I like the scan. It fits the rest of the Mattel line and the entire collection looks uniform.
As for the dancing skeleton tattoo...really? It is hidden behind his hair. That would be like saying they didn't put his tattoos that are on his stomach, which are hidden by his singlet.

I though it was stated in the very beginning that Basics would not have the same level of detail that the Elite figures had. We have seen Basic versions of Edge and Undertaker that have color tattoos where appropriate, but I woudln't fault Mattel for not added extensive color to CM Punks tattoos on a Basic figure. Plus it got a new head sculpt. Anyways, I have seen loose retail versions of Kane, Mark Henry, Swagger and Kozlov. Kane and Mark Henry are the standouts. Henry is like Orton...the whole figure looks like a 3D photo of the guy. Other than Kane...Where'd you see the loose retail versions? PM'd you

Yes, these are available in some Australian stores. I can confirm that Swagger and Kane do indeed look awesome, but Punk is just rubbish. He has an absolutely horrible headscan IMO and NO COLOR TATTOOS, which I remind you is something Jakks got crucified for. ^ Too me it depends of the figure. The larger arms look good on Cena/HHH, but I wish there was a less defined arm for Austin.

Zeke should use the PRP. I don't know what they could name it though.

That is what Mattel often does for defective figures.
At least for these you can easily walk into any TRU and get another Cena...when DCUC figures are defective and they send a coupon you may never see the figure on shelves again.

Hope that Edge gets another release. It is a great figure, but I don't need the Cena or the belt.

Eh. If this happened to me I would justify by saying "Orton stayed in character"
Plus, who knows about this kid and his family? They may just be looking for some cash.

That sucks that the MCMG guy is hurt. Those guys seem to be leaps and bounds better then the rest of that roster in the charisma department.

I would get 'Taker. It is the definitive modern Undertaker figure.
Mattel already stated in their last Q/A that they are working on MVPs tattoos for his next figure. So a more recent MVP is on deck.
I held off on MVP for that reason.

That was the first time I ever saw one of those infamous TNA red cage of death matches and I was utterly confused. I have been a wrestling fan for 20 years and I was very confused.
Considering TNA was banking on having an influx of new viewers that night, you would think they would spoon feed the casual audience that was tuning in. Instead they had a cage match end in a DQ, had one of the competitors in the match awkwardly climb and attempt to escape said cage...and rely on the TV and live audience to know that a "behind the scenes reason" was the culprit of this debacle.
Got it. Go TNA.

I am under the impression that there will be some added details in the final product i.e. the "X" on Punks tape.

Finally a good scan from Mattel on the Punk figure, unfortunately hes missing the boot detail and the Straight Edge tattoo is a bit high. Swagger's scan still doesn't look like him. Punk has worn that attire with plain black kickpads. I do think that the Straght Edge tatoo is a little high. Not a deal breaker for me. I think that these all look pretty good.

The DCUC Warm the pegs here. One Wal=Mart had about a dozen Batmans and they lasted a couple weeks. That is just the Wal-mart exclusive Wave 10 Batmans. If you have other DCU "warming pegs" buy those ers. They are ultimate trade bait brother...
