener here, Edwards and Fish impressed in their performance and came close to getting victory on one or two occasions. The fans started to get behind them towards the end however the wind was let out of their sales as Cross and Stevens hit their Stomp/TKO combination for the victory. Qualifying Match: Chris Hero w/ Larry Sweeney def. Kevin SteenHero and Steen had an almost career defining match here, both brought out the best in each other and really shined in a great first half match. Sweeney played his part on the outside as Steen and Hero did theirs on the inside. After some initial stalling they picked up the pace and had a very climatic finish that saw Hero counter his way out of the Package Piledriver and lock in the Hangman’s Clutch for a sub mission victory. -After the match Generico came down to check on his partner until Hero jumped him. Claudio joined in the fray beginning his scheduled match with Generico early.El Generico def. Claudio Castagnoli w/Larry SweeneyReally fast paced fun here, Generico survived an early onslaught from Castagnoli before making a comeback. He came close to victory with the Yakuza in the corner and looked to set Claudio up for the Brainbuster. Claudio would counter dumping Generico to the mat before connecting with a diving European Uppercut of the ropes. He looked to have victory all wrapped up with the Ricola Bomb but Generico countered with an insane Yoshi-Tonic esque move. He would only get a two count from that effort but put Claudio away with the Brainbuster to Sweeney’s dismay. -After the match Generico cleared the ring and made belt motions around his waist signalling he and Steen intend on taking the Briscoe’s World Tag Team Titles.ROH World Tag Team Title Match: The Briscoe’s © def. Naomichi Marufuji & Go ShiosakiHell of a tag team contest here, really hard hitting, fast paced and exciting. The Briscoe’s brought their very best here and gelled extremely well with Marufuji and Shiosaki. Go did not look out of place here and nearly took victory with a German Suplex Hold which has become almost an adopted finisher here in ROH. Marufuji had a nice exchange with Jay that saw Naomichi hit a huge Superkick only for Jay to get back to his feet and connect with a big kick of his own. Highlight of the match saw Marufuji hit the Shiranui on Mark only for Jay to make a split second save to keep the belts around Briscoe waists. Eventually Jay and Mark would hit their stride and after a Splash Mountain Neckbreaker combination they would connect with the Spiked J-Driller on Go for the victory. --Intermission---During intermission Davey Richards cut a promo saying he’s beaten all comers and proved to the world he has what it takes to be ROH World Champion. Richards mocked Delirious before targeting his opponents in Four Corner Survival tonight.--End Intermission--FIP World Title Match: Austin Aries © def. Roderick StrongAustin Aries and Roderick Strong had a really good match here; Strong dominated the early going working over Aries back. Aries made his traditional comeback hitting the Slingshot Corkscrew Splash and Lionsault combination. Aries came close with both pinning attempts that followed and would maintain control. He looked to put Strong away with the Brainbuster but Strong countered, tripped Aries to the mat and applied the Stronghold for a good false finish. Aries fought his way out of it and would go onto hit the Roaring Elbow. Strong replied with a big boot before connecting with the Gibson Driver for a 2.9 count. Strong snapped and tried to bring a chair into play, Aries managed to dropkick it back into his face before connecting with the Brainbuster and 450 Splash for the victory. -After the match Strong attacked Aries during his celebration before dragging him to the floor to continue the assault. Strong re-positioned one of the steel guard rails as he looked to perform the Gibson Driver on Aries onto the rail. He set him up but before he could do so Mike Quackenbush made the save coming from the crowd. He ran Strong off before helping Aries to his feet.Qualifying Match: Takeshi Morishima def. DeliriousMorishima just about killed Delirious here, the former ROH World Champion could do very little to stop Morishima’s offense and the smaller man Delirious eventually fell to Morishima’s devastating Lariat and Backdrop Driver. Four Corner Survival: KENTA def. Davey Richards, Brent Albright, Nigel McGuinnessReally hard hitting match here, all four men hit their signature spots and looked close to winning at some point. Nigel just about broke Richards jaw with the Rebound Lariat but somehow Richards managed to escape. KENTA looked extremely dominant at one point hitting Brent Albright with a Tiger Suplex. Albright himself would come close to victory with the Half Nelson suplex on McGuinness, Davey made the save and looked like he might steal the win with the D.R Driver on Albright. KENTA would not let it happen as he broke the pin and eventually connected with the Go 2 Sleep for the three count on the champion. Qualifying, Grudge Match: Bryan Danielson def. Jimmy RaveRave and Danielson had a very heated match here and took it to the floor early. Rave targeted Danielson’s leg and even locked in the Figure Four around the ring post at one point. Likewise Danielson targeted Rave’s arm and repeatedly threw him shoulder first into the barricade. It came down to who would lock in their signature move first; and that man would be Jimmy Rave who managed to avoid Dragons Roaring Elbow, take him down to the mat and lock in the Heel Hook. Danielson fought through the pain and barely survived, he came back and managed to apply the triangle choke. Rave tried to escape but only allowed Danielson to transition to the MMA elbow strikes. Dragon wasn’t done; he applied the Crossface Chickenwing which eventually forced Rave to pass out and the ref to call for the bell.

