Felt cheated by collecting every single non-duplicate of Build and Brawler(Jakks Deluxe GI Joe size figure) and constantly feeling kinda cheated when they'd switch body sizes from Protos to Final Products, and they ended up putting Batista size bodies on CM Punk and Jeff Hardy. Oh, and highly anticipating the final two sets of Jakks lifespan, which held such figures like Evan Bourne, R-Truth, updated Orton's and Jeff Hardy, Eddie Guerrero, then the Protos came out and they were sets of 4 of re-releases. Still have that announce table and JR to this day!

the effort jakks would put into things like t shirt designs and just overall attention to detail during 00-02 before the ra series started was unreal. I think the ra bodies looked better, but this was when jakks became almost scared to paint the backs of figures and would start cutting corners whenever they could the classic superstars rockers were ing terrible. For me though the real kick in the teeth was the way they half assed the line for the last year, year and a half then expected us all to jump on board their tna line. It used to drive me crazy when Jeremy would come on here telling us how this next series is the best thing ever, everyone would be lining up to give him a reach around, only for said series to come out, be half assed, not like he said it would and for him to disappear for months........ But he would always come back to hype everyone up again and people bought into his bs. What was wrong with the rockers again? They had cool yellow shirts and tights with blue designs on them on the front, but it was just plain yellow on the back.

"Ever Not Feel Cheated By Jakks?" would be more accurate.

Chaos in the Cell and Adrenaline Series 13 represent two of the most egregious mistakes by Jakks, as already discussed in here. Jakks had never made an accurate steel cage attachment to any of their rings prior to 2001, let alone an attempt at a Hell in a Cell playset, so you can imagine the frustration when collectors opened this box and were met with cage pieces that most certainly did not include a roof as was advertised. However, looking back on it now, $9.99 was a great price for all of the cage parts (locking clips, connectors, support brackets, locking tabs, roof panels and side walls) and chair accessory that were included. Adrenaline Series 13 was inexcusable because the only Jakks/RA figures of Luther Reigns and Sylvain Grenier, not to mention exclusive repaints of Kurt Angle and Rob Conway, came with minimally-articulated TTL arms. The other 2-pack in the set featured Teddy Long's debut Jakks figure and another repaint for Rey Mysterio. Those two were afforded RA arms, which made the unwelcome change noticeable to even the most casual of collectors. According to Jeremy, "Chinese New Year" was to blame. Take from that what you will. It's also worth noting that Adrenaline Series 13 came out roughly 10 years ago this month.

I would be astounded to find that set for $9.99 nowadays.

That's the thing about Jakks, even for high $10 with tax at the time it was still a sick deal for that cage. I just threw my trash talking stage cage on the top of it. $5 for a small pack of weapons and $10 for the grapple gear was really fair too price wise, as was $5-9 for a basic figure
For the price, jakks definitely delivered from 96-2004 atleast. I never felt ripped off, even for the extra dollar or 2 KB or Kmart would charge per figure or set.
I thought mattel elites and basics were too much money from the beginning compared to jakks.

The only times I've felt cheated were my Greg Valentine figure and my Taz RSC Exclusive figure. Both figures had arms so loose they could fall right off. Though I don't know how much of that is on Jakks exactly, could have been shipped poorly and beaten up. I'm not sure.

I got kurt angle ruthless aggression I think it was series 22. He had his wrestlemania 22 outfit on. I took it out the box and the back of his outfit wasn't painted, jakks painted the front and left the back painted black. It could have been a great figure. The same thing happend with a Christian figure, he had red entrance trousers on, but they did not bother paint the back of the figure. Ah yes, RA22 would've been the perfect Kurt Angle figure ever if it had the back singlet design. However it didn't bother me seeing as the WM22 double pack with Rey came with an even WORSE version. It may sound odd but I did like Jakks missing out a few details as it gave me a chance to start/work on my customising skills.

RA 25 Shawn Michaels royally p'd me off. I was so looking forward to this: Which then became this: Safe to say I passed, but hated that he wasn't made like that. I never did like when they changed all HBK's to the non-accurate tracksuit leg mold. So we never got him in the correct pants mold like in the first photo. A lot of things went on like this. Half painting figures was a staple of figures being released in 2004. Christian in normal clothes had no pattern on his back, Billy Gunn (his only ever RA) had no lips on his shorts on the back, Ultimo Dragon had no dragon skin effect on the back of his tights... Even Trevor Murdoch released in Arenaline 21(?) had a plaid shirt, that was left plain white on the back. That was in 2006, so they still did it every now and then. I actually have the fig where he is moulded like the top picture

So you can't have unless you somehow obtained a test-shot figure which is next to impossible.

This is pretty much the same figure No it's not the same. I kept repeating in my original posts that the pants were all wrong and he was still missing details. You can go back and read them all to see what I meant if you want.

i was so happy when i saw this and was really sad when i saw this When I first saw this picture, I originally thought to myself "Why haven't I seen this figure before"? And of course, now I know the answer to such a silly question...

I got 2... The oval IC belt was atrocious, worse part was as they improved their belts and even remade the attitude world title they never even attempted to improve that belt.
R3- real scale, real scan, real reaction... I never understood where the reaction was. They were just skinny figures to me.
