YES! Steen and Generico finally win the ing tag team titles, you are now a god in my books Daz! Danielson winning as well as Hero, the only thing that would have made this show more complete for me would be if Aries would have won the world title. Holy crapI'm happy

ROH: Honor Invades Toronto (June 22nd; Toronto, Canada)
-Before the show Roderick Strong, Davey Richards, Brent Albright and Eddie Edwards proclaim the Revolution has begun. Richards says no longer will they be overlooked, no longer will their spots be given to these so called 'rising stars' like Matt Cross and Erick Stevens. Richards says tonight, he'll take out Aries, and put himself right back in line for an ROH World Title shot. And Albright, Strong, and Edwards will take Quack, Cross and Stevens out of action; for good.
Kenny Omega def. Hallowicked Extended squash match here for Omega. Hallowicked had his moments of offense and picked up a near fall with the Rydien Bomb, but eventually Omega put the masked Wicked away with the Hadoukan.
The Briscoe’s def. The YRR The YRR once again got the up and down booking treatment here as they come off their win last night, to defeat tonight. Kenny King & Jason Blade had a good brawl with the Briscoe’s here, however everyone in attendance knew Jay and Mark would be walking away with the victory in the end. They eventually gained the win with the Springboard Doomsday Device.
Jimmy Rave def. El Generico Rave was in full on dickish heel mode here riling up the crowd at every opportunity. Lots of staling in the early going until ~Generico hit a dive to Rave on the floor. Rom there the pace picked up until Rave re-gained control. He methodically worked over Generico’s leg, with Generico teasing the comeback periodically. Eventually he made said comeback hitting most of his trademark manoeuvres. At one point it looks as if he’d connect with the Top Rope Brainbuster, however the injured leg slowed his ascent to the top and Rave was able to counter. Eventually Generico hit a standard Brainbuster for a close near fall. Later he would connect with the Yakuza Kick to Rave in the corner. However the kick only served to damage the leg further. A Rave chop block and Heel Hook later put El Generico away.
Delirious & Bryan Danielson def. Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli Delirious and Danielson have tremendous chemistry as opponents and that transitioned well as they tag teamed together here. The King’s of Wrestling complimented them well here and together the four put on a solid tag team encounter. Castagnoli came close to victory with the Alpamare Waterslide on Dragon, however it would be Delirious picking up the win for his team after countering the Ricola Bomb, taking Double C to the mat and locking in the Cobra Stretch.
--Intermission--
-Kevin Steen cuts a promo about finally holding Gold in Ring of Honor. He says he and Generico worked hard to capture the Tag Team titles and tonight he has an opportunity to become a double champion by defeating Takeshi Morishima for the ROH World Title. Steen says he will not waste this opportunity.
--End Intermission--
Austin Aries def. Davey Richards Austin Aries and Davey Richards had an explosive, hard hitting affair here. Lots of strike exchanges in the early going to wet the crowd appetite before exploding into the meaty stuff. The crowd really came alive after an Aries suicide dive and stayed extremely hot for the Aries beat down that followed Eventually Richards made the comeback, working the crowd well. He played off them nicely as he tried desperately to put Aries away with signature move after signature move. The pair had the crowd in the palm of their hand as they went into the finish stretch. Finally Aries put Richards away after countering the DR Driver, connecting with the Brainbuster, and finally the 450 Splash.
Fight without Honor: Brent Albright, Eddie Edwards & Roderick Strong def. Mike Quackenbush, Matt Cross & Erick Stevens All out brawl here. Lots of craziness from start to finish. Stevens got busted open pretty bad and the heels preyed on it for a fair period of time. Stevens eventually made the baby face comeback as he destroyed almost all off his opponents. Eventually he ran into the big Brent Albright. After a little back and forth between the two Albright power bombed Stevens from inside the ring to the outside, driving him through two tables on the way. Cross and Quack used every highflying manoeuvre in their arsenal to put their opponents way, Cross coming particularly close after a split legged moonsault onto a chair, and more importantly onto Edwards. Eddie was able to survive that and a couple of minutes later Strong but the match to rest after connecting with a Uranage backbreaker, he nailed Quackenbush with the Gibson Driver onto a a strategically positioned steel guard rail for the win.
Tyler Black def. Jimmy Jacobs Black and Jacobs held back a fair bit here, in preparation or a bigger match down the road. The match suffered as a result, but they gave us a taste of what to come. Black managed to hold his own against the more established Jacobs who dominated his former partner for a lot of the match. Jacobs beat down Tyler for what seemed to be an eternity before Black was able to finds his footing. He would go onto Powerbomb Jacobs into the corner buckles before attempting the running forearm. Jacobs countered with a spear but Tyler would not stay down for the count of three. This was very much a reoccurring theme as Black was able to survive some of Jacobs best offence. The frustration this caused Jimmy allowed Tyler to sneak in the back door so to speak, and pick up the win with the Small Package Driver. -Nigel McGuinness came to the ring, he apologised to the fans for being injured and not being able to compete on this Canada Double shot. Nigel announced when he’s back to 100% he’s going to do the Canadian fans proud and win the ROH World Championships. Takeshi Morishima hit the ring and squared up to Nigel. Morishima assaulted him, attacking the arm before delivering a Backdrop Driver. Nigel was assisted to the back clutching at his injured limb.
ROH World Title Match: Takeshi Morishima © def. Kevin Steen A lot of fans in attendance thought Steen had no chance of winning the belt here. And Steen was able to prove them wrong. As the match progressed the fans start to have belief that the home town hero could pull off the upset. He managed to weather Takeshi Morishima’s ruthless attacks, take the big man down and connect with a Swanton Bomb for one of the longest two counts you will ever see. Steen began working on the legs, and repeatedly went after the Sharpshooter. Morishima was able to cut each attempt off before hitting a big move of hiw own. The biggest was a vicious side slam that look destined to be a three count; however somehow Steen managed to survive. Morishima called for the cartwheel elbow in the corner, however Steen countered, clipping the back of Morishima’s leg before locking in the Sharpshooter. The fans were desperate to see the Canadian Kevin Steen become a double champion but Takeshi was able to reach the ropes. Steen would go after the Package Piledriver but the ROH World Champion cut him off. A Lariat and two Backdrop Drivers later and Morishima had retained the title.

