-- Just finished watching Cornette's idea on the InVasion, and damn... all be it a few slight modifications, his concept was far superior to how it was actually played out! I loved the build-up, starting out with mid-carders "shooting" and as time goes on, tension boils with the semi-main eventers and eventually the main eventers.. and having it climax at Wrestlemania X-8... Just such a remarkable idea!!
Anyone who hasn't listened to it, I highly, highly recommend it.. it's on YT right now

Jim has such a mind for the business. It definitely needs a fair bit of work to it but the base of an awesome years worth of entertainment is there all finishing with a great Wrestlemania.

Cornette's idea was okay, except for the whole "wrestling is fake LOL" aspect of it.

I've wondered what would have happened if WWE's WCW had found a tv slot and started going on tour? How would today be different? But at the same time I also wondered how WWE would have been ok competing with itself. I also wonder why they never just renamed Smackdown to WCW Smackdown and used that?
I personally feel the angle/storyline jumped the shark when they brought in the ECW guys. It would have been better if it had stayed WWF vs WCW.

It would have been better if it had stayed WWF vs WCW. when Heyman and his guys joined it actually picked up steam for me.Heyman leading his troops made sense and Vince was vastly outnumbered. then Stephanie F*cking McMahon was revealed as the ECW leader.....UGH.it became clear then it was just another chapter in the McMahon on again off again feud that would unbelievably continue throughout the effin decade.

The whole invasion idea was dead the second wcw guys appeared on wwe television getting beat up by wwf guys. Sting said it himself that he didnt join wwe all because he saw how wcw guys were treated like nobodys on wwe television.
