Triple H vs Punk and NOC was actually quite good, a rematch at Mania would be no different. CM Punk doesn't deserve to ever go over the game though, Triple H is the real best in the world. Fact. Since his comeback in 02 HHH has gotten worse and worse and proves that he is the LAMEST in the world. He looked incredibly out of shape in his TLC match against Nash (Although it turned out to be entertaining). Punk should go over HHH multiple times before the Lame hangs it up for good.

After speaking to several sources, WZ has learned that new talk has surfaced within WWE regarding WrestleMania 28 plans. Contrary to what has been previously reported, it appears that The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho and Triple H vs. CM Punk are the two big matches currently being discussed. WWE is aware that due to online reports, fans have been expecting the tentative plan for Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk at Mania, and while those plans have not been scrapped by any means, officials have discussed a creative shake-up. In addition to the internet motive, there is belief internally that more could have been done in the past between CM Punk and Triple H.Chris Jericho and The Undertaker also provides a fresh WrestleMania match up compared to a third WrestleMania meeting between Triple H vs. The Undertaker, which as reported, has been on the table for quite some time. Again, we can't confirm at this time that either of the above matches will take place at WrestleMania 28 but both are being heavily considered. The week of the Royal Rumble is always a big week creatively, and WWE likes to have the major WrestleMania matches in place as much of what happens at the Rumble of course feeds into WrestleMania. Triple H is scheduled to appear on RAW this Monday conducting the job "evaluation" of John Laurinaitis. Obviously after the Royal Rumble, plans may and should become clearer. Keep it right here on WZ as we will continue to follow this develping story. More could have been done in the past between CM Punk and Triple H? You don't say. Here's the problem. Triple H's ego is too big, and he's not about to enter any type of feud where he's not the one who's over in the feud. WWE got away from that feud after ONE MONTH (SS-N.O.C. 2011) for the same reason. Two big stars had a feud that lasted all of one month. They got away from the Punk/Cena feud #2 after one and a half months as well, with Punk being off screen half the time. (MITB to SS). Hell, even when Punk was a clear HEEL taking over Nexus, WWE got away from the Punk/Cena feud #1 (December 2010-Royal Rumble 2011) only after one month because Punk was burying Cena on the mic and Cena just looked weak. So, yeah, NO KIDDING more could have been done between Punk and HHH, or Punk and any of Vince's/HHH's boys who he refuses to let Punk go over. Want to know why it seems Punk "cooled off"? Because he went from feuds with Vince, Cena, HHH, and Nash to lame storylines involving R-Truth, the Miz, Alberto Del Rio, and John Laurinaitus. Imagine Austin in 1998 feuding with Faarooq, Savio Vega, Gerald Brisco, and Steve Blackman. Yeah, that's pretty much what we've been getting. However, knowing that HHH is going to book himself to win WrestleMania against the top superstar right now doesn't make HHH/Punk at WrestleMania a good idea. Undertaker/Jericho means Undertaker is winning. It's very likely Rock is going to beat Cena, however, that one is okay. We don't need two, old, over the hill, come-and-go-as-they-please wrestlers booking themselves to go over two guys who still have a lot to bring to the table (Punk and Jericho). Really? HHH and Undertaker, winning at WrestleMania, in 2012?

Well even if Triple H is incredibly out of shape(which he's not) then being in a match up with Punk is the best thing for him, sense CM Punk clams that he's "The Best In The World" he should be able to carry him to a good match up. Their match last year was pretty good besides the BS end which back then I assumed went that way to set up a big match up and feud down the line i.e Wrestlemania. The storyline is match better as well with Triple H .Vs CM Punk sense if you real look at things Punk hep destory Triple H life but getting Vince McMahon fired, hold the WWE hostage, talking trash about his self and his wife, causing a feud between himself and his best friend Kevin Nash....ect the storyline writes itself.

