So you don't even need a lego or anything to prop up the ring posts. All 4 ring posts can be elevated and are still secured. The below pics show the ring with all four ring posts lifted the same height. There is no caving. Works well. So ya for sure if you're on the fence get the ring and slide the ring posts only about half way down instead of pegging them in all the way Edit Forgot you can't raise the post with the light button without some modding because it's glued to the base piece. So the above pics depict 3 of the 4 posts raised Cheers man looks alot better now. I hope someone can find a way to mod that 4th post that's simple enough. This will potentially save the ring for me.

Is there a way you could cut a red square Lego into 4 and prop up the corners that way? It would kill the led feature but ya I think you could gimmick something in there to lift it up and keep it tight. Red Lego or something is genius. Good one This works for 3 of the posts. but what about the 4th post with the LED on off button? This one doesn't lift up the same way does it? Unless there is a way to do it that I am not seeing. If I can figure out how to do this with the 4th post the ring will be saved for me.

I got this ring over the weekend and only have one compliant but it's a big one IMO. The height of the ring ropes being to low. It really bugs me and sours the set for me.
Has anyone come up with any ideas on how to modify the ring post/rope height on this ring? It's a small flaw that makes a big impact. If it could be modded it would make the ring great.

My main gripes are the plastic Basic looking turnbuckle pads. But more important is that the ring posts look way to short compared to the figures. The top rope seems down too low if you ask me.

Mattel skirts and canvases won't fit the Jakks ring. They are a bit too big.

As someone who got in touch more recently I can very much vouch for his helpfulness and quality work. Dipped my toe in and got a Survivor Series classic skirt and then a summerslam one and both are perfect, look spot on. More recently I've this past week ordered a snme and classic wrestlemania one and am eagerly awaiting them. No question is too much hassle and he always gives advice on set ups and even pointed me elsewhere for something I wanted when he didn't have to. I know I find the whole collecting experience better for speaking to Naparo and look forward to ordering a lot more stuff. Thank you sir. Glad to have helped.

Thanks for your continued support and friendship sir. It's been a pleasure knowing you, watching you grow, and seeing your arena evolve. Thank you so much for the kind words sir. And I so popped when you said "our shoot lives." Well, it's that time of the year that I post the new goodies from naparo01 . Before I do so, I just want to take a sec to say I have known this guy now officially for 10 years. I always help this guy by recommending his incredible work and service not just because I will always admire and love his work, but because I consider him a good friend. I value the friendship we have as we may not always be able to be in contact when our shoot lives are pretty busy, I feel we always can pick up right where we left off and I am sure he can say the same. Nate, if you're not down with this....I GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA...........THANK YOU! It's been a great 10 years knowing you my friend, here's to many more!

They fit together reasonably well. Jakks tend to be a little taller on average.

I can only imagine what it feels like being so wrong about so many things. Personally I love flashbacks most. Especially more obscure flashbacks. I will always prefer an unreleased figure over someone that has been thrown out dozens of times already. When it comes down to it, you will be heard best with your dollars. Buy the figs you want, leave the ones you don't. I can't be wrong for my opinion. Flashbacks are the only thing that shelfwarms 90% of the time. Yes, you and other collectors love obscure guys from the late 80's and early 90's but it's a niche community and I respect that but I'm not saying you're wrong. I for one would love elites of all current guys and gals. To me, that's why I loved E1-E11. Sorry dude. That was a bit salty. That's my favorite thing to say when I disagree with someone. That being said I think Matty's marketing folks understand this better than any of us.

I know that there are number of members on this board that enjoy flashbacks in every elite series and I respect that. But I think it has got to the point now where it is taking too much room in every series. I might be in the minority but I feel like the regular elite line should cater to the current roster and sprinkle in flashbacks 1 to 2 in every other series. Also, if you're going to make a flashback it should be of important memorable superstars. It's weird that Mattel would waste part of their budget on the Nasty Boys, Warlord, or Berzerker, but current guys like Titus O'Neal and Cruiserweights can't get an elite in the line... Open for discussion guys. I can only imagine what it feels like being so wrong about so many things. Personally I love flashbacks most. Especially more obscure flashbacks. I will always prefer an unreleased figure over someone that has been thrown out dozens of times already. When it comes down to it, you will be heard best with your dollars.
