This is the TNA world champion. A little off?
The key piece of information missing is the date, which TNA needs to be asking questions about. If this is a recent video, it's time for TNA to take a stand and send a message to the roster that it doesn't matter whether you're Jeff Hardy or you're in dark matches, knowingly appearing in a video while stoned out of your mind is cause for termination.
The problem is Hardy has found a safe haven in TNA to avoid the rigors of WWE's Wellness Policy - where he had two strikes - because the promotion has developed a reputation for being lax in this area. If TNA determines it's a recent video, they can make a positive difference by sending a real message to the locker room that this behavior won't be tolerated. Firing Hardy, who holds the promotion's top title while facing federal charges for drug possession, would be a start.

If they have a grudge sober or not I say let it out, at the end of the day TNA won't be charged for Jeff's transgressions.

I agree with Jeff regarding both being Straight Edge and how CM Punk comes across as an arrogant tool. Very few fan experiences (or even actual talent) portray him as a nice guy.
That said, and I say this as a HUGE Hardy Boyz fan, CM Punk can talk on the mic far better and wrestle rings around both. fact.

Not really a good image for TNA when your world champ is doing videos when he's clearly high.

This is from Season 9 of The Hardy Show. The audio is only slightly distorted. You can CLEARLY tell that Jeff is drunk, at the least bit. But who cares? Its not like the dude is then shown getting into a car and driving off. Everything that Jeff says concerning Punk is true. He is cocky. And Jeff DID make CM Punk. Punk rose to be the top heel in the business all piggybacked off of how popular Jeff was. There wasnt an intent to make Punk a heel. The crowd just reacted to anti Punk, that it had to happen. Jeff/Punk is probably the best feud we have seen in the past 10 years. Forget Cena/Orton, Joe/Angle, HHH/Orton, Cena/Edge, Sting/Angle, etc. Hardy and Punk was RED HOT. If Hardy had stayed, they would have been headlining WM and bringing home bank. Punk is the Anti-Hardy, as Hardy is the Anti-Punk. They had magic. I dont know if Punk uses a prescription sleeping aide, but really who cares? So what if he does? Having trouble sleeping is no huge thing and getting a sleep aide is no biggie. Though I am a little hard pressed to believe he does, cuz I heard he doesnt even use asprin. Punk is definitely the better mic. worker and in ring technician, but Jeff Hardy is and was more over than Punk has ever been and he DOES owe Jeff a huge bit of gratitude for putting him there.

Ok bulls***. Jeff you didn't make Punk. The fact you're a druggie up did. Jesus, the Hardy's both come off as douchey white trash in everything they do outside wrestling.

Hardy may have given Punk the rub, and provided an antithesis to Punk's character, but there's no way hardy made Punk. Punk was one of the most over indy wrestlers coming into WWE. There's a reason he got pushed, similar to Danielson's push now. WWE is tapping into a chunk of their wrestling audience that is becoming increasingly influential in the direction of pro wrestling. I think that's evidenced on how the WWE allows these guys to keep their basic character. Punk is similar ro what he was in the indies, as is Bryan. In the past, you rarely seen the indy guys come up and keep their same gimmick. Obviously, WWE is aware of something that's working. So while WWE may have provided the proper vehicle for Punk's exposure, and Hardy the proper storyline to build that exposure, I'd have to disagree that either one made Punk. Made him more well known? Yes! Made him? Don't think so,imo. As far as the apathy towards Jeff's state in the video, I;ll have to disagree as well. He represents a company and he also has two previous charges and pending court cases/jail time. Is this really what TNA wants as exposure? Is this really wise On Jeff Hardy's part to be even showing these type of videos considering his history and pending future? I'd think it would be a big deal to him and TNA.

I'm just looking at Jeff's facial hair here, and it isn't the same as what he has right now, or anytime I remember during this TNA run. However I haven't seen the latest impact so this could be recent video, and a new style he has atm. Even if this was done months ago (most likely), it is pretty stupid of them having this uploaded since Jeff is the TNA champion, and it sends a bad message to TNA.

So what if he's drunk? When did it become illegal for a man to drink beer?

Jeff Hardy taking credit for "making" CM Punk is a joke. If I were running a professional company, the last thing I would want is for the face of my organization to appear intoxicated (whether it is alcohol, drugs, etc.) on youtube, or any other forum that can be accessed by millions of people. Great work TNA. It's actions like these that will always make you number 2.

This closes the topic, as it's the best thing that's been said since it's been posted on the WWE board. If you were talking about a wwe run and we were basing it off oionion, sure. But this disregards punk in the indies. The biggest reason he was brought up was how over he was in the indies. God knows he wasn't very polished coming into wwe. So while some may favor hardy or agree with this opinion, it still fails to give credit for what punk accomplished before this, which is essentially what Jeff hardy is doing.
