And I wonder what Seth Rollins is thinking right now..... as he sits at home rehabbing his own serious injury..... Yea, at the risk of being highly unpopular amongst the internet folks.... I blame Seth Rollins...... he's been directly involved in serious injuries to Cena, Sting.... and himself. Luckily for Rollins.. Sting flat out told him that it wasn't Rollins fault so I'm sure he'll be okay.

Sting came to WWE to get a WM match, a HOF induction, to make a bit of money and put a few guys over. I don't agree with Triple H beating him, but it's not as if he was going to come in and be a top star at his age. He got a WWE title match and put over the future in Seth Rollins. I'm satisfied.

The Cena injury was a freak accident. People take knees to the face all of the time but it just so happened that was the one to break Cena's nose. Sting also went out and flat out said it wasn't Seth's fault. Granted, I don't think a 56 year old man should have agreed to take a move like that but Seth is not to blame for these things.

If he had cervical spinal stenosis -- the NoC match was just the final straw. I'm wagering he's been on borrowed time for a while. Retroactively, HAD he went to WWE after WCW, instead of TNA, he probably would have been done a long while before this. That said, the dude is my #1 favorite wrestler of all time. Sad to hear this news -- but he had absolutely nothing left to prove. He's one of the greats, and everyone knows it. And let's be honest -- he became it without needing WWE one bit. I don't know about that. In WWE, he probably would have been on a lighter (i.e. Ric Flair) schedule, and wouldn't have been taking the bumps he had been taking in TNA. He had 162 matches in TNA from 2006 to January 2014, giving him about 20 matches a year. Ric had 185 matches in WWE from 2002 to April 2008, giving him about 29 matches a year. The matches and wrestlers in WWE would have been safer, due to WWE's move/spot restrictions and drug testing.

If anything it was his fault for taking all of those big bumps at his age. The Cena injury and Seth's own injury were both accidents.

Part time old wrestlers win matches and wfigs bitches Part time old wrestlers lose matches and wfigs bitches Lol okay now it's all out in the open guys I don't think people are bitching because he lost those matches. It's the fact they finally got him and tossed him into a really crapty overbooked match at 'Mania for pure "nostalgia" that was more about "WWF vs. WCW" than anything. Then they tossed him into a championship feud that really didn't make any sense tbh. It's more about his angles vs. him losing. That's just my take away though. I didn't give two hoots that Sting was "finally" there. Sucks that he's having to retire due to injury. Lol I'm mostly poking fun man

Because this injury, much like Edge's, was going to happen no matter what. It's from the culmination of bumps that he's taken over the years, not some freak accident. If it didn't happen during the Rollins match, it probably would've against Undertaker. The Cena injury was a freak accident, and how many times have things like that happened during a match throughout Rollins' career? 'Cause I sure don't remember it happening frequently, or him having a reputation for being reckless.

Seth has delivered it tons of times over his career and one time it injured someone. It happens. As far as I could tell, he did all he could in the two situations. Those are the only two situations I could think of involving Seth and an injury.

And deliver a few other injuries? Jack Swagger? Ryback / CM Punk? Samoa Joe / Tyson Kidd

I'm not surprised but still it's kinda sad to hear Sting is officially retired.

I blame Seth Rollins...... he's been directly involved in serious injuries to Cena, Sting.... and himself. Sting has already said that he himself was completely at fault for the injury, due to how he took the move. I wouldn't consider breaking Cena's nose a serious injury, as it wasn't career threatening and he was back in a month. Rollins's own injury was due to him landing awkwardly during a Sunset Flip into a Powerbomb that he preformed on Kane (who was on the second rope). What about these other broken noses, are they all seriously unsafe workers due to these? - The Hardyz break Joey Mercury's nose - CM Punk breaks Rey Mysterio's nose - Rey Mysterio breaks Undertaker's nose and orbital bone - Randy Orton breaks CM Punk's nose What about these near serious injuries at live events? - Orton nearly killing Cody Rhodes with his Punt kick, had Cody not been wearing the orbital mask (which broke in half) - Miz preforming a stalling suplex on Punk that ended like this

I was really hoping to see Sting vs. Undertaker, guess it will always be a dream match that never happened. :/

No reason to blame Rollins, Sting said himself it was 100% his own fault for spacing out and not tucking his chin on either bucklebomb. Maybe after Sting took the first one so poorly maybe they should have called an audible and skipped the 2nd one, but that's all hindsight. Bottom line, Sting took the move improperly and there is nothing Rollins could have done. Sting didn't tuck his chin and only he could have done it for himself.

Damn, this one hurts like Edge did.
One of my all time favorites... Top 5 without a doubt. Glad I got to see his last match ever live. I'll never forget it. Dude went in there taking some crazy bumps for his age. I still wish he had beaten Rollins and been cashed in on by Sheamus...cause Rollins had one of the worst title runs ever in my eyes. Only thing that saved it was his wrestling. Sheamus' short title run was 10x better than Rollins' was.
Anyways, really sad he had to go out that way... Thank you, Sting.
