I think Rampage will either take on Wanderlei, or Chuck Liddell next. But hey, don't rule out him facing Anderson Silva...

Liddell vs Evans-Winner gets Title Shot
then Rampage and Lyoto Machida fight and Wanderlei and Thiago fight...winner of those fights face each other
when then after that the winner of Evans/Liddell/Griffin will fight Machida/Rampage/Wanderlei/Thago

This division is so stacked. I think the next fights will be:
Liddell/Evans (confirmed) Machida/Wanderlei (two guys who recently had big wins) Rampage/Shogun (There's a history there and both lost to Griffin)
Then: Liddell/Forrest The winners of the other two fights face off.

So rampage came out with both the UFC and PRIDE belts it looked like does this mean Forrest has both belts or is Rampage still considered PRIDE Champion? The two belts are unified, hence why they called Griffin the undisputed light heavy weight champion of the world.

I'm not happy with the scorecards for the main event. I can agree with Forrest winning, but 49-46 is B.S.

Okay, first off, I gotta say, great fight.
Rampage showed so much heart, but I have to give it to Forrest, he won 3 out of 5 rounds. Granted, if Rampage hadn't injured his leg in the first round, the fight would have went much differently. But KUDOS to forrest for some well placed leg kicks.
I thought Rampage won the stand up, and if Rampage had pressed the action more in that last round, would have won...I'm looking forward to there being a rematch...but then again, I wont hold my breath.
Because like stated above, the winner of Liddell/Evans gets the next title shot.

Oh man, what an awesome PPV. I am so happy for Forrest. It's got to be a dream come true for him. He is now clearly one of the best in the world and he proved it last night. I'm sure Rampage's leg is sore today!! He gave it one hell of an effort, that's for sure, but came up a bit short.
Congrats to Forrest for becoming the NEW UFC Light-Heavyweight champion.

There's no way in hell the winner of Liddell/Evans will be getting the next title shot. Liddell beat Wanderlei but had lost two fights before that, there is no way anyone but Machida should be next in line for that belt, although I would love a rematch considering how close last night's fight was.
Machida and Forrest would be an amazing fight. Machida has such a weird style that no one has been able to figure out, and with wins over Ortiz, Sokoudjou, and Nakamura no man deserves it more.

I doubt it, Machida would just run away from Forrest just like he does against everyone else. - Iron Heart

Chuck Liddell vs Forrest Griffin-Highly marketable fight, given TUF 1 past, not only that but would be an AMAZING fight Forrest Griffin vs Lyoto Machida-Most people would not find this fight marketable OR watchable...Machida needs to be tested against a top 10 LHW before he can be considered for the shot, say..Maurico "Shogun" Rua

Watching Griffin last night was a thing of beauty. In Forrest's post fight interview he said he felt like crap the whole day. He said it was probally because he got the big show goosebumps.

I had it down as a draw, Rampage winning 3 rounds, Forrest winning 2 but 1 round by 10-8.
But according to almost everyone else, Forrest won clearly so i'll have to watch it again.

The Judges have been known to make a lot of bad calls ( Bisping vs. Hamill ) but i agree on last night, and no it's not just because i'm a huge Forrest Griffin fan. - Iron Heart

The thing about decisions if fights I don't like is that after the fight people will always complain that the judges screwed up and the other guy should have won. I hate that on some other mma chats they say the entire UFC is racist because Rampage lost the fight and that this is just a way to get the title back to Chuck. He lost the fight fair a square maybe it was closer then one of the judges saw it but it was a win for Forrest.
