This is odd because he is in fact advertised for tonight, has been for months. I'm sure the negative reaction to the end of the match was directed at Cena winning. It doesn't seem like The Rock to just skip out like that. Now before the haters come in with more comments, while The Rock didn't appear every week, he appeared at EVERY show he was advertised for. Hopefully this is just BS and he shows up tonight because him be advertised is the only reason I have to watch Raw tonight.

i will bump this thread post wrestlemania to see if you are right. As promised, heres my bump. How'd you do? I went 2-2, which is fine. The two I was right on were the most predictable, I took a chance predicting the other two and was happy that I wasn't right about them actually

I just found this on another site.
- In a new interview to promote WrestleMania 29, ESPN asked John Cena if there is backstage resentment with The Rock working a part-time schedule and being WWE Champion. Cena replied:
“No, because that was my whole base of resentment last year. I really thought he was coming back for maybe a yearlong campaign to remind people, ‘Hey guys, I have some new movies coming out,’ and he wanted to let the WWE fan base know that he was still around. But he came back, he stayed back, and he’s competing. Even if he’s not on every Monday Night Raw, you have to understand, this guy is the most driven individual I know. The fact that he can do what he can do and still compete in the ring — go film a commercial, go film five movies, go film a TV show and then come back and not leave WWE on the back burner, but still be the champion — it’s admirable. He’s doing more for WWE by trying to do both those things at once and being on Raw some of the time, than focusing on WWE and being there 100 percent of the time. Just like I have my critics, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has critics, and I was one of the biggest ‘Hey man, you’re never here’ guys around, but not anymore. He’s completely committed to WWE.”
This is Cena saying it, THE SAME GUY, who questioned The Rock's love for the business years ago.

The hate for The Rock is unnecessary I feel. He didn't have to come back, he came back for the fans. HE CANNOT BE THERE EVERY WEEK BECAUSE OF HIS HOLLYWOOD COMMITTMENTS, NOT BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE. I put that in caps so maybe people can understand it. He is not doing it for money, he could never work another day in his life and have more money to waste the than majority of people on this board will ever make in their entire lives. He didn't mention any of his movies at the Wrestlemania press conference yesterday, and unsurprisingly, nobody is bitching about it. We should be thankful he came back at all.

This is getting a lot of coverage locally because he used to coach at Robert Morris (where I went to college), which is near Pittsburgh for those who don't know. I know many players who he coached there and none of them ever said a bad thing about him. They have vouched that what took place at Rutgers did not take place at Robert Morris. I am not condoning in any way what he did and believe the right action was taken. I saw an interview with him yesterday, he was very upset over what happened and feels he let his teams, his previous teams, fans, his family, and so many others down.

The reaction WWE wants him to get and the reaction he will get are two completely different things

I have DirecTV, and if your watching it live, just hit record. If you want to watch it later, select "record and watch later" when purchasing (you have 30 days to watch it, you won't be charged if you never do)

I was only half paying attention to Cena's promo, but didn't he say something like "Cenacrats and Rockpublicans" or something like that, even though a more accurate term would be "Rockcrats and Cenapublicans" Anyway, I felt both promos were lacking tonight. It's still obvious Cena will win, but the question is how?

If it is heroin, it is a damn shame. I've lost a few acquaintances over the years due to that horrible, horrible drug. Let this be a lesson to anyone who ever even gave something like that a thought. Lost 3 people I know thanks to that beast. Worst thing to get into. I know exactly what you mean, I've lost two people from my graduating class and several other people, all young, some younger than me. It's a horrible tragedy that nobody should have to go through. Thoughts and prayers are with Ric Flair and his family

I was at that Raw in Pittsburgh as was I, she was RIGHT in front of me. #neverforget Me too, apparently it wasn't planned either, just an accident. During the match (Haas vs Morrison), Morrison yells out, "who cares about Lillian" during a Lillian chant while she was being attended to.

I've gone to movies myself a couple times and don't see anything wrong with it. If you want to see a movie and can't find anybody else to go, just go alone, there's nothing wrong with it.

I cant pinpoint the problem with Rock/Cena II, besides the match honestly happening. It just seems that if/when Cena wins, people will just forget about Rock/Cena I. The first one to me, was the most important match in their history, maybe second to Rock/Hogan. But that was Cena's match to win, he legit needed to win that one, and he lost. Thats it. He doesnt need to win this one at all, he called out Rock and got beat last year. This Cena ran his mouth, Rock came back to shut him up, Rock won, story over.

I would also like to add this.
Suppose this was reversed in a way, if The Rock spoke at a press conference promoting WrestleMania and didn't promote any of his movies, nobody on here would bitch. The double standards here are a little extreme.

I didn't want Cena to win last year and I don't want him to win this year, so I'll celebrate if he loses. He's winning though.

The Rock has been promoting G.I. Joe, that's was why he hasn't been on Raw the past two weeks. I doubt anybody has considered this. G.I. Joe was supposed to come out last summer, but was delayed until now to upgrade to 3D. If G.I. Joe came out last summer like it was supposed to, The Rock would probably have been able to appear on Raw the last two weeks.
As far as The Rock's appearance on Leno, I didn't see it, but was it about promoting G.I. Joe or promoting WrestleMania? Why would he promote one if it's about promoting the other.

Just saw this discussed in another board
Does anyone think its possible that The Governor was bitten when the pack of walkers was unleashed at him? You could hear him scream in the background and he did seem tired and scratched up when he returned to Woodbury. Could he be hiding the bite and plan to take out everyone in the prison before he turns?