It's so nice to see Kenny Omega on here. Please get him on the main roster soon. Not to mention, it would be cool if Incoherence formed in Ring of Honor. I don't know how long he'll stay interesting with Quackenbush and Jigsaw. I'm also liking the push that you're giving Tyler Black. Hopefully, he'll be the one to take the title off of Morishima. Thus far, he's had a pretty bland reign. Keep up the good work, buddy. When you get a chance, a reply to CHIKARA 2K9 would be nice.

this has got to be one of my favorite diaries on the site. I like that you are pushing Jacobs and making an intresting feud with Black.
Steenerico with the tag straps is great and I wonder who can take the belts off of them besides the Briscoes hopeful Roddy & Davey go after the belts.
Morishima with the ROH title is a beast no one will be able to stop him. I'd love to see a surprise champion like Jimmy Rave or Jacobs or even the shocking return of Samoa Joe or if in the game Paul London gets released that be freaking sweet.
Keep this bad boy rolling.

Now he’ll do battle with NOAH rookie Go Shiozaki in a highly anticipated contest. June 8t: Also returning to ROH; former ROH World Tag Team Champions Kotaro Suzuki and Ricky Marvin. Marvin and Suzuki won the titles from the Briscoe Brothers last year in Japan and they’ll be appearing for ROH once more this August. Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards vs. Matt Cross & Erick Stevens The Briscoe’s vs. Ricky Marvin & Kotaro Suzuki July 8th: The BLK OUT will compete in their second ROH cage match as they take on Kevin Steen and El Generico. Generico and Steen captured the ROH Tag Team Titles in Canada and the belts will be on the line. These two teams have fought for the last several months and it will come to a head at death Before Dishonor. July 8th: Death Before Dishonor weekend is upon us, and we have two stacked cards in store for you. On Night One, the Revolution of Davey Richards, Roderick Strong, Eddie Edwards and Brent Albright will take on the four men that oppose them in singles action. The following night, this war will continue in tag team action as Erick Stevens and Matt Cross team up to take on Richards and Edward whilst Quackenbush will attempt to gain some retribution over Roderick Strong. Austin Aries, Mike Quackenbush, Erick Stevens and Matt Cross all have their scores to settle, and they’ll look to do just that on the 12th and 13th. July 8th: The YRR have been making waves in the ROH tag team ranks for the last several months, they will face another tough challenge in Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero on night One. The winner of this match will go onto face El Generico & Kevin Steen for the ROH World Tag Team Championships the following night, so you can guarantee both teams will be looking for a victory. July 8th: Also, the ROH World Title will be on the line as Tyler Black gets his shot. Black has been in an impassioned feud with former partner Jimmy Jacobs as of late, he will have to put Jacobs to the back of his mind as he battled Takeshi Morishima with the belt on the line. The following night however, it will not be able to gold (or silver) as Black and Jacobs will be chained together via dog collar. These two want to rip one another apart and they will get their chance on the 13th. July 8th: Kotaro Suzuki and Ricky Marvin return to ROH in ring completion. They will appear on Night Two of Death Before Dishonor weekend, where they will square off against the Briscoe’s. These two teams have faced off in the past with spectacular results; on the 13th it will be no different. July 8th: At Homecoming, Austin Aries came so close to winning the ROH World Title from Takeshi Morishima. After defeating Davey Richards in Toronto, ROH officials have deemed Austin Aries one more shot at the title. This is a must win situation for Aries, as management have stipulated; if Aries fails to win the title on this occasion, he will not be granted a shot at the belt for the remainder of the year. Morishima would love to knock off Aries for a second time and he will get his chance on Sunday.

