Rope issue or not, this is the best ring ever made by any wrestling company. Not even an argument. I don't have a dog in this race, but I'm pretty sure this entire thread IS an argument against your position... Saying "No argument" doesn't magically make all the facts (ropes are too short for some tastes) go away. It's like the weirdos who hear a real news story they disagree with and say "fake news". Saying "blue is red" doesn't make it magically true... Just some friendly advice. But it is awesome that you're happy with your purchase. I'll for sure be picking it up once it hits Big Lots in 2019. For $30.

Imo people who buy up loads of toys to sell them for double the price on eBay are the true definition of tool bag. I'm neither agreeing or disagreeing with you, but I think our benevolent overlords here do this kind of stuff all the time. And to be fair, they only charge 2x the normal amount for a short while.... Like, until they realize there's only so many people interested in toys of Turtles cosplaying as wrestlers. Also see: Retro Superstars

I dont really remember when I signed up, I didnt know this place existed in 01! My first forum was caws.ws, but things got really weird over there, like felony weird... and then I found this place! Oh, c'mon... What happened? I started lurking during winter break '01, although I don't think I was here day 1. I was on AFR though, and before that, I was one WrestleTalks. I wanna say like, maybe 10-20 of us took that route; Going from WT to AFR to here. Though, most of us went over to TheSmartMarks and DVDVR... I think I'm the only one to com back here and post, although I know a couple of those guys pop in every now and again to look at Hasbro customs. But yeah, I've spent more than half of my life as a member of this board. As someone who's been here that long, I'm going to have to take a second and mention that this place would be 10x better IF THE FREAKING "FIX-UP" THREAD WAS MOVED BACK TO THE CUSTOM BOARD. Seriously, the biggest change I've seen here (besides the embargoes on people who have the audacity to sell non WWE figures,'cept for the orange guy) is the disrespect shown to all of us who supported customizers and wrestling figure customs in general. The F%C blackout is at least somewhat understandable (if not a bit insulting), whereas this Anti-Customs culture has never been explained nor ever remedied.

I've never stumbled across this thread before and I find it abhorrent that "Sandy Hook" is listed as a conspiracy theory. The fact that crap like that gets to stay up makes me kind of embarrassed to be a member here. Well, in America, white males have been systematically holding back women, other races, and other nationalities for almost 250 years. If one were to take umbrage with that statement, then that person would be part of the problem... Also, that person would have to be very narcissistic to feel like it was an attack on their person, rather than an observation on the very real problem of white, male privilege in the US. Denying that it exists is the very definition of "gas lighting". While it is true that white males (mostly Christian/Catholic) have been holding back women, other races, and other nationalities is true, making a blanket statement like you did is just plain racist and does nothing but contribute to the problem more. Not every white male is automatically privileged just because they're white and male. The blanket statement of "white males" IS an attack on one's person because someone can't just decide to be white or male when they're born. White male privilege and racism does exist, just not in all white males. Thanks for verifying that some white people use these chances to "play victim". From my OP! Calling racists racist, isn't racist.

Oh, haha! I didn't say that to downplay your post. I just wanted to point out how sad and slimy it was for them to send out the release in order to make the reporters look dumb, or out of the loop.
Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for making the post.

I mean, this news is weeks old. They were talking about it on TV last week... This press release was a thinly veiled attempt to deflect the very true reports of Anthem trying to sell Impact.

Nah, it's a reddit buzzword. The kind of thing Michael Cole says fifteen times an episode.

That Roode entrance is amazing. Won't be seeing it all that often though, I'll probably put him with a James Storm CAW and make Beer Money. I'm holding out hope that Austin Aries is going to be in the last set of reveals. Dirty Heels > Beer Money

It's 2017 and you're a wrestling fan. If you haven't at least youtubed Omega/Okada highlights (any of 'em) you're not doing the internet thing correctly. I'm not saying everyone has to love the guy, but jeesh! Why would you not even watch highlight videos? You can't say you don't have time, as you have time to respond. You can't use the old standby, "I don't watch TV" because you can watch youtube via the means you use to access this forum. Anyways. The Christian head isn't a bad choice. I'd remove the paint, get a finer brush, and get the beard done a littler cleaner. It won't be much work, and I think it would make it 10x better. Still, not bad. I'd also try recoloring Omega's hair. Take whatever brown paint you used for Cole, add a splotch of black to darken the brown, then paint the hair. I don't think the highlights are necessarily.. necessary. But, if you insist, then find a yellow and mix/match until you find a good tone. I think you're on the verge of having some pretty good looking customs. The sculpt work and parts choice were great. Now, if you can find a little patience and clean up the paint job, these would be first class customs. Take it easy there, Hitman. I haven't watched a wrestling match more modern than Raw's Old School night on Youtube. I don't watch current WWE or any of the independent shows. I'm an old school wrestling fan, I watch stuff from the 70s and 80s on youtube for fun. I watched the Attitude Era some in high school, and that was about where I left off with any sort of regular modern viewing. I enjoy doing customs of old school guys, and that's what brought me to this forum, rather than wrestling itself. I enjoy seeing other people's customs, and the creativity and hard work that goes along with 'em. He was kind enough to offer pictures alongside his customs, so I was just trying to offer some (hopefully) constructive feedback. Please, don't project your own accidence and turn my words into something confrontational. If my grandfather was like, "I don't need to see the Wonder Woman movie, as I prefer to reread Denny O'Neil's run over and over again.". I wouldn't respond in anger, but rather call him a Luddite and try to convey what he's missing out on. Just because I don't understand willful ignorance, doesn't mean it makes me mad, lol.

Haha, to be fair, Jindrak had been around (counting WCW) for 5 years at that point! I ended up getting the gold Jindrak, I think he came in a 3 pack, but I'm not sure.
Still, Jindrak, another must-have Jakks figure.
