At the end of the day who do people remember more? Sting was in the business a lot longer and was massive but Ultimate Warrior was running Hulk Hogan close during his prime in the golden era. Nobody else can say that. In the 1988-1992 era Ultimate Warrior was over like very few ever get over while Sting was knocking around in the minor league. Ultimate Warrior was headlining wm6 against the biggest name in industry history while Sting could only look on with envy. Ultimate Warrior was wrestling in a career ending natch against Randy Savage while Sting could only look on with envy. Ultimate Warrior made the save at wm8 while Sting could only look on with envy. Sting was in the business so much longer but he cannot hold a candle to the Ultimate Warrior plain and simple but that's play because very few can... good post! Many old fans prob remeber warrior quite fondly but never even watched sting until attitude era.

Best of the WWF #12 (WF041) 06/27/87 Ricky Steamboat vs. Kamala For it did happen! Kamala was victorious too because I remember watching that Coliseum Video. There you go lol I had a feeling that they did but don't remember and since Kamala was the "Ugandan Giant" he DID face a giant in the WWF thanks. yeah i said in orginal post he only wrestled kamala 3 times and vader in wcw a few times.

Wow. No one has said Koko B. Ware yet? We’re talking about people who are essential here he's a needed fig for me! the whole piledriver album 2 was a HUGE memory for me and a great time in my life. koko was such a big part of it. but with only 5 choices i have others higher than him.

Bravo would be #2, but he will NEVER happen, with Mattel anyway.

I would say Sting had a much better, longer career. But it depends on how you measure. Warrior reached a greater height during his peak. Going over Hogan clean at Mania 6, it gets no bigger than that as a career highlight. But the Stinger had a greater catalogue of big matches, better matches against a wide variety of opponents, spanning a much longer period of time. sting had the overall better career for sure, but warrior had the 1 bigger moment out of the 2 beating hogan at WM6.

Here's a match with Studd in Mid Atlantic circa 79. But yeah I wouldve liked for him to face more bigger guys.He always had great selling so that would've added to the matches as well.Bret did well with big guys so Steamboat would be no exception. The stuff he did with Vader in WCW was excellent. yeah he wrestled them a few times in late 70's/early 80's, but never in the golden era. kinda weird.

I wonder why?
No matches vs Andre, Studd, Bundy, Bigelow, One Man Gang, Akeem, Bossman, or Earthquake.
He wrestled a few of them in tag matches in Japan or battle royals but never any single matches.
He only wrestled Kamala 3 times, and wrestled Vader a few times in WCW and thats it.
Wonder if he just didnt like wrestling big guys or something. Esp Andre, Studd, Bundy, One Man Gang who were all heels while he was there as well as Earthqauke in 1991.

I enjoyed the 6-man tag team championship concept. I think my favorite memory of the six man championship was when Hawk and Animal turned on Dusty and gouged his eye with the spike. same here!

loved 6-man championship! wish nwa/wcw coulda kept it going as well. wcw revived it in 1991 but it was a bad year for them with lack of stars and they scrapped it again.
original freebirds, varsity club (rotunda, steiner, williams), midnight ex & big bubba, variations of the horseman, gary hart international members, warriors & sting maybe all come to mind.
the russians & dusty/warriors fued & matches was great!
ivan koloff & powers of pain even held the belts once.
wish wwf woulda had one:
i think of the 3 funk bros as champs fueding and losing belts to the hillbilly's, then studd/bundy & heenan beat them for it, then the Machines win it, and so on. teams over the years frm same manager could always be made like rougeau bros & dino bravo and power & glory with the warlord, 3 heenan family members and more. of course demolition, maybe lod & ultimate warrior or texas tornado. later DX shawn/HHH/chyna coulda had em. 3 nation of domination members (henry,d-lo,kama) and sooo many more.
much later the sheild & wyatt family would be fueding over it.

Was he better as a face or heel? He had all the attributes of a solid heel back in the day. Solid run for big Herc during the mid/late 80's. heel for sure. his matches around wm3 and his teaming with roma were GREAT!

I loved Hercules. I grew up watching him. He is one of my top 5 figure wants (I’d like both a blue trunks and a power and glory version with Roma)Me too. I wouldn't mind 4 or 5 figures of him. WM3 (black trunks), WM6 (blue trunks), SSL90 (Power & Glory trunks), and WM7 (Power & Glory tights). They could do a figure similar to his LJN figure with the entrance gear. And, if they wanted to, do another Power and Glory trunks with they word Power on the back, the Summer Slam trunk were blank. Definitely need a Roma as well. Man Herc is so overdue for a fig! royal rumbles and figs mattel/jakks/hasbro havent/never made: 88- (20 man)- mattel- (11) bravo, bass, bees, gang, zuckov, houston, reed, (need davis in wrestling gear) jakks- (16) bravo, reed, boris, houston, (davis in wrestling gear) ljn- (14) bravo, reed, boris, houston, davis, bass 89- mattel- (24) hercules, brown, koko, barbarian, bass, garvin (need warlord in POP gear) jakks- (27) hercules, garvin, savage hasbro- (21) hercules, rooster, bass, brown, barbarian, studd, garvin, busters ljn- (17) rooster, garvin, bass, brown, barbarian, smash, perfect, rockers, whackers, busters 90- mattel- (24) hercules, brown, koko, barbarian, bravo, haku jakks- (27) hercules, bravo, savage hasbro- (24) hercules, bravo, rooster, haku, barbarian, brown ljn- (20) bravo, rooster, brown, barbarian, qauke, smash, perfect, rhodes, rockers 91- mattel- (24) hercules, bravo, haku, roma, douglas, samba jakks- (24) hercules, bravo, savage, roma, douglas, tornado, samba simba-(tony atlas) hasbro- (24) hercules, bravo, haku, roma, douglas, simba 92- mattel- (24) hercules, barbarian, haku, repo, skinner, col mustafa-(iron sheik) jakks- (26) hercules, skinner, tornado, savage hasbro- (25) hercules, haku, barbarian, volkoff, mustafa 93- mattel- (20) koko, repo, owen, moon, skinner, shrinkers, dimento, tenryu, colon jakks- (21) moon, tenryu, skinner, shrinkers, dimento, colon, owen, savage hasbro- (23) moon, tenryu, dimento, colon, backlund, taylor, lawler

he was really good back in the old nwa/wcw days. the angle with being in and leaving 4 horsemen was GREAT. he was AWESOME as the cocky heel. he was good as Narcissist, but he was toned down a bit on the mic. he played the cheating heel role well in his matches too.
