god damn, so im playing this guy as the yankees and this guy is the red sox. im beating him 5-0 and joba is on the mound for me. its the fifth inning and i have struck out 14 guys, then we "lose" the connection, such B.S.!!!

Started a dynasty with the rays yesterday. Signed Manny who will play right, and simed all the way to 2011. Haven't won a WS yet, but another AL championship. Then traded Jason Hammel and a second round pick to the mets for K-Rod, and completed my lineup for the upcoming season.

Not a future draft pick, I am in 2011 (because I sim through) and traded my 2nd round pick from last year, I don't know his name at the moment though. Kevin something.

i just had the game of my life. im playing xnuttxx online and this guy is killing me, its 5-0 in the eight. hes the giants im the yankees and im home. i get a run in the 8th and then the guy loads the bases. posada comes up and hits a grandslam off the bottem of the foul pole. i take the lead 6-5 and mo comes in the shut it down. i was screaming thats how pumped i was.

Sounds cool. At least the guy didn't act like a jerk and say you were cheating. I also had a great game online. I was the Rays, this guy was the red sox. Dice-K was pitching along with Price. So I'm losing in the top of the 9th 3-0. I get the bases loaded with Aki, Upton, and the Navarro gets on with an error. So I put Perez on for him, and Crawford comes in. Now, he had Papelbon(SP?) in but then started warming up Okajima so I knew I was getting to him. But he kept Papelbon in. So Crawford hits what looks like a home run, but the ball looked like it landed on the edge of the Monster (why it wasn't a HR I don't know) Now I see that it starts falling down, and Crawford is already around second so I decide to take my chances (it was already tied, why not.  ) and he throws it wide, Crawford gets an inside the park homer (first one I ever got in MLB 09 or 08) and J.P strikes out the side in the bottom of the ninth. One of the best games I ever played online. And the best part was the headsets. I can hear him on the other side "trying" to act like a good sport while he sounded like he was cussing. He didn't act "jerkisk" though. It's a rare thing to get someone who is actually mature and not an A-hole. |

So another epic online game. Not as epic as the other one in my mind but here it is. Im the yankees, the other guy is the rays. im home and CC is on the mound and he has Kaz going. Its a 1-1 duel into the 9 where i put in veras for an inning. Mo comes in for the 10 and 11th, he brings in grant balfour in the 11th and jeter comes up and pulls a home run and just stays fair down the right field line. a walk off shot by mr november. so awesome

Guess I should of been more specific. Oh alright I gotcha. I had a pretty great game the other day. I was the Yankees against the Indians (this wasn't online I was against the computer.) I was up 4-0 and CC shut them down but I threw a ton of pitches and he left in the 6th. I brought in Edwar who immediately gave up a two run homer so it was 4-2. Then I brought in Damaso with one out to face Hafner, but he gave up a two run homer so it was 4-4. I left him in, however, to face Choo who was up in a batter. He got the next out but then gave up a homer to Choo so it was 5-4 them. I gave up a homer with Veras so it was 6-4 them. In the ninth with two outs I had Posada on first with one out and pinch hit Swisher for Gardner and first pitch hit a game tying homer. I ended up losing in the 13th but it was intense. |

I'm addicted to this game. I just finished my second year in the majors. In my first year with SF I won ROY with a .323 avg. (led NL), 32 hrs, and 111 rbis. I signed a 3 year deal for 17 million. Then in my second year I hit .319 avg, 54 hrs, and 135 rbis and won MVP. SF won the world series against Oakland and won NL playoff MVP. This is awesome.

Good lord how did you finish 2 seasons already. But 54 HR's isnt that many to me. IT gets ridiculous in career. I've hit as many as 85 before in career.
I agree though, this games incredible.

I really just simmed through the minors. I had 30 hrs and 100 rbis in 2 years in the minors. Hitting homeruns in this mode really is easy. I hate the baserunning though.

I remember the first time I tried. I was the winning run of third, and when a ball was hit up the middle I just stood there because I couldn't figure out how to go. And we lost the game.  I just had another amazing game. Longest game I ever played, 21 INNINGS! My god, it took me probably 5 hours. I used my whole bullpen, and had to use my starters. The game was VERY high scoring too. The final score ended up being 17-16. Damn...my eyes hurt. |

That's the reason I don't plan online anymore. People get mad that they are losing and don't finish or game. Or worse, people get a 1-0 lead and then pull their internet cord so they get the win. |

I'm a monster. I broke the rbi record with SF(200), then got traded to the Mets and broke the hr record(76). They keep offering me arbitration, so now I'm making 25 mil going into my 6th year. I've won 4 MVPS, 3 batting titles, 2 hank aarons, and 1 gold glove.

I created Roger Clemens. He's a real bad ass. I got pounded by the Red Sox with him and gave up 6 runs in 7 innings.....but I beat the Tigers with 7.2 innings of no run ball with 9 K's.
It looks pretty close to him. His pitching motion isn't in the game, but Generic 15 is ok I guess. Jeremy Guthrie also has a similar motion.

I'm so pissed at myself. I playing rivarly mode yesterday, and wasn't paying attention so I saved it to my career mode. now I lost it.  I started again as a starting pitcher and got drafted by the Royals. |