Although Jericho/Punk also writes itself in a way and i'd rather see that, A conclusion to Punk/HHH would be great also. Their NOC match was another MOTY candidate minus the ending and a proper ending with Punk going over would be great at a future WM or sometime this year but not this WM.

The lame? Come on man. Triple H has accomplished more in one year than Punk has in his whole career. How many incredible matches has HHH had? What was the best match of last years Mania? Triple is a fine wine and Punk is Busch. Punk has always been really good, no doubt. But he has not delivered in the same way HHH has. Every year Triple H has an epic match, Punk slumps all the time.

Meh i only call HHH 'The Lame' because it rhymes with Game and i'll rather call him the lame than the game... I was a HUGE HHH MARK for years in the Attitude Era and even a bit after but then HHH started to just suck and get old and lame. Hes been boring since 06 and his constant Title reigns and WM matches have been over kill. He even turned the Summer of Punk into the Summer of Junk which lead to a big storyline involving this chaos ownership deal which ended with no big pay off. Punk could end up bigger than HHH once Punk's career ends. HHH is still a house hold name but right now i think he sucks and shouldn't ruin a big Jericho/Punk feud just so he can be in ANOTHER Title match at WM and just so he can take the spotlight away from Punk. HHH/Nash, Taker/Kane, Jericho/Punk is the way to go for WM28 in my opinion and hopefully this all happens.

The internet has always hated Triple H. They have some fictional belief that he slept his way to the top even though he was a main eventer and had his first WWF Title before anything with Stephanie. Now, I can't say if he did hold anybody back from stepping up, but I can't say he did either. Just like no one here knows if he did or didn't. The internet hate for Triple H is ridiculous and anyone that says he was never that good, isn't very bright.
Now onto Triple H vs Punk, I'd rather see Punk vs Jericho because we've already seen Punk vs Hunter.

I don't care who he married or who his stepfather is, if he wasn't the best ing wrestler alive none of it would matter. He delivers every damn time he's in a big match situation with a worth opponent. With the exception of the Steiner feud, his career on top has been a thing of perfection. I'd love to see somebody compare Punk's talents and accomplishments to HHH's. Punk is hot or cold all of the time.

I'd rather see Punk/Jericho, Taker/Kane and HHH/Nash than Punk/HHH and Taker/Jericho. Agreed 100%.

Although HHH/Taker was a classic, Punk/Cena from MITB and SS blows Taker/HHH out the water. More Wrestling, Emotion, Tension, More on the line, Great build up and payoff and didn't need drama to make it a classic match. For being in the WWE for about 5-6 years Punk has had an impressive run so far and worked his way from the bottom to the top to become WWE Champion.

Triple H looked like crapin that match with Nash at TLC, Triple H should hang up the boots and the sledgehammer. I think Taker Vs Jericho would be a interesting match but why in the hell would they have Jericho lose at his first WrestleMania back with the company. I feel that Punk Vs. Jericho would be a better match.

But wouldn't it make sense for Triple H to face Undertaker at WM 28? Seeing that he said in his promo the night after WM 27 that he will be waiting.

I personally love the idea of Jericho vs Taker more than I do either of Kane vs Taker or HHH vs Taker.
I would rather see Punk vs Ziggler than Punk vs Triple H. I'm not sure why Triple H is even needed on the card. The match will draw because of CM Punk regardless of who he faces and it seems like a great opportunity to put Ziggler over.

'Taker/Jericho would probably be a better WM match than Punk/Jericho. No matter what else goes on, WWE will never short change an Undertaker match at WM. However, we've seen plenty of championship matches that have suffered from being too short due to time constraints for the overall show. Jericho/Punk would probably get more time to put on a classic main event at a non-WM PPV.
That plus the fact that Jericho/Cena are the two guys left that I really want to see face 'Taker at WM, means I'm all for Jericho/'Taker.

I still think they should go with:
HHH vs. Taker in a Last Man Standing Match and Jericho vs. Punk for the Title.
