6 months in and I've lost all hope in our President. Just one thing after another. And then this www.americablog.com/2009/07/aids-activists-protest-obama-aids.html1. The candidate promised to lift the ban. 2. The White House Web site reaffirmed the president's commitment to lifting the ban. 3. The White House Web site no longer reaffirms his commitment to lifting the ban. 4. The president now refuses to lift the ban. 5. The president actually affirmatively makes things worse by administratively supporting defending the ban. 6. The spokesman reiterates the president's support for lifting the ban, some day, once Congress gets around to it. Then there is defending DOMA in court, likening same-sex marriage to beastiality and incest and pedophilia. Then willing to cave on a public option for Universal Health Care. Then after being acquitted of charges at Gitmo, a person can still be held if Obama feels the person is too big of a threat. Same ****, different guy.

Lol! I never trusted him to begin with, but am I reading correctly? Obama a Democrat is against same sex marriage? Wow.

People always get too caught up in the party system.
Every politician is the same, Democrat or Republican - they all do what they need to do to benefit themselves and the people around them.
That's why it's ridiculous when right wingers accuse all lefties of being communists and lefties accuse right wingers of being the next Hitler.
It's all the same.

He's still more handsome and smarter than Bush *shrugs* I could have just voted for McCain and he would have just straight up told us to off and not bother with this **** instead of voting for the guy who is going to lie to your face and then stab you in the back.

If you could see me now, you'd see me doing my "I told you so" dance. I love when people become jaded with politicians. Did I not tell you that McCain or Obama would both play the same freaking political games that W played? And that Clinton played before him and that Bush played before him? and so on and so on? Nothing changes in DC. Ever.

Slappy, welcome to reality. www.firecongress.org/ - Now I welcome you to start trying to do something about it. My Congressman has it made, no one here seriously challenges him. I contacted my mayor's office and left a message asking him to challenge him, because he has name recognition to help him where no other candidate has anywhere near the amount of name recognition except for his opponent in the mayoral race, whom I will contact should the mayor not return my call about him running.

They really are all the same. A politician for the majority, are like salesmen. They tell you what is going to get them votes. You have to just hope they are the minority who will do something

I wouldn't say he's going to destroy America, because right now he's just following Bush while trying to sprinkle a little Clinton on top just to appease the left.

Honestly, it's big of you to admit it. Most people wouldn't.
I tried to tell everyone that this knight in shining armor was going to be all style and no substance. He has been back tracking since he took office, and shows no signs of stopping. I do have the feeling he is going to go the way of Carter though.

They are all same... well there may be one slight difference... some have actual intentions on doing what they say they will do and others have no intentions are are flat out lying. For the very few with good intentions, ultimately reality sinks in and it's just too difficult and they cave. Business as usual.

Hopefully someone is a better Kennedy, beats him and can actually win. But if anybody is going to be Reagan, I hope it's Romney and not Palin.
