Jeff Jarret: "This company is about giving new talent a chance! That's why I'm bringing in Mick Foley!" If they really wanted to give guys time to shine, they'd stop raiding WWE's garbage bin. Why is Jarret building himself as some sort of wrestling god? You brought in Angle to fill your shoes? Really? Angle is arguably the greatest wrestler/sports entertainer of all time...hate to break it to you, but you aren't even close Jarret. It's pathetic that they have to resort to worked shoots to create a buzz... TNA is a joke. They have all the potential but manage to it up. Good point. Jarrett is good, but he is not anywhere near Kurt Angle's league. I am 100% vehind Sting's side. Sting, Angle, Christian and Booker T are wrestlers I have respected for years and will not lose respect just because Joe and Jarrett say we should and respect them. Sting winning the title from Joe will make me ecstatic, because that will probably be his last title reign. Mick Foley better not start making fun of WWE after everything they did for him. WWE made Mick Foley a legend in the business in my opinion. Angle and Christian will be back in WWE at some point at least I hope so. Sting's promo was great as well saying he paid his dues. Jarrett is no wrestling. Joe saying Sting hasn't paid his dues is bs. Sting has a private life and spends it with his family big deal. Sting does his part to help TNA. Isn't it Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett who arranged Sting's current deal? It's such bs to listen to them pick on sting's legacy. He is my favorite wrestler and carried a company for a time namely WCW. In reference to the veterans not getting out of the way, what the hell is Jarrett talking about. WCW was losing business more rapidly when Jarrett was champion and he dominated the championship scene as soon as he entered WCW in 1999, that's a fact. Sting wasn't even around. Christian is more likely than Angle. You don't run your mouth than think the door is always going to be open.

Anyway
So what the point of this thread is I guess was to state that to a degree maybe the youngins in the fed don't respect the vets either. I kinda doubt that save for Carlito.

The sting hate even leaks over onto this board?
Anyway..
yeah, if the E had anyone cutting promos like that, maybe it would be entertaining again..

No, because then it would be like watching WCW again with the New Blood and the old men. Always bitching....non-stop. It's not as exciting as you'd think.

That would be pretty cool if Taker came out and just told Triple H off. HAHA. But no new guy in the WWE is over like that for Vince to stick his neck out for them.

Can this thread off to the TNA board or be locked as it really has little relevance here other than to get TNA into the WWE Board. If you wanna bitch about Triple H & The Undertaker & Shawn Michaels make a thread about them.

I'm here to listen to people bash WWE like this board is always doing. Having an actual interesting conversation, even if it is arguing is more fun reading and replying to than listen to another member bash Batista for a few paragraphs. But this is WF They close everything when someone slightly gets out of line..like my post on 'gay' people about a week ago, that was actually pro gay people..YAY WF MODS

I like Christian and I would like to see him continue success in WWE. Maybe one day he will be WWE champion or World heavyweight champion in a great championship feud with Edge, not the forgettable feud from '01.

The point I got from the Foley thing at the end was that Jarrett had decided that Foley was going to replace Kurt Angle (who replaced Jarrett) as the "top dog veteran" in TNA. But it was pretty silly to throw that in there after the whole rant about TNA being for the youngsters.

The promo was well delivered but the heavy stench of hypocrisy ruined it for me. If Jarrett truly believed what he said AJ Styles and Samoa Joe wouldn't be the only credible main eventers TNA has developed in the last four years of national tv exposure, and Jarrett wouldn't need to be cutting this promo to begin with.

I think this is going to be a very good fued... and i'm not a big tna fan.
It follows Mick Foley's principals of both sides need to believe they are in the right and so far the promo's have been very good

I sometimes randomly browse TNA's website to get up to date with things they do and caught this promo. Wow, I was very impressed.

I actually watched Impact last night, and I thought that was a great movie.

Remind me again, why did I ever stop watching TNA? Because it's rubbish? I watched Impact for the first time in months last night, and it was a lot better than the last time! Still not great, but I like that they have a solid storyline running throughout. Also, with chicago on the "Jarrett as TNA's Triple H" thing which made it seem odd that he was defending the young guys. And on the "this is a shoot" thing - when a guy says "this is a shoot" are we supposed to think that his promo is real and everything else on the show is fake? It's stupid. It's like an episode of 24 where Keifer Sutherland is in the middle of shooting some terrorists and then stops to sign an autograph for a fan that wanders onto the set. We know the show isn't real, but it should at least pretend to be for the duration of itself! See, I'm not one to compare TNA and WWE much anymore, because they're two totally different styles trying to appeal to two different audiences and I think bot do it well to a certain extent. I hardly watch wrestling anymore, I simply don't have the time for it. I've lost a lot of passion for it recently, but that promo put some fire in my eyes that I haven't had for quite a long time by watching WWE. It just had a lot of feel to it. Lately, WWE storylines and promos have felt so empty.

You're very, very wrong actually. I like TNA but they're doing WWE style, and trying to do it better with the star power they have. At the same time, they're trying to use all their talent, putting them into shitty gimmicks which makes the show go very far down the toilet.

Way better than Sting's recent promos. He's starting to sound like the old Ultimate Warrior promos. SAMOA JOE! You need to learn who paved the way, Samoa Joe. Samoa Joe, you need to learn respect, that's right, you, Samoa Joe, need to learn respect. Respect, Samoa Joe, Respect.I almost wanted to count how many times he said Joe's name. When I watched TNA last night I couldn't help but laugh as every 3rd word out of Stings mouth was "Joe". I was like "how many ing times is he going to say Joe?!" The same thing Joe does Kurt Angle
