Is anyone else annoyed at how awful Ambrose has been booked? Do they even know what they have with him?

Nope. I think he's been booked fine. Still over and gets a lot of TV time. Do I want him to be more the guy? Sure, just not room and they are trying to push Roman. Dean will be on top eventually. Was I the only one entertained by the psych stuff?

The only thing i can see saving him will be if the fans start getting behind him as an "anti wwe guy" like they did when Daniel Bryan was jobbing to everyone.

The way I see it, WWE might feel that since we, the fans, got what we wanted last year with Daniel Bryan, it's time for us to shut up and allow whatever booking plans that they have set to go in motion. And clearly, those plans don't involve Dean Ambrose as a top-tier talent.

They have no idea what to do with him, and they'll wind up ruining him more than they already have managed to. No question. He's easily the most talented member of The Shield, but the complete ineptitude of Vince, Triple H and the writers will never let him be any more than a weak ass mid-carder. This company complains about not having enough stars who want it bad enough, yet they do everything humanly possible to sabotage the guys who should be stars. Dean Ambrose was insanely over during the summer, but I saw this all coming a mile away the second they jobbed him out to Rollins on back-to-back nights and he had his head smashed through cinder blocks. You don't book an up-and-comer that you think highly of that way. They have zero long-term plans for him. Rollins is being groomed as the next big heel, Reigns is being groomed as the next big babyface and Ambrose is being groomed as nothing more than a punching bag to get up-and-coming heels over. Compare the way Ambrose and Reigns have been booked since The Shield split up and that'll tell you all you need to know about what the company thinks of him. It's just like Cesaro, Ryback (and to a certain extent, Bryan and Punk) all over again, and is the reason why this company is doomed over the long haul.

What I am crapto say next is probably going to sound like an insult buy I swear it isn't meant to be: People like you have ruined wrestling for me.

They know what we want more than we do? They're supposed to let things like this happen organically. Instead they ignore what the fans want and try to create their own faux organic fan interest and it never works.

I don't like it. But look at Jeff Hardy. He lost a ton in his first run but was still massively over.

But both had their time when they were super over and the WWE just completely dropped the ball with them. And what possibly would lead you to believe they have long-term plans for him based on what you've seen so far?

It's quite apparent there is no long term plans.

I don't think there any long term plans because there seem to be no long term plans for anyone really since they book week to week. I believe, and I could be wrong, that what Palmer meant was that Dean's long term future might not be in terrible shape. Right now he's doing jack s*** but eventually, I can see him rising up. Daniel Bryan, Jeff Hardy and a few others endured losing streaks and turned out fine. I am, in no way, defending the booking though. He was red hot and should be booked much better.

It's quite apparent there is no long term plans. they expect people to get over despite them...which is funny since they try so hard to make reigns unstoppable bryan loses in 18 seconds at mania - he got over...kofi, why can't you do that? you don't need a rumble win...just a crazy spot I think they view dean like mick foley & will have him lose and think people will love him no matter what

The average WWE fan these days actually likes the unwatchable garbage they put out these days. WWE sucks so badly for one reason: IT MAKES MONEY. It's not about Vince being out of touch (even though he is) or the wrong guys usually being pushed over the guys that we actually want to see (even though they are). It's because the average modern day WWE fan is too lame to realize that the product sucks.