ROH: Death Before Dishonor; Night 1 (July 12th; Manhattan, New York)-Before the show Tyler Black cut a promo, claiming tonight is his night, and he will not waste his opportunity to win the ROH World Title.Jimmy Rave def. Rhett TitusJimmy Rave decimated the self proclaimed “Sexiest Man Alive”, eventually locking in the Heel Hook for the submission victory. Rave held onto the hold well after the bell until officials had to come down to break it up. -After the match Rave got on the mic and said he’s coming after the ROH World TitleRoderick Strong def. Erick StevensStevens and Strong once again met here; in a really hard hitting battle. Lots of chop and strike exchanges early on before breaking down into a brawl. They fought around ringside for a while, with Strong trying to connect with the Gibson Driver onto a guard rail. Stevens countered the attempt and gained the upper hand. He would keep it until he attempted to chop Strong who was propped up against the ring post. Strong ducked and Stevens nailed the post. Strong began to systematically do damage to the hand, working it into all of his signature moves including a beautifully executed backbreaker with the hand pinned behind Stevens back. Stevens would make the baby face comeback on several occasions but eventually came up short as Strong cut off the Doctor Bomb, spinning out of it, slamming Stevens to the mat and stomping on the hand. Strong followed up with the Gibson Driver which earned the three count. -After the match, Albright and Edwards hit the ring. Stevens attempted to fight all three men off however he soon fell prey to an Albright Half Nelson Suplex. The Revolution had Stevens right where they wanted him, and even prepared to do further damage to the injured hand with a steel chair. Austin Aries would hit the ring, saving Stevens and beginning his scheduled match with Albright.Austin Aries def. Brent AlbrightAries began the match a house of fire, hitting explosive move after explosive move. Eventually Albright would take control, using his sheer size and power to dominate Aries. Aries tried to cut Albright down to size but the machine like Brent Albright managed to survive his attacks. He dumped Aries on his head time after time with various different suplexes but Aries will to win would prevail. He eventually made the comeback, hitting a string of signature moves including a beautiful suicide dive and Lionsault. Nothing seemed to put Albright away; that is until Aries connected with the Punt/Brainbuster/450 Splash combination. ROH World Tag Team Title, Cage Match: Kevin Steen & El Generico © def. The BLK OUTKingston and Joker took to the cage for BLK OUT as they competed against the ROH World Tag Team Champions. The match started out extremely physical with both teams using the cage to their advantage. Steen was the first man busted open and BLK Out took advantage keeping him isolated from Generico. Steen was brutalised by the BLK OUT and it looked like we would have new ROH World Tag Team Champions. Steen would not let it happen though as he fought back eventually making the tag to Generico. Generico came in a house of fire and laid out both Kingston and Joker with Yakuza kicks. As the BLK Out looked to be in trouble; stable mates Sabian and Ruckus made their presence known. Sabian forced his way into the cage, bringing a steel chair with him moments after Ruckus launched himself from the top of the steel structure, taking out the champions. The end looked to be nigh for Steenerico as Sabian handcuffed Steen to the ropes, allowing the BLK OUT to beat down El Generico. The BLK OUT’s distraction gave both Kingston and Joker ample time to recover and moments later Kingston was able to connect with a Yakuza kick and Spinning backfist. He would get an agonising two get for his troubles as Generico refused to give in. Kingston called for the end as Ruckus hoisted Generico to his feet. Sabian would attempt the chair shot however at the last second, Generico would pull Ruckus into his line of fire. “The Generic Luchadore” took out Kingston and Joker with a Tornado DDT/Dropkick combination before throwing the cuff key to partner Steen. “Mr. Wrestling” freed himself much to the delight of the crowd. The fuming Kevin Steen and Generico took out Sabian and Ruckus evening the playfield. Steen would soon finish things off for his team, countering Joker’s last ditch Joker Driver attempt and connecting with the Package Piledriver. He rolled Joker back into Generico’s path and Generico would hit the Brainbuster. They were not done there though as Steen ensured victory with the Swanton. --Intermission---During intermission Davey Richards and the Revolution talked about Albright’s loss to Aries. Richards said Aries has involved himself in his [Davey’s] business once too often. Richards told Aries to consider himself a marked man.--End Intermission--Eddie Edwards def. Matt CrossIn another continuation of the Revolution angle, Eddie Edwards took on Matt Cross. Cross was basically Edwards’ punching bag for much of the match, really selling everything Edwards did in an effort to get Eddie over. The fans have taken quite the dislike to Edwards who plays off their jeers fairly well. In the homestretch the pair put some doubt into the fan’s minds as to the result as Cross hit a string of high risk offense; including the Split Legged Moonsault Cross has been putting to use as of late. However it would be Edwards taking the victory on this occasion with the backpack stunner and Lionsault. The YRR def. King’s of WrestlingClaudio and Hero’s bad run of form continued here as they suffered another defeat; this time at the hands of The YRR. The YRR, Kenny King in particular have developed a cult like following during their tenure in ROH and the fans popped pretty big for their victory. The finish of the match saw Hero accidentally nail Claudio with a rolling elbow taking him out of commission. This allowed King to nail Hero with the Coronation for the three count. -After the match Claudio and Hero engaged in a brief shoving match before hugging and making up.Mike Quackenbush def. Davey RichardsIn what quite possibly was the most anticipated match in the Revolution angle, Quackenbush pulled out a surprise victory against World Title contender Davey Richards. Richards had dominated much of the match, keeping the lighting quick Mike Quackenbush at bay with stiff kick after stiff kick. The turning point came when Quack blocked one of Davey’s aforementioned kicks and delivered a vicious palm strike to the jaw of Richards. Quack hit a flurry off high impact offense, including the BTS. Despite this, things still seemed to be going Richards’ way as he found his way back up into the matchup, eventually looking to finish things off with the DR Driver. Before he could hit it, Quack span out and countered the attempt into a unique pinning predicament. The rollup was enough to get him the victory much to the shock of the former ROH World Champion. ROH World Title Match: Takeshi Morishima © def. Tyler BlackTyler Black has been on top form most of the year, with a series of great tag team matches and some impressive singles matches; however none more impressive than this. Morishima mauled Black. Tyler looked just about dead for about ten minutes. The fans were eating up Morishima’s offense and even more so Black’s surviving it all. As the match progressed Takeshi Morishima became frustrated that he had not been able to put the youngster away. He allowed Tyler to sneak right back into the match. And that’s just what he did. Tyler exploded at Morishima with a balls to the wall barrage of attacks. Tyler threw everything he could at Morishima and it was working, right up until he attempted the Small Package Driver. Morishima would counter it. However the ROH World Champion would not be able to counter the Backdrop Driver reversal; the kick to the face, or the Phoenix Splash that followed. Somehow the champ survived and despite Black’s best efforts, he would eventually fall to the Lariat/Backdrop Driver combo. -After the match, Morishima left with the belt, as Tyler got to his feet inside the ring. He received a standing ovation from the crowd for his efforts.Nigel McGuinness def. Naomichi MarufujiThese two left it all in the ring in an epic match here. The match started off slowly, both men picking their spots carefully, building and building into an extremely hot finish that had the fans out of their seats. The building was red hot for every near fall, every false finish, none more explosive than Marufuji hitting a picture perfect Superkick only to have Nigel spin around and level him with a sickening Lariat. Marafuji survived that and would later go onto hit not only thee Shiranui, but also the Super Shiranui. Nigel was able to survive both. He went to work on the arm of Marafuji throughout, and in one spot in particular, he modified his trademark Tower of London manoeuvre, driving the NOAH star’s injured limb into the canvas instead. After battling back and forth for several minutes, Nigel was finally able to connect with the Jawbreaker Lariat before applying the London Dungeon for the submission victory. -After the match, both men shook hands as the fans chanted their appreciation.

