I got 2... The oval IC belt was atrocious, worse part was as they improved their belts and even remade the attitude world title they never even attempted to improve that belt. R3- real scale, real scan, real reaction... I never understood where the reaction was. They were just skinny figures to me. I believe reaction had to do with various play sets associated with the line (backstage, metal vengeance, ect.) which would basically recognize the figures much like a tron-ready figure. Only difference were that they used chips embedded into their feet rather than the extruding metal plates used by TTL's.

I personally haven't had any of the playsets... However, I know there is a video on YouTube somewhere that demonstrates the recognition feature with the backstage one.
Just search "wwe r3 tech hall of pain" and it should be the first one. Excuse the profanity in it, as it was the only example I could find...

I felt cheated by Jakks with my first purchase of a John cena figure, and I believe it was a ruthless aggression figure, but I'm not sure. It featured a white shirt, with a closed (but grip style) hand and a open gesture hand. I wasn't a fan of having a cena with a shirt but at the time I just wanted a cena figure (they were almost always sold out in stores). The letdown was when I opened him up, his left arm was stuck cocked in a certain position, not because of stiff joints....but because there was a paint blob attaching his deltoid to his bicep. So I wanted to pose it, and broke the blob. To make matters worse, then the joint was loose and floppy after that, with a mark from oversprayed paint. Thanks Jakks....

I felt cheated when they changed the lineups for the last two classic superstars line especially series 28 with only releases.

I completely agree about the TTL body parts, anything that was left should have stayed away from Jakks' RA/AD/DA/anything else line-up. It was being cheap and they know it. Mind you I don't hate those figures, but I would not collect them especially after getting rid of them years ago, and more importantly going backwards in "technology" was absurd for the time those figures were made.

I remember once getting an Edge, a Shawn Michaels and a Triple H all from a Toyr R Us and none of them had detail on the backs of the figures.

So many protos had extra deco that was missing on the final product. Note that the final products weren't bad by most means, just lacking when compared to those gorgeous proto pics.

I felt cheated when I pre-ordered R3 Mr. Perfect from RSC, then it was cancelled ... I never got an e-mail or refund from then. Actually, I DID get cheated :/ That was the first thing I ever preordered from RSC. I ended up using my credit for the RA series 1 Orton.

This was also the first thing that I ever pre-ordered from RSC.

I recall the limited edition Kane unmasked that got rid of the eye circle makeup and the fake hair... Super disappointed but an awesome figure still nonetheless

It's been said but the Hell in a Cell without the roof was a big let down. I remember going to Target and finding a bunch of new figures and getting the Stone Cold figure with the t-shirt that said "Bye Bye Jack" on the back. Rather than jackass. One of his cooler shirts. But yeah I got that and the Cell play set and was bummed at no roof.
And my active collecting days were over at this point, but what Jakks did during the last year of their contract by not painting details on any of the figures was downright criminal. I guess they thought unpainted Triple H's and Randy Ortons were in high demand.
One figure I did want during that time period however, was that deluxe Chris Jericho in red trunks. The prototype looked great but the final product had unpainted kick pads and they were those stupid small ones that looked horrible. Needless to say I didn't pick up that figure.

Only when RA Brian Kendrick and Paul London were released as singles in series 25 only to have them both released together multiple times afterwards. Other than that, its been more disappointments than cheating like
-Releasing CSTT Strike Force with the molded on shirt/jacket making them ABSOLUTELY UNPLAYABLE in a match.
-TTL arms on Sylvan Greniers only figure
-Cancelled Ringmaster Steve Austin
-TNA figures released as Deluxes when a poll was taken and most of the collectors wanted RA-style
-Cancelling LOTR after 1 series

And to add insult to injury it was the TTL arms without elbow joints. I still ended up buying the La Resistance figures from that set after Christmas in 2005 because I had a Woolworths gift card.

YES! I got it for Chanukah when I was 10 thinking the same thing, and none of the stuff lit up or anything. The ring was also tiny! I remember writing a letter to jakks complaining about it, but I don't think I ever heard back. I'm pretty sure my mom got it on sale for like $25 or 30 at KB
