Well Im 20 and Ive been collecting since Ive been 14. So my parrents could care less about it. I just keep all of my stuff in my spare room. And whenever I have friends over I just try to avoid going near the room. But there is ocassions where I show my good friends my some of my collection. Not the whole thing because I dont want them thinking that Im a freak. Anyways Im not to embarssed about it. It just depends on who Im showing it to.

I feel weird buying them at TRU
When i walk in, i'll pass the isle to make sure no1's in there...i'll look through and get out with what i want as quickly as possible. I really only buy 2-3 figs a month, and am only buyin those BNB now, and the rare RA or CS here and there
oh, i'm 21, and i do play with my figs....but i have my twin 6 year old sisters who love wrestling, so i play with them

I am probably the oldest person on here at the age of 31. I am not embarrassed at all. I actually have a lot of people compliment me on my collection. I was a kid when the old school WWF LJN figures came out and I loved them. I kept them over all of my other toys. I also use to have the AWA figures, but I would buy the He-Man figures also and would use them as wrestlers. Make up my own gimmicks as a kid. Plus I needed my "enhancement wrestlers". I kept a couple of the AWA guys and have most of my WWF LJNs. They are up in a plastic tote in my office closet. Now to the new school collection. I had bought a few here and there and always wanted to collect the Classics. I never bought them and when I was divorced and went through a lot of stuff (depression over my father passing) I needed something to keep me interested. I was just going to go to all of the Toys R Us in Florida (and I did) and just get the ones there and collect from then on. I then decided to buy on Ebay and others and now I am the proud owner of the whole WWE Classics Collection. Most of the rare ones also. Just like 5 total I do not have.
I have them on my living room wall (singles), my computer room wall (dinning room), and kitchen. I also have a lot of older ones in my office. I also collect the McFarlane baseball and football figures and take them out of the package. The Classics are MOC. I also have all of the Fury's out of box and on my computer in my computer room.
I have had a lot of wrestlers over at my house and they all love the collection. They go nuts over it and think it is cool. Wrestlers who have been in ROH, FIP and many other shows. I also have had a few guys who wrestled for WCW and they think it is cool. They say I am a mark, but think they are cool. My latest figure was a figure of Ox Baker on an Indy show. Him and Tony Atlas were on the show. I went to a local bar next to the Armory with one of the wrestlers girlfriends who is a friend of mine and we proceeded to get plastered. I then went back and paid like $20 for his figure.
Sorry for my ramblings, but if you are a collector and embarrassed, DON'T BE. There are a lot of wrestlers that collect and love figures. Heck fire I know a guy who collected all of the LJNs and had them in package until a few years ago and sold them.
One last thing to the single men, I have had a few girls over from ages 21-33. They all have liked them and thought they were awesome. Especially, the belt collection I have. Only 1 chick thought it was childish and I never called her back. I even had a chick come over after going out, 22, and all she did was talk about the darn figures. Then she passed out. Then when she woke up she talked more about wrestling figures.

One last thing I forgot after the last 10 page post. I have a buddy of mine, who is like 25, and he collects also. Most of his is older and out of package. He has a lot of MOC, but mostly all over his house. Like 20 rings and massive amounts of figures. His wife loves Shawn Michaels, so they get along pretty well. She fell for his collection, lol.

Well I'm 23 but I don't care what others think about me playing with/collecting figures. I've been doing it since I was little and never lost interest as I got older. Its a great way for my creativity to come out. I have 5 feds actually and I'm quite serious about running them all.

Im not embarassed at all. Its a hobby of mine. I like collecting and Im not afraid to say it to anyone, nor do I care What they think about it. Im sure it may seem childish to some, immature to others. To me its something I like to do. Just like playing or watching sports, sketching, playing my guitar, listening to my favorite bands. Its who I am.