So glad to see that you're back, Daz. Jimmy Rave going after the ROH World Championship is nice. Him and Takeshi or Black could have a great feud. To be honest, the majority of feuds in this sim have gone out of my head, which is why I am glad you posted the ROH Newswire as that helped quite a bit. Quackenbush beating Richards, who is a World Title contender, is interesting. I can see you having a rematch between the two for the title shot with Richards winning. Black/Morishima sounded immense. I'm really looking forward to Black/Jacobs. Solid main event. The Night Two card looks stacked. Morishima/Aries, Jacobs/Black, Shiozaki/Albright and Danielson/KENTA sound amazing.

I can't even begin to explain how happy I am to see this back. I remember talking to Hammers, a few weeks back, and were were discussing how great this diary was. As long as Eddie Edwards and Eddie Kingston receive solid pushes, then I'll be pleased. I hope that you carry the Hero/Kingston angle from CZW into this, just like they're doing in ROH at the moment. Please post some more shows soon.

Nice little opening contest with Jimmy Rave getting the win over Rhett Titus. Interesting contest to kick off, just a way to get the audience interested. Roderick Strong beating Erick Stevens is fine, seemed like a pretty good brawl here. Austin Aries vs Brent Albright is a scorching match, I like both performers. Good steel-cage title defense of the ROH World Tag Team Championships, Kevin Steen and El Generico as champs is amazing, by the way. Eddie Edwards I am not familiar with, Matt Cross I remember though. Iron Saints beating Kings of Wrestling is fine. I hope Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero end up going their seperate ways. Mike Quackenbush beating Davey Richards is fine. Ace semi-main event with Takeshi Morishima beating Tyler Black to retain the ROH World Championship. Epic main event with Nigel McGuinness winning. Good to see this return AGAIN.

Its great to see probably my all time favourite diary return once again. I'm loving that Rave being used as a serious threat, hopefully we see alot more from him. Strong/ Stevens sounded great, as was Aries/ Abright. I'm enjoying the Revolution stable as a whole. The cage match write up was epic, good to see Steenerico picking up the win and retaining the titles. Good to see Edwards picking up the win, although I'm not happy with what appears to be a split between Hero and Castagnoli. I was surprised that Quack went over Davey, but I'm hoping this means Quack is going to get a world title push down the line. I was really hoping that Black would finally get the title here, but I didn't really see it happening. That main event would definitely be something I'd love to see live, good to see McGuiness getting the win. I'm hoping you keep with this now your back man.

