As a collector from Germany I am in the same situation (or even worse because I do not even get the UK stuff). I really wonder why you guys keep pushing this issue so much. It has always been like this and will stay like this. There are ways to work this around. I have never had any issues with ordering US only stuff if I really wanted to. At the end it is just a question of how much it will cost you and if it is worth it to you. Bloody diplomatic Germans coming in here with their sense and logic. GET OUTTA HERE

“Our focus is within the states” I think that says it all, really. If Mattel made UK exclusive NXT UK figures and you own a store in the UK that sells them, would you ship to the US? What?

Hey guys, This line really bothers me I know it just came out and we are going to support it but is anyone tired of seeing them give us the bucks when they were in series 1 already and now in series 3 does anyone prefer that or does everyone wanna see newer faces in the line Like Britt, Red Velvet, Sonny Kiss , Kip ETC? Tired? 3 series, you’re tired? Go to bed.

I got mine in the post this morning. I'm happy with it.
I think it does have a slight bootleg feel to it. But yunno what? I love that. Its of the times. If they released figures at the same time as Hasbro, they wouldn't have been able to match the quality. Having said that, I haven't actually let it breathe yet, but I will at some point, most likely, and I'll get a better feel for it.
I look forward to seeing their next series.

I can't help buy appreciate how hard (or should I say H.A.R.D?) Cardona leans into the gimmick. He's got music, he's screaming commentary. It's very endearing in a kind of obnoxious bro type way.

Sounds like I’m in the minority, but, I’d love Hasbro styled AEW wrestlers even if it’s only the current talent. I think guys like Luchasaurus and the Young Bucks and Pentagon and Darby Allin have very cool looks or bright attires that would translate well to the Hasbro style. If this does happen, I’d be all in (pun intended). If they made an Orange Cassidy he could just be molded plastic and wouldn’t move, like an old Galoob figure. But, to each their own. I agree, 100%. If they make them I'll buy them.

I imagine if this does well there will be more licenses picked up in future.

This thread really exemplifies what the outside world thinks of wrestling figure collectors.

As a pretty casual buyer of wrestling figures, i really need to ask a question regarding the rare/chase figures, and no offence intended to anyone...
Do you NEED to buy every figure that ever comes out? If a "scalper" has one for $300 on eBay, could you just like, not buy it?
I'm confused by the anti-chase sentiment. I don't know why you'd be angry at a company for making them. If all 500 rare figures are bought up by Walmart Steve and put on eBay for $500 a piece, if you didn't buy them, Walmart Steve wouldn't be in the scalpers business anymore.

AEW have made it a point to do their own thing and not be WWE-lite in their TV product. I'd be surprised if they cared whether or not their brand new figure line matched up with WWE Mattels scale-wise.

So what kind of sets would you want Lego to make? Wrestling is quite limited to arena with ring. Backstage areas? Piper’s pit? Heartbreak Hotel? Boiler room brawl? Benoit’s weights room?

I wouldn't call it a boycott, but i haven't been the least bit interested in wrestling merch since the retro line died.

Be interesting if they pick up on the frustration caused by the Mattel retro hiatus and hasbro dig out their old molds for some AEW hasbro action! this is the dream, for me

Wrestling shop sold out really quickly. I was fortunate enough to get my order in in time. I remember having a feeling series 10 would be it, and saying as long as I have Diesel I consider it a success. I’m not overly downbeat about them going on hiatus.
But of course if they came back I’d buy them.

Anyone else thinks the Diesel retro looks off, especially facial likeness? Too cartoonish/generic, no details. Sunglasses obscure any likeness. 94 champ Diesel would have been better than 93 mullet. The cartoonish likeness is more Hasbro-esque than the rest of the line, so if anything its the other figures that should look off, not this one. Also, this is the exact Diesel I wanted. No white tank top, no flowing locks. I wanted mullet, shades, all-black Diesel.
