Saying Khali is a great technical wrestler cannot be an opinion. Because it is a fact that he is not. Whether you like him or not or whether you enjoy watching his matches or not or whether you think he is a good wrestler or not is all opinion. Because the idea of being a wrestler is debateable.

So maybe saying Quack is not a good wrestler is an opinion based on the idea of what one considers to be a wrestler. But to say Quack is not a great technical wrestler.....that is false.

Well I missed out on the Smart Mark sale, I would have loved to have gotten some dvds. I have sooooo many I want, but so little cash :'(

. I spend all my money on a DVD (TPI 2007) then they come out with a sale. I ordered my TPI last Saturday on the 13th and I stil haven't gotten it. E-mailed them today, hopefully I'll get it this week.

I think you missed my point altogether, which I can forgive, I usually get called out on doing that.

My point was along the lines of something can be not agreed upon, becoming an opinion, but if you draw a line it can easily become a fact. Like Benoit's legend status.

Tarnised? Yes. But even those who don't like what he did, can't argue that they probably had respect for everything he had done in the ring.

I see now why these debates turn ugly, but really I can't even tell you how we got here. Some one said Quack isn't good, he's just a generic high flyer... which in my opinion, tells me that they've never watched much of him or have a short attention span.

I always was under the impression they had prior success.

Must have been Wrestlereunion or something of a similar name origin.

Btw, anybody think the Lethal-Daniels match from BFG is worth going out of your way to see if it's available to you? How about Styles/Tomko vs Creed/Truth? I'm definitely checking out Steiners vs 3D tonight, but the other two I'm not sure if I'll ever watch unless I get a thumbs up here on if they were worth sitting through. Pacman Jones is not a factor.

Quack is not a good wrestler, I've watched him enough times to know that. You guys have a different idea of what wrestling is, and that's fine, but he's not my kind of wrestler.

He is generic, because he's just another high flier, just like the other 95% of indy wrestlers are.

For God's sake, stop saying what is a fact and an opinion. I understand that the majority of this forum love all these indy guys and I'm not going to try and explain to you why they make me sick.

Fact- Mike Quackenbush is a professional wrestler

Opinion- Mike Quackenbush is not a good professional wrestler

You don't have to have a degree in thermodynamics to know the difference.

Let's agree to disagree, you guys go watch Necro Butcher and I'll watch Johnny Smith, there's no reason for us to argue about trivial stuff.

And to say I haven't seen enough of Mr Quackenbush may be accurate, perhaps I haven't seen the wrestling clinic matches you all have, but to say I have a short attention span is absolutely false, because I've sat through enough crappy shows watching every second of it that I've wanted to kill myself. It doesn't take long during a Quack match to see him on the top rope, and it's been my experience that most technical wrestling is done on the mat.

who the hell's johnny smith?

i really don't see how quack is generic, i mean yeah he's got a standard haircut, build, look, etc but in the ring he's anything but generic. he's always been good as hell in the few live matches ive seen.

also your "so obsurd it's generic" arguement is a LOAD of shit. how can something so unique be so plain? it boggles my mind.

I know, I wish we had some guys to argue in support of him, but I'd question their intelligence.

Fine, you have an opinion. You don't have to believe Quackenbush is God, the second coming, or even a good wrestler.

However, generic high flyer? To steal a lame phrase, "you've got diarrhea of the mouth, and constipation of the brain!"

So my SMV Order from Friday came in today.....and I was sent this year's TPI (Which I own already) instead of the one I actually ordered....which was 2004.

I know it was just a mistake, but how do you screw that up? Hope I can get this sorted out...
