If they would of done the rude that way it would of made that figure so much better. Same with Jake, and even Flair, IMO. I was highly disappointed with how those three turned out.

AMAZING. I knew you had something up your sleeve when you said in the Greg Valentine R&B thread. I knew, but i never expected it to be this big. Thing is guys, we had photographs of Greg Valentine. But we only dreamt of the orange series. Thats like finding Star Wars episode VII. yes 7. Something us fans have searched for for 20 years just for information, now we have living proof it existed and CDP discovered that. price wise I would say %5,000 each per head sculpt easy. Thatnks CDP. Its a damn shame someone ruined the surprised on Facebook. But they can have as many photographs as you want, but guess what CDP owns them. 10/10. I'm scared to see what else CDP has lined up. Agreed - this is remarkable! Tugboat, R&B Valentine, and now this. Jesus, what else is going to surface?

Well, I'm not sure if we as contestants are allowed to vote, so I'll hold off on commenting on other's work for now, but here's a Work In Progress shot showing some of the work that went into my entry. Yes, I agree that the head and teeth are horrific looking -Lol! I'm not sure why I used a Wanderlai Silva head as base besides the fact that I had an extra one and it wasn't good for anything else. Somewhat off topic but has there ever been an AWA heavyweight title belt made by any company (for figures?) I'm not aware of any. Even the actual AWA figures (like the Roadies pictured below) came with generic belts that looked more like the NWA Title which I always thought was just strange. Come to think of it, having Ric Flair as part of an AWA figure line was pretty damn strange, too.

I've been SO inactive here for a variety of reasons - won't get into them all here. Anyway, I've been in a couple of the past Customanias and they were fun except for the crappy turnout. I'll give it another shot. Sign me up for Intercontinental, please.

Yes, it's another "what can I do with.....?" thread. Anyway, I do RA customs in my spare time and I have a CS 13 Brother Love figure and was wondering what or who I could make with the parts? There's not a whole lot of guys (past or present) that I can think of to use the white jacket or pants. Even finding a use for the head is proving difficult (a chubby face with molded on glasses?). Any suggestions, anyone? Resculpting and/or repainting isn't a problem, nor does it matter what promotion or timeframe your suggestions are from - I have simply hit a creative wall trying to figure out what to do with this guy. Thanks to all -MSF

Yeah but I use the Wahoo head on my Jakks custom works fine. But he is small enough for a Mattel. Sorry to venture off topic here, but any chance you can post (or just pm me) a pic of your Wahoo? I've been working on one myself (Jakks scale) and much like Mo4Sho, I've had trouble finding a decent likeness. However, if I can just swap out a Legends head, then that would be great. Did you have to hollow out the neck or anything?

Why don't you use the legends of wrestling head its not as big as the other jakks heads it would work well. I was just about to suggest this as well. Some of those old legends figures have decent likenesses but are too small to use on Jakks customs. Would probably look much better on Mattel bodies.

Wow -excellent job! As a longtime Jakks fan, it's cool just seeing a couple of RA customs. The detail work is incredible.

Gotta go with the majority here. If you're just looking for a simple head swap with no real modding needed, a Jakks Buddy Roberts head is about as good as it gets.

Regarding Sculpey,no,you can't bake it in the oven, but you can boil it in water and it will harden up just the same as if it had been baked. I use this method frequently since Sculpey is so easy to find, not to mention it's cheap.

Thanks guys! I have a Mattel-sized Owen head on the way from Shapeways. I hope to receive it in a little over a week. Very excited to see how it turns out! In the meantime, I played around with the program for a bit today. Guess who! Wars Gordy on the left, Rotunda on the right, but I can't make out who's in the center. Ronnie Garvin, maybe?

Hey Warsman! Congrats on your "promotion"! While I do check these boards daily, I'm certainly guilty for not contributing much, if at all. Due to a handful of personal AND financial setbacks in the past year or so, my "passion" has subsided quite a bit. I still have plenty of ideas in mind, not to mention craploads of parts bins. Perhaps a Customania -style competition will be the shot in the arm that I need to get back into it a little more.

I'm surprised there hasn't been much said about these being made available for sale - maybe everyone is all preoccupied with the SDCC or whatever. I know Galoobs are still very sought after, so good luck to you!

If we're talking NON CS figs, then the first one that comes to mind for me was the Best Of ECW/WCW D-Von Dudley. I was a big fan of the Dudleys and thought that this version captured the "early" ECW Dudleys perfectly (tye-dyed shirt, overalls, etc.) I only wish they had made a Bubba Ray fig with the same type of attire to go with D-Von and the CS Spike Dudley.

Not to speak for kenny, but the Iceman looks to be a Bobby Lashley head. Not sure about the dreadlocks, though. These are all some pretty nice looking customs, by the way. Well, using a Mark Henry head for a Kharma custom was a bit creepy, but besides that.....Lol!
Good job, kennycasanova!

Some time back, a "rare" Hasbro Tugboat 2-Up caused quite the uproar here on these boards. More recently, a "rare" LJN Slaughter made for quite a few debates, not to mention those pesky "moon" Kamalas that show up every now and then. It's odd that I'm not seeing the level of arguing, bickering, or even level-headed discussion with this piece that Tugboat, Sarge, or Kamala caused. Don't get me wrong, I really hope it's legit, and from what I've read here, I've no reason to really doubt its authenticity. It just seems that considering how long we've all been waiting to see this piece, there would be a little more excitement in the air.
If this is indeed the real deal, then it really is exciting to wonder what else is out there?

I have no idea "legally" how they're able to use recasted parts or whatever, but I wonder if other old AWA heads might show up on these things eventually - Mat Maniacs or otherwise. If they weren't so damn expensive, I'd be tempted to pick them up myself. Interested to see where this goes.

Yes, I've seen AR Max mentioned,so I may give that a shot. Do you happen to know if any flash drive can be used with it as I already have several of them? Also, any idea if I will need a second memory card, or can it be done with only one?
Lastly, any idea if there are any type of transfer devices that rely on something other than flash drives? Reason being is I'm not 100% sure that my PS2's USB ports even work. Thanks!
