I'm not as excited as I have been in years past. As a fan, I'm still going to watch because it's Wrestlemania. I'm not looking forward to the likely outcome of the main event, it's not something I'm looking forward to or even think should happen.

That word is disgusting to say to anyone, especially a 9 year old. They just want attention. What exactly is The Onion anyway?

With Punk not being in the main event and we have to see twice in a lifetime, the only thing that would make sense is him facing Taker. Here's how I would set it up.
Next week, Punk comes out and gives props to Cena, then says something like "John, you and Dwayne can have your little rematch, but when Wrestlemania is over, the only thing people will talk about is me." "I'm going to do something that niether one of you can do, something that nobody has ever done...I will beat The Undertaker." "Deadman, limp out of whatever hole you're hiding in, come to Mania for your big once a year payday, because it will be your last." "On April 7th, the best in the world does the impossible." The lights go out, Taker appears, chokeslams him, then accepts.
They could build off of that, Punk's lack of respect and Taker's command for it, as well as Punk wanted to prove he is the best in the world and wanting to upstage Rock and Cena

Does anyone else think that Ziggler will lose when he finally cashes in? The way it's been teased a few times and pretty much guarenteeing he is going to win, I wouldn't be suprised if they had him lose when he cashes in. It would be interesting with him failing and would create shock value. He could then going around with the burden of being the only guy to lose in his cash-in attempt (Cena won by DQ when he cashed-in) only to win in a legit one-on-one match months later.

Jordan never quit on his team to join another with two other top players to finally win a championship. When Lebron quit on Cleveland to join Miami, any right to compare him to Jordan was taken away.

I always get excited for Wrestlemania, but this years its different. The reason is I have a feeling that I won't see anything at Wrestlemanina that I didn't see coming.
I'll start with the likely main event of The Rock defending the WWE championship against John Cena in a rematch of last year's main event. If this match happens, it's basically a guarentee Cena will win. What's the point of ordering a show when the main event result is so obvious a blind person could see it coming? The only way to make this exciting would be to add Punk into the match, which is still possible, but unlikely.
Next, I'll go with the rumored HHH vs. Brock Lesnar rematch. I don't think it would be a surprise if Triple H gets his win back here. The likely storyline will be his revenge and it would only make sense for him to win.
Another thing I feel predictable now, stop reading if you haven't watched Raw from last night yet, is the World Heavyweight Championship match. As soon as Jericho qualified for the Chamber, it became obvious, he wins, Ziggler cashes in on whoever wins the Show/Del Rio match and Jericho vs. Ziggler is set for Wrestlemania with the title on the line. The result is obvious because like The Rock, Jericho is leaving after Wrestlemania.
That's three main event matches, all with easily predictable outcomes? What is the selling point to make people want to watch this show? Other than it being Wrestlemania, what is the point of it? Wrestlemania 29 needs something to happen to save the show from being a complete flop, that is CM Punk, his involvement could save the show.
If he isn't put into the WWE Title match, then the only option is for him to face The Undertaker. People will say, "that's obvious too, Taker will win", however, I remember reading not too long ago that Taker wants to do this match, lose, and retire. CM Punk defeating The Undertaker at Wrestlemania and ending the streak would have everybody talking. It would also put Punk over like nobody has been put over before. I'm a fan of The Undertaker, always have been and always will be, but I feel it's time to retire. What better way to go out than to put over someone who could carry WWE for years to come.
The only problem is, I don't see that happening because that would make Punk a bigger star than Cena and overshadow his title win on the same night. That's against the law in WWE's lawbook. So, I feel that WWE is setting up the most predictable Wrestlemania in history this year.

I'm wondering which long delayed project is going to actually be launched first, the WWE Network or Dr. Dre's Detox album?

Being from Pittsburgh, I wonder if this will receive a little local coverage. I remember an article in the paper around 2005 when he turned them down, so they should have an article about him finally accepting.
Maybe this means they are in the planning of building an actual HOF. I remember hearing that one of the reasons Bruno kept refusing was that there wasn't an actual HOF.

I'd say right now Orton is more well known and could be considered the bigger star, however, given their current paths, Punk may surpass Orton by the time theirs careers are over.

I have that shirt.
It's more of a pun than anything else, so there's no real reason for anyone to wear it on TV, although I would mark out if someone Cena was fueding with wore it one night.

I've always said that the streak should never end, however, I do like this idea. Punk is probably the only person I wouldn't mind ending the streak. The would be the thing that people will remember him for. Being the only man to ever defeat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania would put Punk over in ways that nobody has been over before. Plus as a heel, he can brag about it endlessly. IF, it happens though, it needs to be a clean finish, no shield interference or special ref bullcrap.

No matter how much you hate seeing Cena/Rock headline, one does not simply "boycott" Wrestlemania. ^This A Rock vs. Cena rematch is the last thing I want to see, but I'm still going to watch Wrestlemania.

There will be no Rock/Cena/Punk triple threat at Wrestlemania. Because that leaves no one for Undertaker to face at Mania. The only way for WWE to include HHH, Brock, Cena, Punk, Undertaker, and Rock in the top three matches of WM are to have the exact matches of HHH vs Brock II, Cena vs Rock II, and Punk vs Undertaker. Punk vs Undertaker is going to be a great storyline. Two rematches shouldn't hurt Mania too much seeing as we still have Jericho, Ryback, and the WHC (likely involving Dolph as champion or as cashing in) match to fill out the uppercard. The card this year is slightly more stacked than last year with two new/returning main eventers (Ryback and Brock) in the mix. Rock vs. Brock, Cena vs. Taker, Punk vs. Triple H? Rock vs. Taker, Cena vs. Triple H, Punk vs. Brock? Cena vs. Punk, Rock vs. Triple H, Taker vs. Brock?
