Team Extreme. Jeff, Lita, and a headless 3rd guy that may or may not have the same body proportions of Matt. Oh wait, what’s this hidden in the packaging? Musta been some sort of mixup and one of the Brood Matt heads somehow slipped in. I’d buy that and hope for the accident haha

Well, that’s been known, but yes. All four years of this voting survey have produced a legends figure as the top vote getter.
... I've been here for a year.
This was my first real year end poll. I was around for the 2019 one, but I wasn't very active on the board quite yet.
But yes, I figured out very quickly within that year that most of the people on this forum don't give a spit about what's happening right now with the product. Or, if they do, it's not their preferred era.
I honestly think I'm one of the select few on here that doesn't care about pre-Attitude Era figures. Outside of wanting one of ever woman ever, I'm not really interested in anything before October 26th, 1998, and very little between 2004 and 2016 appeals to me. I skipped almost the entirety of the RA era, as well as everything between then and 2016. I'm interested in the stuff from when I watched and, well, that's when I watched. I'm starting to drift backwards, slowly. I'm considering trying to assemble a SHIELD set to fix up with better heads. But in general, yeah. Legends don't appeal to me.
And that makes me in the severe minority on here.
Why October 26th? What happened hat date specifically for you?

Not getting a team extreme after missing the boat on the flashback Dudley boys is a big miss.

Warrior winning is mind boggling to me. I personally voted Mr T as that was a bucket list figure for years.
I get the symbolism behind why people wanted the warrior figure, but I think if that had come out in February it doesn’t win personally.

Double edged sword. The scalpers and a bit of manufactured scarcity have made figures seem way more valuable than they are and now others are coming in and adding to the problem is some respects.
As far as variety and quality thought, hands down the best era.

Hey guys. Myself along with a couple of buddies have started a wrestling figure podcast (The 3 Points of Articulation) a few months ago and one of our segments we'll pick a burning topic and talk in detail, aptly named "Break it Down" ... Anyway, in our next episode we are going to discuss the possibility of Jazwares doing an Legends line so wanted to conduct a bit of research if possible so it appears I know what I'm talking about  So with that said, what are the some of the obstacles in the way of Jazwares using certain wrestlers and/or characters? I realise it can't be anyone that is under a WWE Legends deal which I'm assuming will exclude the likes of Jake Roberts and Dusty Rhodes due to their recent Mattel releases. Dustin Rhodes from his WCW days seems a Natural way to go. Would any copyright issues be apparent due to it being a WCW (now WWE) name/likeness? Same for any version of Sting. Those are just some examples of things I thought off the top of my head. What are some of the barriers we may see if Jazwares decide to launch this line? Legal and copyright issues in particular. What can and can't they do? If you want to give us a follow we are predominantly active on Facebook at www.fb.me/the3poa and also have a Twitter @3articulation  Gonna download and check it out now by the way.

Alot of the choices they have made for Michaels have been disappointing. We have almost no 1997 figures, the only one I can think of besides the Ultimate Edition is the RSC Exclusive. We have one HBK in red, which is surprising because for a while there, Mattel only designed figures in black and red it felt like. The Elite 17/Lost legends figure is from Badd Blood 1997. That said, I agree completely. Mattel has really left a lot to be desired from the 1996-97 HBK period, which is odd considering he was the top guy for a vast majority of it. To answer the initial poster, RR 97 is up there with 1998 Taker as far as figures I;m shocked we haven't gotten. Seems like such an easy slam dunk. 97 is one era of Shawn I don’t need. As someone who splits their shelves in losse chronological order I have 3 on that shelf already. Badd Blood, Survior series and DX IYH.

To be more patient and not get new figures on eBay right away. Also to be a little more selective and not buy ever flashback.
Also echo a lot of the sentiments about the influencer path the hobby has followed this year. It’s made it a lot worse and I don’t care how much those getting the perks shout that it’s better.

I’d take Macho if I could only have one, but I also have Hayes. Undertaker I have so many of and I don’t collect modern so it’s a pass for me.

I’d buy just about anyone as I’m all in and have the set loose. That said I’d prefer older guys and them to focus on one era per set.

Lex Luger - WCW or Wolfpack Sgt Slaughter - Iraq or commissioner Mick Foley - Commissioner Xpac/123 Kid - Heel kid or street clothes xpac debut

For the sake of the debate, what can be achieved with them that couldn’t be done with an Ultimate? I’m no expert so am genuinely asking.

Jakks made more for sure, but no Macho and no Stramboat to me is worth more than about 10 lower card guys who missed out on Mattel.
Having said that I want so many characters in Mattel form still.
We can never be pleased haha
