^ Yeah, it would be good to see him go out with a win... especially via head kick over Nelson(!). I think he can do it too.

I'm gonna CRINGE if GSP once again can't finish a fight.

Condit being pretty realistic about if the fight goes to a decision...
"I'm always looking for the finish. Georges is very good at winning rounds, at dictating the pace of the fight. I feel like if it goes to a decision, I'd probably be on the losing end of the scorecards."

Lol.. Even Condit knows he can't beat GSP. What are the odds of GSP losing anyways like 1 in a million. Hopefully Diaz wins so he will be next in line to fight GSP and finally dethrone him. Honestly, if Nick Diaz doesn't beat GSP... NOBODY will ever beat GSP and he might as well retire the belt since he's scared to step up to Middleweight and challenge Silva.

The notion that GSP is scared of/ ing Silva is the dumbest ing notion. Ok then...Silva's scared to move up and fight Bones Jones. Bones Jones is scared to move up to fight Cain Velasquez. Frankie Edgar is scared to move up and fight GSP. Blah blah blah blah

I'm actually thinking Condit may pull this one off.

I see Condit going balls-to-the-wall broke in this one. KTFO or get KTFO'd. Wouldn't honestly surprise me to see him clip GSP good.

I think Condit may not be as technically good a fighter as GSP, or even Shields/Penn/Diaz/etc. but I really think, as someone above said, he will make up for that by throwing it all on the line and having an all-out war in the ring! GSP has been playing it safe, and Shields looked very safe against him, so I really want Condit to sh*t up and start a riot!

i personally have cerrone... but i meant... who does the winner fight next? where does this victory lead them? sivers won 4 in a row, cerrones won 3 in a row in the ufc, 5 in a row overall. perhaps an eliminator fight?

The winner will probably fight Pettis or Miller.

We all saw how freaked out GSP was when Shields plucked him in the eye. He was rattled and was not the same GSP for the rest of the fight. That's the truth. If you rattle GSP you can beat him, the way to rattle him is to go balls out and try to take that mother ers head. If it 5 rounds GSP is winning Via score cards. Now, with that said we know GSP's game plan will be to establish he jab, and score a take down within the last moments of the round.

BJ Penn Vs Nick Diaz - Second Round TKO
Cheick Kongo Vs Matt Mitrione- Second Round TKO
Mirko Cro Cop Vs Roy Nelson - First Round KO
Scott Jorgenson Vs Jeff Curran - Unanimous Decision
Hatsu Hioki Vs George Roop - First Round Submission
My excitement isn't through the roof for this event. Perhaps I'm just burned out after 136, but I'm still looking forward to the build up next week for this event.
I have no idea why I'm going for BJ, but I am. I see BJ falling prey to Diaz's "pitter patter" style but not for long. BJ will tag and drop him then either finish with strikes or go for a sub. But then again, Diaz could very well win a decision, but like I said, for some strange reason I'm going with Baby J.
Cro Cop's last fight. So if he loses to Big Country, that's what? 3 Nasty KO losses in a row? God, I hope not, but honestly, I don't see any other way this fight can play out other than Nelson knocking him out and sending him into retirement. I hope I'm wrong. One last "Left head kick" would be utter bliss.

Diaz has been clipped and dropped enough times to in past fights validate a prediction for Penn to win via TKO or KO.
Diaz won't go to the ground with Penn unless BJ takes it there, he's already said that he's gonna stand with him, and Penn's never been dropped by anyone before. Not Edgar, not Hughes, not GSP, etc.
I've got Penn by TKO or KO in this one too. The real toss up for me is St. Pierre/Condit.

Condit doesn't really stand a chance at beating GSP. Unless he gets some miracle TKO. GSP will dance around and score points and will win via unanimous decision. 99.99999% sure of this.
And GSP has said in an interview that he DOES NOT want to move up weight to fight Silva, he says that he's too big for him. Hence, he's scared. There is talk about Bones Jones moving up to Heavyweight though....

I think Penn looked as good as possible against Tumbleweed Fitch. The non-stop clinch game and wrestle- ing is what slowed him down so heavily in the 3rd. I don't think cardio will be an issue with Diaz. And Penn's boxing is right on par, maybe even better than Diaz's. If Daley could drop Diaz, then Penn definitely can too. The difference in striking defense and chins is what's gonna determine this one more than anything, and I've gotta give an edge to Penn. I love Diaz to death, wouldn't be upset or surprised if he won in the least, but if I had to bet..I'd put it on Penn.