ROH: Death Before Dishonor VI; Night 2 (July 13th; Manhattan, New York)-Aries cuts a pre show saying he dedicated himself to defending the FIP World title this year, giving the young talent in ROH & FIP the chance to prove. He talked about Davey Richards’ group and how they’ve targeted Mike Quackenbush, Erick Stevens & Matt Cross. Aries said he’s not going to stand for it, and tonight he may be fighting for the ROH World Championship but he wants Richards, Strong and Edwards to know he’s not above kicking their asses.Six Man Mayhem: Chris Hero def Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious, Kenny Omega, Eddie Kingston & Rhett TitusA fun opener with every participant playing their respective roles, Rhett Titus especially put on a good performance as everyone’s punching bag. For a large portion of the match, the other participants tagged in and out, dominating Titus. Kingston in particular seemed to brutalize young Rhett, still fuming over the previous night’s loss. Delirious feigned showing compassion before taking Rhett to the mat, much to the amusement of the fans. The match broke down towards the end and eventually ended up with the traditional dive fest. Kingston was the last man left in the ring, he teased a dive to the floor before stopping, exiting and continuing his brutal strikes. It looked as if Claudio would pick up the win over Kenny Omega when he hooked him for the Ricola Bomb; however Hero slipped in the back door and rolled his partner up for the three count. -After the match Claudio questions hero about the matches close. Hero shrugs and leaves the ring, much to Castagnoli’s frustration.Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards def. Matt Cross & Erick StevensPretty short match here, Edwards and Richards attacked Stevens and Cross before the bell and beat them around ringside. Richards whipped Stevens shoulder first into the guard rail as Cross and Edwards made it into the ring. Cross had Edwards reeling and headed to the top however Eddie cut him off, he’d hit the Backpack Stunner as Richards entered. The Revolution team mates double teamed Cross before Stevens attempted to make the save. His arm was clearly bothering him and Richards went straight after it, eventually locking in the Kimura for the victory. -After the match Richards got on the mic. He responded to Aries comments before the show, saying if Aries wants a piece of the Revolution; he knows where to find them.Go Shiozaki def. Brent AlbrightA very hard hitting battle here; as you’d expect from the two individuals involved. A lot of fans were surprised to see this go on early but certainly weren’t complaining. These two had a lengthy chop/forearm battle in the middle of the ring that Go seemingly go the better of. Albright would make the comeback, connecting with a variety of suplexes before eventually looking to finish Go off. He hooked him for the Half Nelson Suplex however Shiozaki countered. Go would make the comeback and hit the German Suplex. He attempted the Go Flasher however Albright was able to escape and take Shiozaki to the mat. He applied the Crow Bar. Go was able to escape it, however his arm was damaged and his chops were taken away. Albright would seemingly have victory minutes later as he connected with the Half Nelson Suplex however Go showed his fighting spirit getting back to his feet. He delivered a brutal Superkick to Albright’s jaw before connecting with the Go Flasher for the win. ROH World Tag Team Titles: Kevin Steen & El Generico © def. The YRRThe YRR earned the right to face the Tag Champs the previous night, and look to make good use of the opportunity here. They targeted Steen who took the brunt of The BLK OUT’s punishment’s the previous night in their feud ending cage match. The match followed the usual tag formula and eventually Steen made the tag to Generico. Generico picked of Blade before attempting the top rope Brainbuster. King fought him off and pushed Generico to the mat. Kenny King adjusted himself on the buckles as Generico rolled back to his feet. King did not see Generico charging in. “The Generic Luchador” connected with the Yakuza kick knocking King from his perch. He made the tag to Steen who immediately ascended to the top and connected with the Swanton for the victory. --Intermission---Nigel McGuinness cut a promo saying Morishima’s attack on him was just like last year all over again. McGuinness claimed Morishima has never showed him respect, or given him his dues. Nigel said Morishima just made an enemy out of Nigel McGuinness and he [Nigel] vows to take Morishima’s ROH World Title.--End Intermission--Mike Quackenbush def. Roderick StrongQuack came into this match, looking for vengeance and for the first several minutes that’s exactly what he got. Strong would turn the tables later on as Quack attempted the Huracanrana. Strong power bombed Quackenbush down to the canvas before systematically working over the back. Strong hit backbreaker after backbreaker, trying to literally break Mike in half. Quackenbush eventually found the will to make the comeback, connecting with a running palm strike. Strong got back to his feet and tried to capitalize with a running boot however Quack avoided it. He connected with a second palm strike before following up with the BTS. He looked to have the match firmly in hand before Strong countered the QD IV attempt. He would hook Quack and nail the Gibson Driver before locking in the Strong Hold. Strong looked to have the match in hand however Quack forced his way to his feet. Roderick called Quack back to his feet before once again charging for the boot. Mike evaded it and Roderick charged chest first into the turnbuckles. He staggered back into a schoolboy however was able to kick out at two. He would not be able to kick out of the QD III that followed. The Briscoe’s def. Kotaro Suzuki & Ricky MarvinReally good tag team matchup here. These two teams brought the same intensity and drive they have in all their previous meetings and it made for an exciting contest. They recycled several of the spots previously used as well as teasing and countering them. The Briscoe’s would eventually pick up the victory, connecting with the Springboard Doomsday Device on Suzuki. -After the match the two teams shook hands as the fans applauded their efforts.-Before the Dog Collar Match got underway, Jimmy Jacobs announced BJ Whitmer would be his second. Jimmy would go on a rant, saying he thought ahead, he brought a second, someone he trusts and someone who will watch his back. Finally Tyler replied “So did I...” before bringing out Lacey.Dog Collar Match: Jimmy Jacobs def. Tyler BlackJacobs was driven mad at the sight of Lacey and Tyler took advantage jumping him. Finally the bell rang as Tyler hammered away at Jacobs. Jimmy would try to flee however the chain prevented him from doing so. Tyler would pull Jacobs back into the ring and continue his assault. BJ Whitmer tried to intervene, jumping up onto the ring apron. Tyler dispatched of him and Lacey handcuffed Whitmer to the guard rail. Jimmy was eventually able gain control and the match broke down from there. Jacobs relentlessly worked over Tyler, using every part of the ring, and every weapon he could find under it to do damage. Jacobs looked to finish Black off with a Senton through a table however Black put a stop to it; tugging on the chain which flipped Jacobs off of his perch and through the table below. Tyler was able to make the comeback, connecting with the Superkick. He followed up with a Powerbomb into the turnbuckles as well as the Paroxysm. Tyler called for the end, hooking Jimmy for the God’s Last Gift. Jimmy was able to prevent it and lock in the Guillotine Choke. He begged Tyler to tap out but Tyler refused and forced his way to the ropes. A furious Jacobs has one more trick up his sleeve, or boot in this case. He withdrew the railroad spike and prepared to spike his former tag team partner. Tyler cut him off at the last second before connecting with the Small Package Driver. Jacobs kicked out of the subsequent pin fall and the match continued. They battled back to their feet, exchanging blows; Jacobs gained the advantage with a low blow. He once again took possession of the spike and this time there was no stopping him. He spiked Black in the head repeatedly as Lacey watched on from ringside. Jacobs demanded Lacey come in and stop him as he made her watch him drive the spike into Tyler’s forehead. Eventually Lacey go up onto the ring apron. Lacey watched on as Jacobs choked Tyler out with the chain binding them together. Finally Lacey threw the towel in for Tyler Black and the referee called for the bell -After the match Jacobs grabbed Lacey by the hair and pulled her into the ring. He prepared to spike Lacey until Nigel McGuinness, Go Shiozaki and a plethora of ROH students and roster members hit the ring. Jacobs bailed leaving Lacey to tend to a bloody Tyler Black.ROH World Title: Austin Aries def. Takeshi Morishima © by DisqualificationThe story of this match followed a very similar one to the last time these two met. Aries suffered Morishima’s onslaught as he attempted to hit his big combination, the same combination that won him the ROH World Championship from Samoa Joe. Morishima avoided it at all costs and would go to work on Aries, hitting every big move in his arsenal. He looked to have the match all sewn up after a Cartwheel Splash in the corner as well as the Big Side Slam but Aries somehow kicked out. Morishima called for the end however Aries immediately began to battle back. He would go onto hit the Lionsault for an agonising two count that drew the fans in attendance to their feet. Morishima was reeling as Aries ran to the ropes looking to follow up. He rebounded straight into a vicious lariat derailing Austin’s momentum. Morishima went up top and attempted his Missile Dropkick. He launched himself off the ropes but found nothing but air as Aries sidestepped. Finally Aries connected with the combination, delivering the punt to the head, the brainbuster and finally the 450 Splash. Morishima was able to kick out. Aries called Morishima back to his feet, ready to follow up. Before he could, Davey Richards, Roderick Strong, Brent Albright & Eddie Edwards hit the ring attacking Aries. The referee called for the bell as the fans chanted “Bullpoop!” -Morishima took his ROH World title and left ringside as The Revolution continued their beat down on Austin Aries. Finally Cross, Stevens and Quackenbush hit the ring to make the save, It would do no good however as The Revolution quick disposed of them. Edwards took out Cross before tying him to the ropes with his wrist tape. On the floor Strong turned the tables on Quack with a chair shot to his injured back. And finally Albright applied the Crowbar to Stevens damaged arm. Richards hoisted Aries to his feet before laying him out with a DR Driver in the centre of the ring. The Revolution stood tall.KENTA def. Bryan DanielsonWe’ve seen a bunch of good matches, both on the mat, in the air and even on the outside. But these two men were determined to top all of them. And they came very close. Danielson and KENTA told a great story here as both men went at each other, Danielson targeting the head with strikes, KENTA just trying to wear Dragon down with a relentless barrage of kicks. Danielson’s plan of attack nearly paid off for him as he locked in the Cattle Mutilation however KENTA was able to escape. Danielson would find himself on the back foot as KENTA connected with the Tiger Suplex and Falcon Arrow for split second near falls. Danielson tried at all costs to avoid the Go 2 Sleep, countering it on no less than three occasions. On the second he slipped off behind and rolled KENTA onto his back. With KENTA on the mat Danielson took advantage stomping away at the head before once again going to the Cattle Mutilation. KENTA was again able to escape, but Danielson refused to give so easily and went straight back to work on him with MMA Elbows. KENTA powered to his feet and fought his way free. He would eventually hit the Busaiku Knee before once again calling for the Go 2 Sleep. This time Dragon got the arms up, blocking the knee strike. He would hook KENTA’s arm and take him to the mat; applying the Triangle Choke. Again KENTA battled out of it, finding the strength to hoist Dragon off the mat, up onto the shoulder and finally deliver the Go 2 Sleep. The G2S was enough to pin Dragon to the mat for the count of three.

