I'm mostly pleased with the election results in Georgia. I can't wait until we have city elections again though. They came really close to a house cleaning last time. Next election I don't think they will be so lucky.

Both 19 and 203 failed, while 203 was EXTREMELY close I'm still disappointed. I wish people would get more educated and open their mind. At least the idea is in peoples mind now so maybe within the next couple of years they will pass them. 203 pisses me off most though, it was medical, it is proven to actually help people who need it, I know it's easy for people to get a card but for those who don't abuse the system it really helps. I thought we where taking a step in the right direction for freedom.

God, I hate living in California. This is a real conversation I had. Friend: Yo man, you vote? Me: Mail in, yeah. F: Oh sweet. What you vote for Prop 19? M: Legalize it. Weve fought it this long, might as well try it, see what happens. F: Yeah. M Whod you vote for Senate? F: What? M: The Senate race? Fiorina and Boxer? F: Ive got no idea what youre talking about, I just want legal weed. M: ... Sadly, Im pretty sure he wasnt the only one with that mindset. I'm actually OK with this. At least he's voting for the individual rights of human beings. Go Kentucky! Rand Paul FTMFW!I'm so glad that a legitimate person got elected into office this year. yay for kicking people's heads in!!

But it's not the government's job to prove that kind of care. There is a little thing called personal responsibility. Because of the Declaration of Independence. "that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life." UNALIENABLE RIGHTS. Life is amongst that. We are guaranteed life, so the government should be there to ensure that right by having health care for every citizen. What is life then? That is why I'm pro-life

I was actually planning a move to California if prop 19 passed yesterday. Looks like I'm going to have to wait a while longer, but I still consider the vote itself as progress.

yay for kicking people's heads in!! ... So you blame him for what his supporters do? Do you blame Barack Obama for his supporters who have been convicted of murder?

Even though I don't agree with him I still appreciate that his ideals are clear from the start. He's just got a lot of nuts following him, but that can be said for anyone. And obviously there are more factors playing into a decision for a move, but the passing of the bill would have been the icing on top. Its just a shame, I had high hopes.

I don't like drugs and I think that no one SHOULD smoke weed, but the fact that the proposition to legalize it didn't pass is extremely discouraging to me.
Why do people feel the need to enforce their beliefs on others? It's just such a sad, pathetic thing.

This was not as bad as 1994. In 1994, we lost both the House and Senate.

This was not as bad as 1994. In 1994, we lost both the House and Senate. Clinton also went out of his way to look into what he was doing and how it might be negatively affecting the party. Then he tried to change those things and gain bipartisan support on his efforts. I don't see Obama doing that.

Obamas goal, like anyone else is to be reelected. I wouldn't rule him doing anything out, except for maybe what bob saget was willing to do in Half Baked

Obama is hurting from being overhyped to begin with. It's like the WWE bringing in some new guy and hyping them to the moon and giving them all kinds of promo time. Then the guy gets in the ring and can't execute a body slam to save his life. People hate him. He was hyped and now he he can't deliver the goods. Obama is going through the same thing.

Why do people feel the need to enforce their beliefs on others? It's just such a sad, pathetic thing. I think your beef should be with the attorney general who said they will continue to enforce federal laws against m.j. they want to tax and regulate it.. but doesn't that make local and state officials an accessory in violating federal laws? I voted against it because it just wasn't a good, well thought out bill.. I would vote to legalize it because I believe it, but I voted the way I did with the thought of "bring me back a better plan for it and I will say yes!" I am for the legalization of marijuana. It would cut down on boarder violence, put the cartels out of business and the state would benefit off of taxing it..
