I don't care if I'm the only one who thinks this, but Mitrione will beat Kongo.

I think so too. But after Kongo's last win, don't ever count him out again.

Anyone else cheering for Diaz in this fight?
Also, you think that CroCop will be Roy?

great card.
I am cheering on Diaz. I think he will do better than St. Pierres last handful of opponents.
also I am hoping Penn wins...I like Condit but I feel Penn will be too much for him.
I will always cheer on CroCop. No matter what.

Anyone else cheering for Diaz in this fight? I love Diaz but I'll still be cheering for GSP - hopefully he (Diaz) will bring out the best in him... I'd like to see the "old" GSP back. I'd really like BJ and CroCop to win too. I hope all the fights happen - it's an amazing card.

I am cheering on Diaz. I think he will do better than St. Pierres last handful of opponents. lol no way. I think the pressure will get to Diaz, and he'll be trapped under GSP for 25 minutes. It's a shame too, because Diaz is a great fighter. I'll be looking forward to another KO of the Night from my favorite fighter. Penn can win if he comes in motivated, but we haven't seen that guy in 3 out of his last 4. I'm hoping Condit gets a shot at the strap after this one. I could see Mitrione winning this one. Obviously, The Barry fight showed us that with Cheick, it's not over until it's over.

I see St. Pierre winning in a fashion similar to that of his fight with Shields. It is unfortunate because St. Pierre used to be really entertaining to watch and you never knew what he was going to do. Now he fights just to keep the title and doesn't do anything impressive.
I also see Penn winning. I don't know if I could say that it'll be an impressive knockout like Matt Hughes though.

Why does everyone always want to blame GSP for the lack of "entertainment" in his fights? He isn't going to do anything to put him in a position to lose his belt. He did it before and got caught by Serra, he's learned his lesson so now he just lets the opponent push the action and take the belt but so far, everyone is terrified of GSP and no one wants to attack him so why would he put in the effort if his opponent doesn't? With that said, this fight is going to be amazing. I've always wanted to go to Vegas to watch a fight live and this one seems as good as one as ever to go to. Once tickets go on sale I'm going to try and score some great seats and if I can then I'll be going to Vegas for Halloween. Can't wait.

He may not be the most exciting fighter in the world anymore, but he's smart - he never puts himself in danger or gets in trouble. Diaz may be the more exciting fighter, but his style is quite reckless and dangerous... if I had to put my money on someone, it would be on a guy like St.Pierre, every time.

If Anderson Silva gets soooooooooooo much hate for not finishing two fights in his UFC career...I think its only fair I give GSP sh** for not finishing his last six.

It wasn't that he didnt finish them. It was the way he was acting during the fights that pissed everyone off. Both of those fights he could have finished and decided instead to dance around. GSP doesnt finish some fights but you HAVE to respect the fact that he may well be the hardest working in MMA.

If you've never been to a live event, you don't really understand how terrible it is to watch some one lay and pray for 25 minutes. And not just that, but do the equivalent on the feet. Jab, circle, jab, circle. I would never, EVER pay to see GSP fight live, dude. Seriously. Do I like him? Yes, and he's #2 P4P in my book. Dude's a beast. But I'd rather watch many other fighters go to work.

Damn, I love the Cowboy but Stouts one of my favourites. Any reason why he pulled out? Was it due to his trainer passing away?

“I’ve had no contact with Dana White and have not re-negotiated with the UFC. I agreed to my next fight and that’s it. I can now exclusively confirm that I will fight my last UFC fight October 29 in Las Vegas against Roy Nelson.” - Mirko Filipović. I hope he just says " it" and fights his heart out and retires on a good note.