-Love Manhattan shows, they're the only ones I get to go to -Hero winning the opener was good, love how he did it to. lol at Titus being a punching bag -Loving the American Wolves winning, they're a great team, although I don't think they're called the Wolves in this sim -Liking Go winning as I'm a bigger fan of his than Albright's -Don't really know who the Iron Saints are so I'm glad Steenerico retained -Quack/Strong would be fantastic, so happy that Quack won -Briscoes winning is good, I've yet to see anything from Marvin although I want too -Dog Collar match was all kinds of awesome. LACEY!!! Sucks that Black lost but I can see why. Nice touch having some faces come to the ring to stop Jacobs -Aries losing by DQ is Bull**** but it gets so much heat on the Revolution -Fantastic main event, loved the ending with the GTS out of the Triangle Choke. Dragon blocking it the first few times was great too
Great show, just like the real ROH that I love

Daz is baaaaaack! Love the idea of a dog collar match between Jacobs and Black, great booking raising the stakes that little bit. The highlight for me was easily KENTA and Bryan Danielson. Both of these guys are some of the only indy talent I have bothered to check out, and they are two of my favorites. Fantastic execution from you Dazzle.

ROH Press ReleasePPV/VOD Distribution Deals Bring ROH into 50 Million HouseholdsJuly 20th, 2008 - Ring Of Honor Wrestling (ROH), in association with G-Funk Sports & Entertainment, has concluded programming and distribution deals for PPV and VOD wrestling cards with iN DEMAND Networks, TVN and EchoStar Communications Corporation’s DISH NetworkTM, making the critically-acclaimed ROH brand available for the first time ever to approximately 50 million American households. The agreement calls for a card every 60 days from shows both stateside and abroad, and will premiere December 12th. A total of six cards are planned throughout ‘08/’09. ROH owner Cary Silkin made the announcement today with G-Funk’s President Ken Gelman. The debut event, entitled “Bound by Honor,” will be taped October 11th in Chicago Ridge Illinois from The Frontier Field House, and will feature a glistening array of talent from Japan, England, the U.S. and Mexico. Long revered by a loyal underground fan base, the Philadelphia-based ROH appeals to the disenfranchised wrestling fan fed up with storylines which seem to take precedence over the kind of powerful ring competition that ROH specializes in. Fans around the world now know that our brand of action is, indeed, the highest-flying, hardest-hitting most daring and acrobatic action presented today,” says Mr. Silkin. “We are thrilled that we can finally show a televised audience what our loyal fans have been enjoying for the past seven years.” According to Mr. Gelman, “Ring Of Honor already has the respect and enthusiastic following of legions of fans around the world through their live events, but represents a fresh new entry into the world of televised wrestling. These distinctive programs will prove a welcome change-of-pace for audiences and a popular new option for cable operators and satellite providers as they expand their transactional offerings.” ABOUT RING OF HONOR Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH) based in Philadelphia, PA was conceived by passionate businessmen (and long-time wrestling fans) who felt the current professional wrestling product had strayed from the early roots of the sport to a travesty of wild story lines and improbable scenarios. ROH was created as a response to fans that appreciated the athleticism and entertainment that the sport can bring. The term "combat art" has also been used to describe ROH’s unique style. ABOUT G-FUNK SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT G-Funk Sports & Entertainment is a full-service agency dedicated to brand activation, strategic integration and driving maximum return on investment for its clients, headed up by Award-winning NHL and WWE marketing and television veteran Ken Gelman. G-Funk’s strengths center on three primary areas, Marketing Services (consumer promotion, affiliate activation and events), Partnership Alliances and Content Management (including distribution drives and launch strategies). Client partners include the National Football League, Impulse One, the Arena Football League, Rainbow Media and Ring Of Honor.

ROH Newswire
July 23rd: At Death Before Dishonor VI; Night 2, Jimmy Jacobs defeated Tyler Black in a brutal Dog Collar match when Lacey threw in the towel for her man. Tyler received several stitches after the contest, due to Jacobs Railroad Spike. Tyler has vowed July 13th will not be the last time he enters the ring with former partner Jimmy Jacobs.
July 23rd: Since Davey Richards formed his Revolution; he has preached his agenda and has made it known he wants a ROH World Title Shot. Richards and his followers, Eddie Edwards, Brent Albright and Roderick Strong have claimed ROH officials have given their rightful spots to lesser workers. On July 25th, The Revolution’s claims will be refuted as not one, but two members will challenge for World Titles. First, Roderick Strong will do battle with former record setting ROH World Tag Team Championship partner Austin Aries. Then, leader of The Revolution Davey Richards will go one on one with Takeshi Morishima.
July 23rd: They will not be the only Revolution members in action, as Eddie Edwards does battle with the severely injured Erick Stevens. Stevens had his arm damaged at the hands of the Revolution but has demanded he continues to booked on ROH shows. ROH officials have begrudgingly granted his request and Stevens will risk further harm to his arm for the opportunity to get his hands on The Revolution.

