We are less than three weeks out from the beginning of the 2014 - 2015 College Football Season. The Florida State Seminoles defeated the Auburn Tigers in what was a fantastic finish to the BCS Era in College Football. But it is a new season, a new age in College Football. In the end four teams will face off in the first EVER College Football Playoffs. Who will make it? Who is the favorite? The coaches have named their Preseason Top 25. Do you agree? Preseason Top 251. Florida St. 2. Alabama 3. Oklahoma 4. Oregon (1) 5. Auburn 6. Ohio St. (1) 7. UCLA 8. Michigan St. 9. South Carolina (1) 10. Baylor 11. Stanford 12. Georgia 13. LSU 14. Wisconsin 15. USC 16. Clemson 17. Notre Dame 18. Arizona St. 19. Mississippi 20. Texas A&M 21. Kansas St. 22. Nebraska 23. N. Carolina 24. Texas 25. Washington Others Receiving Votes:Missouri 126, Florida 122, UCF 102, Mississippi St. 74, Oklahoma St. 56, TCU 54, Michigan 53, Iowa 49, Miami (FL) 45, Duke 41, Louisville 32, Marshall 27, BYU 18, Boise St. 13, La Lafayet. 12, Virginia Tech 12, Texas Tech 8, Minnesota 6, Cincinnati 6, Northwestern 5, Oregon St. 4, Fresno St. 4, Georgia Tech 2, Houston 2, Northern Illinois 1, Arizona 1, Arkansas 1 We've all gout OUR teams. For me it's my beloved Auburn Tigers. I went to Auburn and graduated with a degree in Radio, Television, and Film. I eat, sleep, and breath Auburn Football and College Football. Some people just don't understand the meaning of college football. They just don't get it. But growing up in the state of Alabama there are two choices... Auburn or Alabama. There are no professional teams. There are no other teams that matter in the state. It's Tigers or Tide. College football is RELIGION in the South. IT. IS. KING.
So... who you got?

What's up with the bans? Odd...
Anyhow, the SEC Network debuts in a few days. Can't wait for that. In other news, has anyone here ever heard of Paul Finebaum? He did a book signing in Dothan on Thursday, where I live, so he did his show remotely from a local radio station that carries his show. I work for a TV station and got to do a story on him being in town. Got to talk with him for a few minutes and get a pretty good interview as well as a picture with him. I have heard from a lot of people that he was sort of an ass in person, but he was very, very nice. He had nothing but kind words for myself and the intern I had with me.

Notre Dame is #17, better watch out. Golson is going to be ready to play this year.

I'm a UGA fan. I never expect much unlike most people around here who I guess believe H. Walker and others are coming through that tunnel every season. Maybe we get off to a good start. We begin with Clemson and S. Carolina. SEC East is wide open, and if you get to the SEC title game then you got a shot.

Georgia could be hurting early on. With two huge games like that right off the bat, it could begin very badly for the Dawgs.

This is going to be an interesting year, we're playing a new schedule including lots of games that will be a good test to see how notre dame plays against bigger teams. ND isn't SEC level, and I think that they're trying to get there. Especially after the BCS embarrasement. Basically, if we end the season ranked lower than 20, I'll be really suprised. Wouldn't complain though.

HAIL TO PITT.
They did well go themselves last year and I hope they can make some noise and maybe get ranked. They have the talent, just a matter of if they can do it.

Gonna be a rough one for the Buckeyes this year. Just didn't have it together against Navy. Granted, Navy is a little tougher than their usual openers, but it's a bummer that expectations after Braxton's injury have turned to "just hoping JT Barrett doesn't crap the bed".
It was made worse by Kentuckys impressive opener.

Pretty good opening weekend for college football. There were several entertaining games that kept me glued to the screen. Auburn's offense looked killer in the first half against Arkansas. Defense got gashed in the first half, but they shut the Hogs up in the second half. Seems like a lot of the top teams had good tests today.