Glad that Cross and Stevens won the opener, and that Hero advanced, with Generico getting a win. I hope Generico/Steen do get the tag straps. Aries retaining was good, Morishima going over was obvious, Danielson/Rave was written up well, though I wanted Rave to get it. Four Corner Survival was good, but I wanted Albright to win. The fact that Richards lost this one leads me to believe he'll retain in his next title defense, and maybe lose the belt to KENTA.

I enjoyed RTTT. I love anybody who places Jimmy Rave in the main event. This looks awesome thus far despite me not following this or ROH

The was an awesome show. But Claudio losing to Generico is meh. Delirious losing makes me sad but its realistic tbh. Please get the FIP title off Aries or Strong. Im sick of seeing the same champs. Other than that, that was an awesome show. Reply to Lockdown on my TNA diary?

ing solid show Daz, but what can we expect from you, eh? It was great to see Naomichi Marufuji & Go Shiosaki get the win, and also El Generico to win. The KENTA/Albright/McGuinness/Richards match sounds godly! <3 I also love Jimmy Rave in the main event, sounds good.

ROH: Passion for Gold (May 11th; Hartford, CT)-Before the show “Lightning” Mike Quackenbush cut a promo claiming he’ll beat Roderick Strong tonight, and gain revenge for Strong’s vicious attack on him at All Star Extravaganza IV-Jimmy Jacobs cut a pre-show promo saying he has been distracted from his goals. And tonight he’ll take out Marufuji and get back on track at last.Tyler Black & Brent Albright def. Bobby Fish & Eddie EdwardsSolid opener, fish seemed uninspired and didn’t really shine and Eddie Edwards did the majority of the work for his team. He bumped well for Albright who put the final nail in their coffin with the Half Nelson suplex. Grudge Match: Roderick Strong def. Mike QuackenbushQuackenbush returned to action in a grudge match against Roderick Strong. In a possible show stealer Quack and Strong put on an intense back and forth battle that far surpassed even Quackenbush recent battles with Austin Aries. Strong dominated early on hitting numerous back breakers weakening Quack’s already previously injured back. Quack survived and showed his fighting spirit as he got immediately back to his feet after receiving a huge boot to the face from Strong. Quack would hit the Running Palm Strike and that signalled the turn of the contest. Quack threw everything he had at Strong including a crazy plancha into the third row. Strong however would not be denied and after surviving the BTS and Q.D III he managed to connect with a Half Nelson Backbreaker and Gibson Driver before eventually applying the Stronghold causing Quack to pass out. Grudge Match: Naomichi Marufuji def. Jimmy JacobsJacobs and Marufuji never really quite got in synch here but managed to string together a solid first half match. Marufuji dominated early on until Jacobs eventually took over. He grounded Marufuji and delivered several stomps. Eventually Marufuji regained control and nailed Jacobs with a sickening Superkick. Later Marufuji would connect with a Shiranui off the ring apron to the floor. Jacobs managed to mount a comeback after that and would connect with a spear for an extremely close near fall. He would attempt the Contra Code but Marufuji managed to block it. and after a second Superkick that rattled Jacobs jaw Marufuji would connect with a Shiranui inside the ring earning himself the three count. ROH World Tag Team Title Match: The Briscoe’s © def. Erick Stevens & Matt CrossThe Briscoe’s were heavily favoured here but Stevens and cross gave them one hell of a fight. The team really came into their own here as they took everything the Briscoe’s could throw at them. Erick Stevens in particularly put in a terrific performance taking every strike Jay Briscoe could throw at him before clothes lining both Briscoe’s out of their boots. The spot of the match saw Jay and Mark hit the Doomsday Device only for Matt Cross to over rotate and land cat like on his feet. He would follow up with the Headbreaker on Jay Briscoe as Erick Stevens laid out Mark with the TKO. Matt followed up with the Split Legged, Corkscrew Moonsault but Jay managed to kick out before three. Stevens and Cross attempted to put Jay away with the TKO/Double Stomp combination they have put to use as of late, however as Cross spring boarded off the ropes, Mark sprang off the adjacent ropes catching him with the Briscoe Cutter. Jay would escape his predicament and after a M<ark Briscoe superkick, he would hit the Jay Driller on a dazed Stevens for the win. -After the match Cross and Stevens shook hands with the Briscoe’s as all four men got a standing ovation for a terrific tag team contest.