No, I'm not embarrassed.
I think it's good to have a weird hobby. It would be horrible if everybody in the world did what was expected of them by the majority at set intervals of time.
Plus, customizing is awesome.

iam very secretive about it,
my partner thinks its cool and takes an active intrest,but she loves me too bits so ofcourse she would.
but there well hidden,and i feel like if anybody found out it would be real humilating.i like he fact that its private in a wierd way,its my thing

My girlfriend...and all my close friends for that matter, know about my collecting( I don't play, just collect). She thinks my wrestling obsession is cute and different...

Not really, besides if a friend comes over I might just hide them but I only did that once and I don't think I will do it again.

This is a great topic. I'm 31 and at an earlier stage in my life I found it hard to come out the closet with my hobby to my peers and family but then realized I wasn't the only one as I found people here, at work, and in stores also collect figures and play with them. Although I don't play with them like I use to I enjoy those moments when I do.

I'm never been embarrassed collecting figures. My brother is 23 years old and I'm 14 and still we collect figures all over the world. When it comes to people saying why I'm collecting figs, I simply reply "I'm a wrestling "lunatic" "

I've got my whole collection in boxes at this point because i'm single and it's just something I don't want to explain to potential suitors, at least not at first. Exactly what i think. |

When I did buy and play with figures no. If I felt like playing with figures now I wouldn't feel embarrassed. I can do what I want, it's not like it hurts anyone.
But if a girl asks me about myself, I'm hardly going to say "Yeah I just love to seat down and play with my wrestling figures... do you want to play with my figures?"

Nah I'm not embarassed, but it's not something I talk alot about either. Of course my gf knows, and she doesn't like it too much. But just last night she saw my latest setup (I had previously had most of my figs boxed) and she said something like, "We're going to have to have a room for your wrestling figures when we move out, aren't we?" And of course I said, "yes."  Oh and I'm 24 btw. |
