I had no idea about these. I've seen one specific figure MOC pop up on eBay at times for $100, but never anything else. I'll share this with the second biggest expert on Titanes, Kurt "Vandal Drummond" Brown, I'm sure he'll get a kick out of this I just checked there's more than that one MOC figure.

Around the early 2000's I saw a picture of Hasbro Tatanka with a 1982 MOTU Skeletor's loinpiece. Didn't look bad actually.

how tall are these statues? If you had clicked the link, you would've known... (It said: 1/16 scale statue measuring around 4.5-6 inches tall.)

For as big a star Yoko would become soon, it seems no one knew just how to say his name. Mr. Fuji called him Yokozuma, Bobby Heenan called him Yokozuno and Virgil called him Yakazuna. Well Mr. Fuji should've known that Yokozuna is the highest one can get in Sumo wrestling...

Nice collection, just a remark: Steamboat's accessory is a cape, it should be down.

Did they really not know how to spell Tatanka? Weird Ron Rudat was figure designer at Hasbro - a toy company. These sketches were for internal use. They weren't exactly WWF fans. Besides, even the graphics person of WWF often spelled names wrong onscreen; Hossien Arab instead of Hossein Arab (the Iron Sheik), Brett Hart instead of Bret Hart. When calling a match, 9 out of 10 times Lord Alfred Hayes would say Jimmy Powers instead of Jim Powers. Even wrestling fans write Lex Lugar instead of Lex Luger, Iron Shiek instead of Iron Sheik.

Very nice collection!
While I do have OSFTM CMLL and Kelian AAA figures in my collection, both MOC & loose, I only own a complete MOC set of the four Future Toys CMLL container figures.

The yellow cards read (c)1992. So they were quick with heel Shawn Michaels, Kona Crush and Razor Ramon. Nailz first entered the ring in May 1992 to attack the Big Boss Man, they'd end their feud at Survivor Series in November 1992. By Fall '92 Nailz started another feud: with Undertaker. They did have a non-televised match (a fan filmed version is on Youtube). In December 1992 Nailz allegedly attacked Vince in his office and was fired. So Nailz was also quickly produced by Hasbro; Nailz didn't even wrestle for a year in the WWF, but fought: Virgil, Big Boss Man, Sgt. Slaughter and the Undertaker. I was just basing my comments off the fact that the series hit retail in August 93'. They probably did plan the series and may have done art and/or prototypes in 92'. Pretty much seems in line with most of the Hasbro series, probably about a year in planning/production until final release. That being said, Nailz was rushed or Vince wanted revenge: Nailz was billed as 6'5", but his figure is smaller than Michaels. Yes I know: Nailz had DiBiase 1's legs.

I actually never thought the yellow card set was very timely at all. Unless I'm wrong on timelines here, but off the top of my head: Owen was done with the New Foundation run almost a year by the time the figure came out. Shawn had turned heel in late 91/early 92'. Razor debuted in fall of 92' Crush debuted in Kona Crush look in mid 92' And I don't remember Nailz or Kamala doing much of note after Fall 92. The yellow cards read (c)1992. I once read Outback Jack claiming to get a tag title run with Hillbilly Jim (could've been with Billy Jack Haynes or Corporal Kirchner), it didn't happen in the end.
Wasn't Tatanka supposed to have an IC-title run that got cancelled?

Very skeptical about the bagged Warrior that just surfaced. Seeing Hogan, Savage and now Warrior with warning stickers on the bags Plastic looks brand spanking new as well ? Strange for that baggie to look that way almost 30 years later. My Hogan 2 bag is printed, not stickered...

Theres a POP thread in the 'Other Toys and Collectibles' section. WWE/Wrestling POP Vinyls can be discussed here as well: Funko is another brand producing wrestling figures.

Hi, I’m new here and I was looking for some help. I’ve recently acquired some WCW Toymax buddies, I believe they are UK exclusives - Rick Steiner and Sting. Does anyone have any information on them? Rarity? I can’t seem to find much information on them at all bar some very old forum posts from here. Does anyone have any idea of worth? Thanks for your help guys Hard items to value a price, they are very very very rare, I think I own all WCW Buddies except these 2. I have seen Rick Steiner appear more on Ebay then Sting. Both would sell for MASSIVE money. especially if you have 2 bidders fighting off against each other for them. Sting is definitely rarer than Rick, but like I say both are extremely rare and pop up on Ebay once in a blue moon. Rarity depends on location. Like I said before; this is a collector's forum. This ain't a forum to check to flip an item. Locking this now.

Welcome, well this is a collector's forum. Happy collecting!
You acquired them you say, so the value is what it cost you.
Basically it's worth what someone is willing to pay at that moment.

Preference indeed. Personally I prefer English cards. I passed on a Spanish card Bushwhackers today at ComicCon Brussels as well as on a Spanish card WCW Galoob Tom Zenk.
