PRICE IS OFFICIAL! Only 80$!!!!! Will be posting photos soon I suspect some people won’t see the question part and think I have update. I know it’s set to launch May 15th, 12:00PM EST. Does anyone have any updates on a likely price? I’m frothing at the mouth for this set and NEED to know any details.
While I disapprove of outright scalping, feel free to sell or trade any figures you don’t want from the set since you’re only paying 20$ a figure, and there’s likely lots of buyers who want just one or two people from the set who don’t want the others.
The Ali can easily be converted into any different announcer if you are handy with paint for the exposed neck skin, or you can make your announcer wear a scarf or additional fabric to make the shirt a higher neck. To change the arms, just apply a hairdryer about four inches or so from the shoulder, move the dryer around the shoulder throughly for at least 90 seconds, and do the same to the arms you wish to replace the original arms with, and you can then use any head you like for an additional old school announcer to make the most of the purchase.

This notion of being inducted more than once is ridiculous on the face of it. Not saying people aren’t deserving, but when you are inducted, it’s for your BODY OF WORK. In some cases, I'd say multiple inductions are cool. Mostly I'd keep it a solo thing tho. I have since learned a semi reasonable justification for multiple inductions and have amended some of my opinions accordingly.

This notion of being inducted more than once is ridiculous on the face of it. Not saying people aren’t deserving, but when you are inducted, it’s for your BODY OF WORK. I agree it's a little overdone as it is. Of course, there are always going to be exceptions. Shawn is already inducted, but he absolutely deserves separate recognition if they ever put The Rockers in. They were one of the most influential WWF tag teams ever with their high-flying style that inspired an entire generation of future wrestlers. The same can be said for Degeneration X. It is when people also lump in an nWo induction where they lose me as at that point it is just kind of padding the stats. Even for a fictional accolade with no physical location to be showcased like a Cooperstown, there should be some parameters and limitations to keep the whole thing at least a little exclusive. When we start adding in every faction and lesser-knowm gimmick it really waters everything down even more than it already is. I get that. In my mind, I had concluded that the logical response to Shawn being indicted was that his work in the rockers was also being honored since that’s part of his body of work.

I view it like the Rock n Roll HOF. Beatles getting shouldn’t mean Paul, John, or George shouldn’t also get recognition for their post-Beatles work. Dave Grohl definitely should be recognized for Foo Fighters down the road. You know what, I can understand that argument. Thank you. I guess my understanding was that a wrestler is honored for the positives of their body of work.

Is Billy Graham just a rerelease? The original elite SBG boots were pink, his tie dye was from a different pair of purple and white with a lighter shade of purple, and this one doesn’t have the tie dyed wristbands. It also has the new double joint arms from Steiner’s elite and a brand new a shirt! I’m so hyped.

Use a paint varnish to seal the paint, and use thin coats of paint to get a more factory looking finish and less likely to peel.

Did anyone notice that they showed a modified 2K24 cover on Raw? Rhea Ripley’s attire was from one of the Crown Jewel shows.

That’s a fair counterpoint to a certain degree. Even the best athletes have limits. Even with amazing physical therapy. Especially if this is the same knee he was out with for 6 months in 2015-16. I just want Seth to be okay and it’s the responsibility of the promotion to protect the boys from themselves. And if pushing through it for Mania is gonna be worse long term, he needs to take time off. Seth still has 5 years where he can basically mimic his physical peak and will only become a more valuable main eventer through his early 40s. He tore his ACL (as well as MCL and meniscus) in 2015. Recovery time for an ACL tear is 6-9 months. Recovering from an injury is recovering from an injury. This injury isn’t nearly as severe as the knee one in 2015 was. I’m glad it’s not as long, cause holy crap an AcL tear is scary and ligament tears in general are just awful.

Depending on how bad the tear is and the Meniscus injury, he could be out for six months. For most people who aren’t professional athletes, you can go back to normal life of working at Walmart and sitting on the couch watching anime. But this is someone who wrestles at the highest level year round. As important as Mania is, he already was out for almost a year with knee injuries in 2016. This could be career threatening depending on how bad it is. On the flip side, someone who is active and in good shape/health will most likely heal quicker. Not to mention the physical therapy from top notch doctors. While the average person working at Walmart, sitting on the couch probably isn’t going to heal quickly. Torn MCLs can’t heal in just a month. Good thing April is a good 2+ months (8 weeks) away. Depending on how bad the tear is and the Meniscus injury, he could be out for six months. Why is AJ Styles dressing like a truck driver? He looks like a generic henchmen for a crime show on the ing hallmark rip off networks. He literally looks like an interchangeable goon stealing cars in a movie that went straight to dvd. He looks like how he dresses so no one would recognize him at the airport. It’s like someone stole his gear and Vince is making his wrestle in street clothes as a hazing ritual back when Vince was in charge. I can’t wrap my head around it.

Make the Rumble for the vacant World title. Have Punk win and defend at Wrestlemania. If Seth is good to go by then, him. If not we have a few options. Torn MCLs can’t heal in just a month.

I’m absolutely with Vince on this one. I hate the thought of anything but a clean ring, that isn’t dated or sullied by involvement of a sponsor. You can have it on the LED screen and maybe run it at different intervals, but please not on the canvas.

I would say TV appearances while keeping the matches secial makes more sense. He's one of the biggest names. I wanted to share some of these fun facts now that Punk is back. His last Steel Cage(not hell in a cell) match was on July 10th, 2012 against the Big Show at a non-televised card. Punk's last match against AJ Styles was on an independent show in 2004. The last time Punk was in the ring with Seth Rollins(before now) and with John Cena and Roman Reigns all happened at once on the December 18th, 2013 episode of Smackdown(#748) in a two on three handicap tag match of Punk and Cena against the Shield. Punk wrestled less than 15 matches each year he was with AEW, and 2021 was Punk's most dominant year ever by percentages with a 100% win rate(take that how you will since it was only 9 bouts) CM Punk's last singles match in WWE was against BILLY GUNN. Also Billy Gunn never stopped working and didn't have his last WWE match until 2015 which was a tag match for NXT with Finn Balor. WTF?

Same, but I feel like there are one or two torsos that would work better. The Terry funk/Arn Anderson torso in tan would be good. For his elites? That torso wouldn’t work for Randy. If anything the Flair/Sheamus torso would be better than the original Ziggler torso they give him. Okay. I was thinking the torso was a little bigger since the goal was to make Randy look bigger but not absurdly bigger.