Current Line up: ROH World Title: Takeshi Morishima © vs. Davey Richards FIP World Title: Austin Aries © vs. Roderick Strong ROH World Tag Team Titles: El Generico & Kevin Steen © vs. The BLK OUT Submission Match: Jimmy Rave vs. Bryan Danielson Nigel McGuinness vs. Jimmy Jacobs Erick Stevens vs. Eddie Edwards Claudio Castagnoli vs. Tyler Black Chris Hero vs. Delirious
July 23rd: During their tenure as a tag team, Rave and Danielson became known for their deadly tandem submission hold; The Cattle Mutilation and Heel Hook combination. Since their split, both men have tried to outdo the other, using their trademark holds to do it. They will meet one final time, this time in a Submission match; the only way to win is to force the opponent to tap out. It’s the battle of the Cattle Mutilation and Heel Hook, which one will come out on top?
June 23rd: The war is over, but there is one more fight still to be had. The BLK OUT will get one last opportunity at Steen and Generico’s ROH World Tag Team Championships “Mr Wrestling” and the “Generic Luchador” did not battle through a vicious cage match only to lose the titles thirteen days later. They will do everything in their power to keep belts as Kingston and his thugs will try their best to wrestle them away from the champions.
June 23rd: Nigel McGuinness and Jimmy Jacobs will also resume their rivalry for one night only. Earlier in the year, Jacobs claimed he was going to take out obstacles and make an impression on his way to achieving his Ultimate Goal. Jacobs revealed his goal to be taking Lacey out of Ring of Honor for good. Nigel proved to be more than an obstacle as he prevented Jacobs from using his Railroad Spike on Lacey. Both men have points to prove, and they’ll look to prove it and the expense of each other.

Loving this back Daz, I've always praised it. I'd love for Rave to win the submission match, it would definitely make him a credible ROH World Champion if you ever go down that road. I'd love for Davey Richards to win the title(again I think) but that's only because I prefer him over Morishima. If anything I felt Aries should get a run with the title in the future.

