I'm not losing any sleep over not getting an Elite Titus figure, I can tell you that much. Some of these guys just don't do enough to really warrant an Elite in many cases. Not that The Warlord was some legendary talent, but those fun obscurities keep older collectors integrated into a line that is primarily focused on modern talent. I think with normal Elite, Network Spotlight, HOF, now NXT, the various PPV-themed lines, and the newer TNF line, we have avenues for talent from all marketable generations.

Since the current roster absolutely sucks... Flashbacks all the way! I'm with him^

Massive fan of the flashback segment and don't want to see it reduced or scaled back in any way shape or form I have to say.
I have nearly all the modern guys I want in elite form(Rood, Aries and one or two others Id love right now) and aside from a few guys like Balor? 1 version of them will do me. But Flashbacks? I still need
Goldberg Steiner Bros Kurt Angle Ken Shamrock Taz The Dudleys The Hardys Smoking Gunns Syxx 2000 era Jericho nWo Buff The Patriot Wildman Marc Mero
and others too numerous to mention.

Couple quick points I'd like to make are:
1. The old saying of people wanting what they can't have, is very true when it comes to this topic. In my opinion people see the same figures getting released all the time that they look for those that haven't and base their want for a "Titus" figure solely on the fact there isn't an elite of him - but when these types of guys are actually released, they don't sell well. Which comes back to my point - he was only wanted cos he hasn't been made (Titus is only an example as his name was mentioned above).
and
2. Having limited knowledge of the old days is not a great argument for not wanting flashbacks. Several of these guys mentioned as unworthy flashbacks did the exact same job/role/TV time as current day guys that people are wanting made. There is a large portion of the world that was born more than 20 years ago and had TVs and watched wrestling.

You lost me when you mentioned Nasty Boys and Warlord in favor of a guy like Titus. Back in the time they wrestled for the WWF the Nasty Boys were a bigger part of the card than any team the WWE has today besides the Hardy Boys. As for the CW division I don't know about anyone else, but the only ones I would by is Neville and Aries. The model they are doing now is almost perfect. I would rather see a 50/50 split in the cases, but two FB an assortment works fine. There's no way they can put out 2 different assortments at the same time and expect both lines to do well at mass retail. That is to many figures competing with each other on the pegs.

I just wish it didn't take so long to get popular guys in updated attire, I mean look at Rollins, he returned a year ago & we prob won't get a black/silver elite until Sept. also guys like Usos, drastically changed their gear, who knows when they'll get updated elites

The current mix is perfect. Having just got 49 and 50, the current roster is starting to be fantastically represented in figure form.
There also aren't a huge number of FTIL flashbacks that Mattel can make, and/or would sell. So the current pacing is fine.

I actually think the current roster is taking up too many spots. Gimme more flashbacks.

The more flashbacks the better. Nasty Boys were in their early 90s gear, a guy like Titus most likely will not even be remembered 25 years from now. I'm pretty happy with the way they are distributing flashbacks now. I already have a hard time keeping up , so I wouldn't be in favor of another separate line.

I look at it this way.. what would most people prefer? A new bright colorful warrior attire or another dean Ambrose or roman reigns figure that looks exactly the same as all their others.

The only way a Flashback sub-line would work on this already crowded shipping schedule is to end some lines. Most people, myself included, aren't going to be able to strain our wallets to accommodate yet another collector line.
The solution? End these damn store exclusive lines. That won't happen though because stores think that stuff will drive foot traffic.
I hate these store exclusive lines. Smaller assortments are a bad idea that allow characters to rot, like the eighty Bayleys at my local TRU and the Titos everywhere in the contiguous United States. And speaking of that, I'm sure our overseas brothers would love to have these figures they can't get due to the lines being exclusive to US based stores.
I haven't seen a new Elite set at most of the Walmarts around here because Earthquake and Typhoon decided to dominate the three pegs that were supposed to be for regular elites. A regular line of Legends 6 times a year is a far better solution to moving stock and we'd get way more figures than all the TNF, HoF, Network Spotlights in a year combined.

You act as if the Flashbacks went away then jobbers like Titus would get made into elites. Berzerker and Boogeyman aren't the reasons why O'Neil isn't getting an elite. Titus not doing anything noteworthy other than grabbing Vince and getting suspended is why he doesn't have an elite. If Mattel stopped making Flashbacks then that would mean more Cenas, Reigns, Rollins, Ambroses, etc inserted in the lines not jobbers.

I can't believe people still claim Cena doesn't sell. Roman is hit or miss but Cena absolutely sells

The fact that my Target probably won't be ordering new Elites anytime soon because there are 7 Tugboats that will not move, annoys me. They need to be more careful with who they make. Warlord and Beserker should be .5 per case.

Count me in as one of the people who want to see more Flashbacks. I'm looking at new elites like Brutus "the Barber" Beefcake and thinking when are we getting the next Beefcake figure? When are we getting another DDP or Mr Perfect/Curt Hennig? As a new collector I want Demolition rereleased. There are so many guys from days gone by that I want as elites without even starting on the list of wrestlers in the concussion lawsuit. I mean, I'm not getting this Warlord because I want Powers of Pain Warlord. With Barbarian and Mr Fuji.
So, yes I want Flashbacks but I get it that there is demand for the current roster to be captured in tiny plastic form. I echo what many have already said on here, Mattel's probably got the ratio just about right.

Well the Cruiserweights are about to start showing up in the line. Don't forget it takes 9-12 months or so to get a figure out. As far a Titus and characters like that, they usually rot (Bo, Sandow, Rowan, etc). I'm not say flashbacks never rot (Sid and Tito I'm looking at you), but 99% of the time they're the first to go from a fresh case. I personally collect flashbacks so I'm sure I'm a little biased, but I'm confident Mattel has numbers to prove the flashbacks and 5-8 big names on the current roster are what make them money... Side note- I'm down for a heel all black Neville. Love his new gimmick and really am trying to convince myself that the new CW division is/can be as awesome as WCW's was ^^FACTS^^The WWE toy sections are proof of this. Sometimes I miss out on flashbacks because they're the first to get snagged. And if you look on eBay, early released flashbacks are the ones that are worth more. nWo macho, Nash, Diesel, Cactus, nWo Hall, LOD, Demolition and DMs just to name a few

Who would want Titus O'Neal over any flashback? I only buy flashbacks that are from the Attitude era or WCW Nitro. Seriously todays roster sucks and luckily mattel is catering to various era's for everyone to buy..

Dude , warlord was awesome
I agree with what others said, 2 competing elite lines would over saturate and hurt sales, I'm happy with how it is now