--Intermission---During Intermission Jimmy Rave cut a promo saying he’ll win the Six Man Mayhem match later on tonight and put himself right back in title contention.--End Intermission--Six Man Mayhem: Nigel McGuinness def. Jimmy Rave, Delirious, Eddie Kingston, Kevin Steen & Go ShiosakiLots of star talent here, and the match lived up to the hype. Lots of brawling with Kingston and Steen took them out of the running as the feud between The BLKOUT and Steenerico continues. Go and Nigel went at it with several solid minutes of back and forth. The highlight saw McGuinness attempt the Rebound Lariat only for Go to avoid it and connect with a devastating German Suplex. Delirious came close to victory with the Shadows over Hell but Rave broke up the cover and immediately locked in the Heel Hook. As he wrenched in the hold Nigel connected with a Lariat to the unsuspecting Jimmy Rave. Nigel would go onto apply an arm based submission earning the victory. El Generico def. RuckusIn a fast paced spot filled match, Generico picked up the win with his patented Top Rope Brainbuster. Ruckus had plenty of opportunities to put Generico away but the Generic Luchadore refused to stay down for three. He would re-gain the upper hand after avoiding the Razzle Dazzle and connecting with a Yakuza kick in the corner. Generico would also come close with a devastating Yoshi-Tonic before eventually putting Ruckus away. Austin Aries def. KENTAAries and KENTA had a very solid showing here; the fans were behind both guys and just wanted to see a great match, which is what they got. KENTA worked over Aries legs with his kicks, and that would come into play later on As Aries legs buckled out from under him as he attempted the Brainbuster. KENTA dominated the home stretch, with Aries surviving the Falcon Arrow and Tiger Suplex. Austin managed to escape a Go 2 Sleep attempt and make the comeback hitting his traditional, punt/brainbuster combination. Due to the injured legs he was unable to reach the top for the 450, before KENTA got back to his feet. KENTA would connect with a Super-Plex before once again attempting the Go 2 Sleep. Aries blocked it, took KENTA down to the mat and applied the Scissored Armbar for the submission victory. -After the match Aries made belt motions around his waist signalling he’s coming after the ROH World Title.ROH World Title Match: Takeshi Morishima def. Davey Richards ©, Bryan Danielson & Chris HeroROH have been over using this Four Corner Survival Stuff since the beginning of the year, but when the guys involved deliver great matches like this, you can’t blame them. All four men played their roles to a tee and things just clicked here. Richards did everything he could to stay out of the ring and stay fresh, letting Morishima and Danielson brutalise each other in the ring. His strategy nearly paid off after surprising Danielson with the D.R Driver. If it weren’t for Chris Hero the match would have been over. Hero himself came close to victory after hitting Davey with the Hero’s Welcome, but the champion proved to have some fight left in him. Hero’s story would come to an end after a Lariat from Morishima, and so would Richard’s title reign as Takeshi Morishima nailed a helpless Danielson with the Backdrop Driver whilst Davey recuperated on the floor. -After the match Richards looked on in shock as Morishima raised the belt above his head. The ROH Locker Room emptied to congratulate the new champion however Morishima had no need to grandstand. He pushed former champion Delirious aside before making his way to the back.
