Dana White saying '"I don't know if he can fight or anything like that, but sure, I wouldn't mind talking to CM Punk" doesn't scream UFC 'wanting' Punk. LOL.

I'm sure Punk would jump right on it if he could only fight WWE fans.

I'm not buying into this. I normally take reports like this with a grain of salt.

Nothing in that article said that the UFC wants CM Punk.

How in the world could somebody read those quotes and think "UFC wants Punk + Brock is definitely returning?"
He said he didn't think Punk could fight but he'd be willing to talk to him, and he insinuated that the door was open for Brock to possibly return. He didn't say a damn thing that was for certain.

Punk just made fun of WWE for thinking he would ever go to UFC. He's probably got absolutely no desire to do that. I'm sure Dana would take a meeting with him just to get a rise out of McMahon but that's about it. I do think Punk could potentially do some kind of broadcasting for them and he would be good at it. Brock on the other hand, I think Dana definitely wants back if he can get him. Brock would be an idiot to go back to UFC if WWE is going to continue to hand him money for doing -all nothing.

Because Punk is money and Dana knows that. Even if fans tune into to watch him get wrecked they both still get paid.

I wouldn't be suprised if DC Comics, McDonalds, Pepsi, Walmart, Merril Lynch, Trump, Hooters, or any other company has reached out to him for deals. At this point, I expect him to be in a movie role, weather its A B role or not straight to DVD release...

I wouldn't mind seeing Punk get legit beat up that's for sure haha. He'd wish he was back in the ring with Ryback.

Moving this one to the UFC board. Punk isn't in the WWE anymore and this section is for current WWE chat.

Is there a "Skinny Fat Ass" weight division I'm unaware of?

If Punk can genuinely fight, then I'd love to see it - Dana knows it would be a big draw too... even the most casual WWE/UFC fan would probably have an interest in it. And Brock was always a HUGE draw for UFC, so I'm not surprised they'd like to sign him again... especially if he is 100% healthy (or near it) this time. Brock on the other hand, I think Dana definitely wants back if he can get him. Brock would be an idiot to go back to UFC if WWE is going to continue to hand him money for doing -all nothing. I think Brock loves to fight/test himself though, so he might prefer going to the UFC - and with WWE tightening their belt since The Network launch, it's unlikely they'd offer him a deal anywhere near as good as his current one(!).

Agreed, with all of that. It's going to be hard for WWE to go back to him now and say, "well, the Network isn't making money so we want you to do the exact same thing for less money." Brock's going to be like, "ok, I don't like this sh*t anyway." I think with sponsorships he'd probably make just as much money on a 3 fight deal with UFC.