ROH: Old Enemies, New Friends (July 25th; Dayton, OH)-Before the show cut underway, Bryan Danielson cut a promo. He recapped his history with jimmy rave, detailing their tag team run in 2007, as well as their Hybrid Submission hold finisher. Finally, Danielson vowed to make Jimmy Rave tap out to the Cattle Mutilation.Tyler Black def. Claudio Castagnoli w/Larry SweeneyLarry Sweeney returned to manage his client Claudio Castagnoli here, in a very athletic display by both men. Despite Sweeney’s support, Tyler Black was able to take victory over Claudio Castagnoli, countering the Ricola Bomb and connecting with the God’s Last Gift for the victory. -After the match, Sweeney berated Claudio for the loss. Claudio shoved Sweeney and things looked to be breaking down between the pair. However an apology and a hug later, things were resolved.Eddie Edwards def. Erick StevensEdwards had this match completely in hand from the get go. Stevens injured arm prevented him from delivering any of his signature offensive manoeuvres, a fact Edwards exploited from opening bell to losing. At times it seemed as if he was toying with Stevens, as he picked apart the arm. It nearly came back to haunt him as Stevens was able to catch him and snap off a power slam for a quick two count. Eventually it would be Edwards walking away with an inevitable victory, first connecting with the backpack stunner, followed by a Lionsault before finally locking in a cross arm breaker for the submission victory. -After the match Davey Richards & Roderick Strong hit the ring attacking Erick Stevens. Matt Cross tried to make the save but the three on two advantage proved too much for him. Strong set Cross up for a Gibson Driver onto the guard rail as Richards and Edwards held him back. Before he could hit it Austin Aries charged to the ring. Strong, Richards and Edwards scattered as Aries grabbed a microphone. He said Roderick can run now, but later on tonight there will be nowhere to hide.Delirious def. Chris Hero w/Larry SweeneyDelirious handed Sweeney his second defeat of the night defeating Chris Hero. Delirious took Hero off his game early on, with some wacky antics. In a funny moment, Sweeney leaped up onto the ring apron, protesting to the referee, claiming what Delirious was doing was illegal. Behind the referee’s back Delirious capitalized on Sweeney’s distraction, biting at the head of Hero. Eventually Hero was able to turn the match around, using some well executed Cravates as well as a Rolling Elbow to pick up a couple of near falls. It would be Delirious’ night though a he hit the Here it is Driver followed by the Shadows over Hell for the victory. -After the match Hero and Sweeney argued much like Claudio and Sweeney did earlier on, Claudio himself came to the ring to break it up. Claudio, Hero and Sweeney made up in the ring with a hug as Delirious watched on bemused. He too wanted a hug however the Kings of Wrestling replied with a pair of boots. They beat down the former ROH World Champion, eventually delivering the KRS-1!ROH World Tag Team Titles: El Generico & Kevin Steen © def. The BLKOUTRuckus and Sabian competed for The BLK OUT and came up short against the ROH World Tag Team Champions. The BLK OUT dominated Generico for portions, following pretty standard tag team formula. Eventually Generico got the hot tag to Steen who came in and ran wild over Ruckus and Sabian. Joker tried to involve himself however Steen knocked him off the ring apron. Ruckus would manage to regain control of Steen, throwing him into the conrer. He attempted the Razzle dazzle however “Mr Wrestling” moved out of the way. Ruckus hit the buckles back first before Generico surprised him with the Yakuza kick. Ruckus staggered forward and got hit by a Kevin Steen Package Piledriver. He rolled Ruckus back into the Brainbuster as the ROH World Tag Team Champions completed the Assembly Line. --Intermission---During the intermission break Jimmy Rave cut a backstage promo, he said the person that attacked him had no business being in the ROH locker room that night. And that he’s personally organising with management to allow them to come and wrestle him [Rave] one on one.--End Intermission--Nigel McGuinness def. Jimmy JacobsThese two resumed their rivalry here and the fans where desperate to see Nigel lariat Jacobs’ head off. They chanted “F**k him up Nigel!” repeatedly as the match got underway. To Jacobs’ credit he put up a good fight against McGuinness, coming close to victory with the repeated double stomps and elbow drop. They would once again bust out the Jawbreaker Lariat counter as Jacobs caught Nigel with a Spear coming in. Nigel kicked out infuriating Jacobs. Jimmy called for the end and hooked Nigel for the Contra Code. McGuinness countered, driving Jacobs chest first into the buckles. He followed up with the kick to the back before driving him down to the canvas with the elbow. Nigel made the comeback and connected with the Tower of London for an extremely close near fall. Nigel would apply the Cobra Clutch before attempting to spin Jacobs out into the Lariat. Jimmy avoided it before delivering the jawbreaker to McGuinness. Nigel staggered back towards the ropes before seesawing back with Jawbreaker Lariat. Nigel applied the London Dungeon forcing the Submission victory. FIP World Title: Roderick Strong © def. Austin AriesAries and Strong resumed their rivalry from last year, putting on a great match here. They had several striking exchanges as well as some mat based trading of holds. Strong managed to get the upper hand on Aries before trying to break the FIP World Champion down with backbreakers. Strong got cocky and attempted to hit Aries with Aries’ own Powerdrive Elbow. Austin moved out of the way and began his comeback. He completed it, hitting Strong with the Roaring Elbow. Aries looked to have the match firmly in hand as he delivered and Brainbuster before going up top for the 450 splash. Before he could execute it, Eddie Edwards pulled Strong from the ring. As Edwards and Strong recuperated on the floor, Aries jumped down from his perch and charged to the ropes. He connected with the Heat Seeking Missile on The Revolution members, much to the delight of the crowd. Aries rolled Strong back into the ring, looking to follow up. He prepared to launch himself over the ropes into the ring; however as he jumped Edwards grabbed him by the leg and pulled him down. Aries hit the ring apron face first before being rolled back into the squared circle. Aries got to his feet and immediately got hit by a Roderick Strong boot to the face. Strong followed up with the Death by Roderick, Gibson Driver and Finally Strong Hold which eventually gained him the win and the FIP World Title. -After the match Strong and Edwards continued their attack on Aries. Davey Richards joined the fray making the odds three against one. Quackenbush, Cross and Stevens made their way out to make the save. And they did just that until Brent Albright came from nowhere to join the fray. The former Lacey’s Angels Assassin, Half Nelson Suplexed everyone in sight, before locking the Crowbar in on Austin Aries, bending Aries arm almost out of its socket. Davey Richards got on the microphone and said he and his stable mates have been over looked for too long, Richards went onto say if ROH officials and management won’t pay attention to them, the Revolution of Davey Richard, Roderick Strong, Eddie Edwards and Brent Albright will make them pay attention.Submission Match: Bryan Danielson def. Jimmy RaveDanielson and Rave had a heated match here that followed a similar formula to their previous encounters. Both men world over the others arms and legs respectively, softening them up for their trademark holds. Rave dominated Danielson down the stretch, using every shortcut to do damage to the legs as possible. He had Danielson right where he wanted him before attempting to lay out “American Dragon” with the Pedigree. Danielson span out of it; took Rave to the mat and locked in the Cattle Mutilation, much to the fans delight. Rave survived on that occasion however had had only infuriated the best in the world. Danielson unloaded with strikes and suplexes. Dragon looked to apply the Cross face Chicken wing, the hold that forced Rave to tap out last time these two clashed. Rave escaped, spinning out and connecting with that move formerly known as Ghanarhea. Rave now went after the leg, locking in the Heel Hook. Rave tortured the leg and Danielson looked as if he’d tap. Instead “American Dragon2 clawed at the mat, propelling himself forward to the ropes. Before he could reach them, Rave dragged him back to the centre. Danielson was a second away from tapping; instead he found a way to counter it. Danielson escaped Rave’s patented hold before hooking Rave and delivering the MMA Elbows. With Rave reeling Danielson applied the Cattle Mutilation for the second time in the contest. This time Rave tapped out giving Dragon the win. -After the match, Danielson extended his hand to his former partner. Rave prepared to leave the ring, ignoring it until Danielson yelled “Be a man, shake my hand!” Rave would do so, following the code of honor.ROH World Title: Takeshi Morishima © def. Davey RichardsRichards got his rematch against Morishima and was determined to waste it. With his new attitude, due in part to the back up his Revolution team mates provided, Davey took the fight to the ROH World Champion. He hit tried desperately to take Morishima off his feet, and finally he did, connecting with the Handspring kick. Morishima would not stay down for long though and made Richards pay for his attack. He forced Richards into the corner before unloading with shots. Morishima whipped Richards across the ring and prepared to connect with the Cartwheel Splash. As Morishima came in, Davey moved out of the way leaving the champion to find nothing but buckles. This became the story of the match, Davey evading Morishima’s signature moves and picking his spots to take the big man down. Eventually Richards would attempt the DR Driver however Morishima escaped and levelled Richards with a Lariat. There was no avoiding the Side Slam and Missile Dropkick that followed however somehow Davey survived the subsequent pin falls. Morishima attempted the Backdrop Driver by Davey went up and over. He rolled Morishima up for an extremely close near fall. Richards would continue to roll the champion, trying desperately to get the victory. It would be his downfall however as he attempted the Inside Cradle. Morishima put the blocker on and dead lifted Davey up off the canvas. He took Richards over with the Backdrop Driver which was enough to earn the victory.

It's a little tough for me to give a good reply since I don't know too much about ROH. Liking the layout, looks nice and easy to read. Liking the Delirious push, hope it continues. Hoping BLK OUT would pick up the win but oh well. Strong/Aries sounded like a great match, surprise that it wasn't the main event, but I guess because it was for the FIP title. Danielson/Rave in a submission match was interesting, and a great co-main event. Love the fact that Richards got a main event spot there. Overall nicely done show, seems realistic as well.
