I've had so many times over the past month headed to the site to look at the boards on any given movie and forgotten they're gone ![:(](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/sad.gif) Like countless times!

Someone hook me up with a bracket to work off of!! I've only got like an hour!! Based just on ESPN chatter the past few days you can't go wrong if you: Pick at least two 12 seeds and two 10 seeds to win in the first round. Final four: Duke, Arizona, UCLA, Kansas with either Duke or UCLA winning it all - your choice depending on which coast you live on or just flip a coin. Having said all that, I went with UNC to win it all because the last time I won one of these pools, UNC came out on top and sealed the deal for me. Thanks for the info. Duke can suck it as far as I'm concerned. Also the Ball family are already a nightmare so I might go with Arizona on top for an upset. That won it for me last time ha

Heaven forbid they get rid of a general manager/authority figure all together and come up with something new!

No thanks!
While I think there's a lot to learn from MMA/UFC for WWE in realism/storytelling I don't want to watch a pretend version of a sport I already don't particularly want to watch.
I'll stick to my blue trunks with the yellow stars for now

Just out of curiosity do you guys really hold his films on that high of a pedestal? I love and will always love Clerks and I think that's his crowning jewel but to me the only thing that comes even close to that is Chasing Amy from everything else I've seen. I've always thought everything else he's done is pretty vastly overrated. Mallrats being an example of one that I can barely get through. Don't get me wrong, I wish the show were distributed because I have a soft spot for those types of things and I think there's definitely something to be said for malls and the absolute wastelands they've become in all of our lives that could be fun, but I don't see using his name in the same breath as someone like Tarantino. Haven't watched Jay and Silent Bob since it came out but I remember it just being goofy fun and not really something for him to be touting a 'big reveal' over. I do hold Kev's flicks in the highest regard, but they connected to my life and lifestyle (Mallrat) around the time I saw them. He spoke for a generation, or what some thought they were/wanted to be. We got to see people who acted us on screen and did what we did. Stuff that we could imitate, to an extent. Now it is for nostalgia, respect, and love to a time past. Tarantino, and most other filmmakers for that matter, I just do not have the connection with. The material, ala screenplay, characters, and specific actors, make them more gems to me than do the directors. Then again, I like stuff shot on a handycam too... it is just all a matter of what I am looking for and how it gets to me, at that moment. I suppose I get that. Don't get me wrong, I don't have that connection with Tarantino either, oddly enough. I despise Pulp Fiction and really am mostly barely enticed by what he's coming up with, but I can see how he's placed in a different category. But you're right in that what you resonate with is really all that matters and clearly a lot of people resonated with Smith so maybe just because I don't (other than being a film major and loving Clerks) doesn't mean it isn't possible for others.

Definitely a shame. I've gone in twice now forgetting that they're gone to look up and talk about some pretty obscure stuff and it's definitely disappointing. Like who is going to want to talk about Cemetery Man on reddit or Twitter? You could post a 'Tell me about Cemetery Man' somewhere and hope that some people are looking for the same thing but there's really something to the centralized availability of a message board.

Just got both Raph and Donnie in the mail. I am not a fan of large scale figures but these are next level. Been waiting a long time for exactly this and until the magic day a 6" line shows up which is likely never, these are basically perfect. I really can't imagine them looking any better. Now all I have to do is keep from buying the custom Dominos boxes I keep seeing on instagram and having patience while I wait for the other two. Of course Michaelangelo is my favorite and he is last! Gah! You are right, man. They are essentially perfect. The only thing I wish is that Raph had come with some sort of accessory other than a bunch of hands and the pizza, besides his sais. Donnie came with the ooze canister at least. It's weird that instead of another accessory, Raph comes with a duplicate pair of hands that are already on the figure. Like, why did we need those hands twice? Why couldn't he have come with the "Jose Canseco" bat? A hat/trench coat?....or even just the HAT if they want to wait for the coat to be the accessories pack? That is my ONLY complaint is that Raphael didn't get the extra accessorie that Donnie did. I hear you on that. Do those hands fit Donnie? At least there's that incase one of the others don't come with that type. But the bat would have been legit.

I feel a little nuts sometimes for it but I have definitely enjoyed Little Earthquakes. Never gone much further than that, though.

Oh man!!! That's amazing. I would love that. Not sure I could feel good about spending 100 bucks to shrink something down haha. But it's a shame the licensing is as tied up as it is. If Playmates attempts weren't so mediocre I'd be happier about it.

Thanks. This is going to be the longest I've waited for a toy in like at least 15 years haha I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for these. Obviously the 1/4 scale is not ideal, but I understand the legalities behind it. Playmates has the rights to the 6" scale at retail. But no turtles figures that have EVER come out have been true to the Jim Henson suits. Even when they've claimed them to be "movie figures" they've always been stylized in someway that differentiated from their true movie appearances. Either the faces were off, or they gave each turtle a different skin color.... I guess the closest thing we'd ever gotten before NECA 1/4 was the TMNT II "movie star" figures. The Jim Henson suits in figure form is a major holy grail for all TMNT collectors, even in the 1/4 scale. People want Shredder and/or Splinter to be next. I'm on board with a movie Shredder. So much of the face is covered that even if they couldn't get the rights to James Saito's likeness, that it would probably still look great. Maybe try and get François Chau from TMNT II instead. Splinter, I'm not so sure. The fur might not look realistic enough if they go all plastic. And if they actually use real fur, it might come off looking like a teddy bear, so I just think that one would be tough to pull off. I'm right there with you. The Movie Star figures will always be a personal love of mine, but I've been waiting forever for these as well. Shame about the 6" but like you said, these will do. If they do a Splinter and Shredder I'm on board for those too. I am definitely not normally a fan of 1/4 scale (the closest I've had are some of those 8-9 inch ToyBiz Marvel figures back in the day) but I will absolutely take these over nothing any day of the week. I was moderately scared I had missed out. TMNT II wouldn't have satisfied me, either. This is basically going to be the holy grail of not just toys but probably anything I've ever owned ha. I did get the deluxe 'The First Turtle' figure from Mondo and even as awesome as that is it will pale in comparison to these for me.

I also pulled the trigger on Raph and Don yesterday after thinking I had basically missed out on these. Anyone know when the other two are tentatively coming? I've been looking high and low and am seeing all different answers, none from NECA. Leo will come out sometime between April - June. (Q2) Mikey will come out sometime between July - September. (Q3) No specific dates yet, just the financial quarters which they are scheduled for. Thanks. This is going to be the longest I've waited for a toy in like at least 15 years haha

Creed was awesome and exactly how 'rebootquelmakes' should be executed. So much consistency, awesome story telling, thought and heart put into it. That having been said, where does it really go from here? I don't think the story is that interesting anymore. The thing that left Creed feeling so special is that hey, maybe Apollo Creed's son simply ISN'T as special as Apollo Creed. But at least he found the love of his woman and his 'uncle' in the meantime and that's his real triumph.
They could go into the whole 'Rocky vs. Opponent' that the other sequels did but that is easily the 2nd best sequel only to Rocky Balboa and I feel like going any further would just be a cash grab. But then, if people want to watch those popcorn boxing movies like Rocky IV, why not?

I took my barely 4 year old niece to Ghostbusters with my dad and brothers and she was surprisingly well behaved. This is in contrast with a couple of what looked like 5-6 year olds who were being absolutely obnoxious and dancing around the entire time. She was for sure itching to join in but managed to stick with being good. So I would also agree it definitely depends on the kid, the day, and probably also the movie.
