BJ Penn is not retiring. His camp and Cesar Gracies camps are joining. I didn't really take his retirement announcement too seriously. I think he was just frustrated with himself that he let himself get pulled into exactly what Diaz wanted him to. It was obviously a very emotional fight for him seeing as how he was tearing up in his walk-out to the cage. I'm pretty sure we'll see him again. He didn't really look bad against Diaz, so it's not like he's past his prime. Diaz just happened to be better than him on that particular night. |
